This takes us from the time of Samuel and Saul, all the way to the time of Esther and Mordechai over 50 years after the return from Babylonian captivity.1 Corinthians 10:6 KJVNow these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.Related Podcasts:— Introduction to the Writings of Moses— Introduction to the Time of the Judges— Introduction to the Time of the Kings— The Key Principles of Effective Bible Study— The Purpose of the Holy Scriptures— The Scriptures are Inspired by God— Spiritual Things are Spiritually Discerned— The Bible is a Complete Collection— Study Topics from the Beginning— The Bible is its own InterpreterRelated Podcasts at TrueWisdom:— Samuel Judges Israel— Saul is Troubled— The Beginning of David's Story - Part 1— The Beginning of David's Story - Part 2Text UsSupport the showSend questions or comments to: BibleQuestions@ASBzone.comThe Key Principles of Effective Bible Study is a resource which outlines core concepts shown in the Scriptures that will help you to better understand many Biblical themes and doctrines. Send us a textProverbs 24:3 says Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; If you read to verse 6 you find out that wisdom is essential if we are to live a life that is pleasing to God and is fruitful. All of life is dependent on wise decisions. "The wise man built his house upon a rock," and that Rock is Christ Jesus (cf. Matt.7:24-27; 1 Cor. 10:4). God is the source of wisdom, not the world. A wise person knows that he needs other people in his life to help him make right decisions. We are foolish when we don't supplement our study of scriptures and every day decisions by first asking God and then when we are not clear on a decision to run it by others also. It is good to have godly friends who have knowledge in areas we don't and can give wise counsel. Where do you get yours? Proverbs 24:3-6 Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; 4 By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches. 5 A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; 6 For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety. Mark 8:36 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Have you trusted Him as your Savior? He can Save you if You ask Him based on His death, burial, and resurrection for your sins. Believe in Him for forgiveness of your sins today. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” -John 8:32 Our mission is to spread the gospel and to go to the least of these with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ; We reach out to those the World has forgotten. hisloveministries.podbean.com #HLMSocial hisloveministries.net https://www.instagram.com/hisloveministries1/?hl=en His Love Ministries on Itunes Don't go for all the gusto you can get, go for all the God (Jesus Christ) you can get. Identity Confirmed, Calling CommissionedThis week, we step into the powerful book of Isaiah alongside Paul's letters, the Psalms, and Proverbs to discover how God shapes our identity and commissions us for His calling. From Isaiah's warnings against false strength to Paul's reminder to boast only in the Lord, we'll learn that true identity is found not in self-promotion, but in surrender.
In this remastered message we examine James 3:13–18, contrasting earthly, self-seeking wisdom—marked by envy and confusion—with wisdom from above, which is pure, peaceable, gentle, merciful, and fruitful. The episode emphasizes that true wisdom is proven by conduct, attitudes of meekness and humility, and a life transformed by Christ, urging listeners to let their lives demonstrate the proof of new life through Jesus, Who gives Godly wisdom.

Come with us to Genesis, Exodus, the Gospels and Acts... (I didn't mention it in this presentation, but we cannot forget Christ's baptism, either, as the Holy Spirit provided Christ's anointing...)John 3:5 KJVJesus answered, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”Related Podcasts:— Ye Must Be Born Again— The Purpose of the Holy Scriptures— The Messages of the Bible are Broadly Applicable— The Bible is both Literal and SpiritualRelated Podcasts at TrueWisdom:— How God Truly Created ManText UsSupport the showSend questions or comments to: BibleQuestions@ASBzone.comThe Key Principles of Effective Bible Study is a resource which outlines core concepts shown in the Scriptures that will help you to better understand many Biblical themes and doctrines. A devotional study about how vital it is for us to come back to repentance after we have fallen into sin and error. Too often we fall from grace, and then we wallow in our situation, whether because of sadness, grief, stress or despondency. We need to awaken and arise from our lethargy, that we can respond to the pleading of the Holy Spirit as He calls us to repentance.Luke 15:17 KJVAnd when he came to himself, he said, “How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!”Related Podcasts:— Persistent and Consistent -- Prayer Life— Is Right Doing That Complex?— What of Works?— Missing the Mark— Search Me, O God— Beware Self-Righteousness— Godly Sorrow, True Repentance— Why Do We Seek Wisdom?— Having the Right PerspectiveRelated Podcasts at TrueWisdom:— What God Requires— Grace, Grace, and More Grace— The Kingdom of God ComethText UsSupport the showPlease send your questions or comments to: BibleQuestions@ASBzone.comWe often refer to "The Key Principles of Effective Bible Study," a Bible Study resource which outlines core concepts shown in the Scriptures that will help you to better understand many Biblical themes and doctrines. A devotional study about how important it is to be aligned with God's will when we pray, and not just be persistent in praying for whatever we want.
