Wrapping up our trip through the 2022 blockbuster landscape, returning guest/friend of the pod/Sonic autist of note Andy (@Ex_AnarchoAnon) from Those Good Old Fashioned Values joins Nicole and Cole for what's supposed to be an episode about Sonic the Hedgehog 2. We really were going to try to stretch out a mediocre video game movie for children and their ironically detached millennial parents into a 90-120 minute conversation, accounting for at least 45 minutes of derailments (as to be expected). But then Paramount and the Ellison crime family colluded with Trump's ROG (Reddit Occupied Government) to expand their slopaganda reich and successfully win the bid for ALL OF Warner Brothers, consolidating a vast chunk of American media under the control of an eyebrow-less failed-actor whose tech-billionaire daddy footed the bill for a movie studio as consolation for Flyboys eating shit at the box office. Plus, more Ken Penders talk and Live Reacts to Jim Carrey's new face. Welcome To November 2Legs Listeners! For our first new show of the month we revisit a series we did a few weeks back called "Divided Albums." This time we chose that oft-neglected and overlooked Spring 1976 LP Wings at The Speed of Sound. This album routinely ranks pretty low in the Macca/Wings canon by most fans/critics because of its paint by numbers democratic approach. Despite having two huge hit singles in 'Silly Love Songs' (US #1) and 'Let 'Em In' (US #3). Which makes the album kind of an anomaly in his career. We both think it's a fine album but in the career of Paul McCartney some albums will naturally outshine others. Does it divide the fanbase? Probably. How do you rank the tracks and the album overall? Let us know in the comments! Peace! Andy and Tom

It's Olympics week, and since we've been following heavily on some of Pearl Jam's past European shows lately, why not add one more into the fold to keep the theme alive? This show from Vienna is like running a marathon as the band treats us to nearly 3 hours of an excellent 35-song set. Everything was on the table here as they dipped into songs from nearly every album, including many of the check list songs for all of the serious collectors. The theme for this show? Less talk, more rock. The band wasted no time at the beginning of the show going on a run of eight straight songs to start the show. This was not necessarily a night for chatting, it was a night for amazing bass grooves and solos ala Gossard. We'll talk about how great they both sound at this one and highlight songs such as Hail, Hail and Brain Of J where they both thrived. But the rarities also dominate the night as it's the last time to date that they've played Can't Keep, Rats and the deep Backspacer cut Speed Of Sound is also featured at this show. We also hear some rare covers involved including Rain, Public Image and Needle And The Damage Done. We'll also get into a deep conversation about how meaningful encore 2 sets are outside of creating the party atmosphere to close your night. I was close to finishing off the tracklists for this month’s two part new release series when I received an unexpected text message from an old friend. Rich Show, the legendary leader of three classic South Dakota bands (No Direction, Flag With Hank, and Violet), along with a number of side projects and solo releases, sent me the files for his upcoming record, Age Appropriate. I could not have been happier with this shocking news, as he’s been a great friend for the over 40 years he’s been creating music. Obviously, I immediately sampled tracks from the record and inserted them into tonight’s show. But Rich is not the ony friend whose music is featured tonight. White Rose Motor Oil sent me the second cover of their “pre-owned songs” series. Rob Moss and Skin-Tight Skin have contnued their series of monthly singles. Numb Surprise, who contributed to last year’s “52 Weeks of Teenage Kicks”, provided two newly-recorded tracks. There’s also fantastic tracks from our friends at Big Stir Records (The Half Cubes, The Speed Of Sound), Rum Bar Records (Beebe Gallini, Pavid Vermin, The Shang Hi Los), and many others! My hope for these new release shows, and honestly all […]

Sound travels fast. Very fast. However, it is not so fast that we can't recognize that it has a finite speed. The speed of sound was estimated and later measured centuries ago, but it was only recently that it has been possible actually travel faster than the speed of sound. It turns out that while it is possible to travel faster than the speed of sound, there are a whole host of problems that go along with it.
