Sonia C. is in London this week and she's having a hard time keeping balance in her life. It's easy when you work for yourself, you can work till 1am and there isn't exactly a consequence to it! Sonia T. feels that! She is always incredibly enthusiastic on what she can achieve in a day vs. what she actually does achieve.    This week's theme is about: Fun and Present Experiences.    Highlights: Do you ever feel like you're not doing enough? [1:35] Is your perfect morning routine just another way to mask anxiety? [5:15]  When was the last time you really had fun? [7:55]  We are missing a big sense of ‘being present'. Technology is distracting. [12:00]  Our good student persona is so tempted to do all the course work, but not actually do all the experiences, the feeling, the connection, that the homework requires. [12:45]  To live an intuitive life, you have to be out of your head! [16:45] You have to strengthen your vagus nerve! [23:15] Sonia C. really has been suffering from burnout. [29:00] Tool of the week [33:20] Question of the week [34:30] What do Sonia C. and Sonia T. do when they feel a bad vibe?    Sonia C. knows that the path of imbalance leads to burn out. So she decided to make two commitments and promises to herself: Do a daily spiritual practice to set the tone for the day and do a daily spiritual timeout where she makes time for fun! Sonia C. has been showing up to the spiritual practice but she's been skipping out on the spiritual timeout. Why is it so hard to have a bit of fun during the day?    Sonia T. understands the struggle. Sometimes we just ‘go through the motions' of our morning routine without being present. And whenever we do that, we do not reap the physical and emotional rewards of the actual morning practice! Although Sonia T. knows it's not good to compare, she sees on social media how people have a strong morning routine, and it's very aspirational. However, on the flip side, sometimes it feels too regimented and she wonders if they're actually even doing it because it seems so impractical and not ‘real life'.    Question of the Week: What do we do when we get a feeling something is off or wrong with someone close to us?     Tool of the Week: Put your spirit in a fun timeout. Foster joy!    Continue on Your Journey: More Sonia Choquette at www.soniachoquette.com More Sonia Tully at www.soniatully.com Connect with Sabrina at www.sabrinatully.com Join Sonia Choquette's Vibe Tribe Follow Sonia Choquette on Instagram Follow Sonia Tully on Instagram Buy Sonia and Sabrina's Book You Are Amazing Ask your intuitive questions at: itsallrelatedpodcastquestions@gmail.com

Jokes You Can Use: Why was the cat afraid of the tree? Because of the tree bark. Guy: Haven’t I seen you someplace before? Girl: Yes, that’s why I don’t go there anymore. An Antartian ordered a pizza and the clerk asked if he should cut it in six or twelve pieces. The Antartian replies, "Six, please. I could never eat twelve pieces." Five doctors went to on a duck hunt: a GP, a pediatrician, a psychiatrist, a surgeon, and a pathologist. After a while a bird came winging overhead, the GP raised his shogun but didn’t shoot because he wasn’t sure if it was a duck or not. The pediatrician also raised his gun, but then he wasn’t sure if it was a male or female duck, so he didn’t shoot. The psychiatrist raised his gun and then thought, I know that’s a duck, but does the duck know it’s a duck?” The surgeon was the only one who shot. Boom!! He blew it away. Then he turned to the pathologist and said, “Go see if that was a duck.” Q. Why was the strawberry so sad? A. His parent’s were in a jam. On Our Mind: The nuttiness of the end of the year. I got to thinking about measurement in middle school science and its connection to the math curriculum. In Michigan, we stop teaching measurement in grade 6 and it all becomes application. I think it is a good idea for middle school teachers to check out the math curriculum on measurement so that they have a solid understanding of the knowledge that students have, coming into their classrooms. Often, science teachers will say that their students can't measure, but math teachers know they have been teaching a lot about measurement.
