God gives to people talents and gifts and opportunities as He sees fit. And He holds us accountable for what we have been given, proportionately to how we have been blessed and favored. Today, we will look briefly at some of the people in the Bible who were blessed and whether or not they rose to the level of how they had been blessed.Luke 12:47-48 KJVAnd that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.Moderate potential, Squandered opportunities•Prodigal son•Hophni & Phineas•Thief on the Cross #1•Received one TalentModerate potential, Maximized outcome•Rahab•Samuel•Jeremiah•Thief on the Cross #2High potential, Squandered opportunities•Nadab & Abihu•Samson•Solomon•Rich Young RulerHigh potential, Maximized outcome•Joseph•Moses•Daniel•John the BaptistRelated Podcasts:— Derailed from your Destiny— Having the Right Perspective— The Foreknowledge Conundrum— The Sanctification of King Nebuchadnezzar— Lessons from the Life of Naaman the leper— Lessons from the Book of Job #1— Lessons from the Book of Job #2— Answered of the Lord, Part 1— Answered of the Lord, Part 2— What Doest Thou Here, Elijah?— Lessons from the Book of Jonah— Lessons from the Life of King HezekiahRelated Podcasts at TrueWisdom:— Who is Predestined?— Teach Me Thy Statutes— The Covetousness of Achan— Using Scripture to Beat the DevilText UsSupport the showSend questions or comments to: BibleQuestions@ASBzone.comThe Key Principles of Effective Bible Study is a resource which outlines core concepts shown in the Scriptures that will help you to better understand many Biblical themes and doctrines. OPENING: THE $13 BILLION PARADOX //"Good evening, everyone. / If we analyze FIFA's balance sheet through a traditional corporate lens, / the 2026 commercial cycle is an astronomical success. //We are looking at a 73% leap in top-line revenue. // The primary growth driver was expanding the tournament to 48 teams, / inflating the match volume from 64 to 104 games / to capture 3 billion dollars in marginal broadcasting and hospitality revenue. //But as economists and legal practitioners, / we know that revenue without regulatory risk mitigation is a bubble. //FIFA has maximized short-term yield at the absolute expense of market efficiency. / By ignoring the Economics of Incentives, / they have engineered a textbook moral hazard environment / where the rational behavior of agents on the pitch / results in the structural destruction of the spectacle itself." //. #fifa #football #worldcup #solomonvonherclestein

The Bills didn't chase headlines… they built a plan. After trading back multiple times in the draft, Buffalo walked away with something most teams miss: real value across the board. But was it the right move? Eric Wood is joined by draft analyst Joe Marino to break down the strategy behind the Bills' approach — why they passed on early picks, how they maximized every opportunity, and which players could quietly become the biggest impact pieces on this roster. From under-the-radar steals to a complete shift in defensive philosophy, this episode dives into what the Bills are really building — and why this draft might matter more than people think. The Centered on Buffalo Podcast is sponsored by:Dan-O's Seasoning Follow Dan-O's Seasoning on Social @danosseasoning https://danosseasoning.com/product/eric-woods-bundle/ 15% off code: ewoodNugsax Reusable Icenugsax.com10% Off CODE: ewood
If you're tired of decluttering the same spaces over and over again, this conversation will feel like a breath of fresh air. In this episode, I'm joined by Katy Wells, the voice behind the Maximized Minimalist and author of Making Home Your Happy Place to talk about why clutter keeps coming back and how to finally break the cycle. Katy shares the moment she realized her home was pulling her away from being the “yes mom” she wanted to be, and how true change didn't come from better bins or checklists, but from getting to the root of her clutter. We talk about your “stuff story,” the difference between mess and clutter (hint: mess is expected), and the four types of clutter that require different strategies. If you've ever thought, “I'm just not organized” or felt shame about the state of your home, this episode will encourage you. Letting go isn't a personality trait, it's a skill you can learn. And with a few tiny tweaks and the right questions, you really can create a home that feels like your happy place. Mentioned in This Episode:
