Our show opens with great news, the confirmation of Tulsi Gabbard as our new Director of National Intelligence. We then spend time throwing Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) under the bus for his utter lack of loyalty back to her for all she once did for him. President Trump announced a positive phone call with Russian President Putin. They are going to move rapidly toward a resolution with Ukraine and with President Zelenskyy. The CPI was expected to rise .3% today, but inflation is up .5% month-to-month. As predicted, the Left, led by Sen. Chuck “You” Schumer (D-NY) tried to put the blame on Donald Trump. Keep in mind, Trump was barely in office for 10 days out of the month of January. The real reason is the last minute spending spree from the Biden regime. Michael Shellenberger with Public continues their reporting into USAID and how they paid to plant fake evidence for the first Trump impeachment. Well, it looks like they were also behind the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. And, on the subject of corruption, law-breaking and collusion, new emails from NARA show the Mar-a-Lago raid was started out of Joe Biden's White House. I'm not sure what new intel might have motivated it, but President Trump said he was fed up with the hostages not being released all at once and said he wants them all turned over by noon on Saturday. Israel, who would be responsible for any attack, agreed with Trump. Independent Australian reporter, Erin Molan, weighed-in on this and wonders why it took this long for someone to show real strength? The Left continues to try to get us to believe that Elon Musk is in charge and Trump is upset by that. It's laughable to see the lengths to which our state-run propagandists are willing to go to lie to us. And they have added a new tactic – they now say, just because Musk is saying he found fraud, doesn't mean he really found anything. Even the Biden GAO said there is upwards of $500+ billion a year in fraud in our government. Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) also made an ironic observation about those who don't want the government audited, but were fine hiring 80,000 IRS agents with guns to come audit us. National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett believes Musk's team is doing an amazing job. But, a Tossin' with Toobin segment shows CNN is going to run with the “we don't believe them” narrative. Onto corrupt Federal judges. CNN's Scott Jennings rips his panel apart with truth and logic. The judges are so biased and flawed and they don't even bother hiding it. AG Pam Bondi says they are going to fight back against the lawfare. Finally, Sec of Defense Pete Hegseth has made it clear, Ukraine will not be rolled into NATO and no US troops will be deployed. Hostage Marc Fogel has been released from Russia thanks to Donald Trump. And, fresh off of the release of all the 60 Minutes footage of the Kamala Harris interview, Trump has upped his suit against CBS to $20 billion! On today's show, we open as we usually do, with Tara Bull's Top 10 News Stories the Legacy/mainstream media likely didn't tell you this week. It's a great way to pickup on several news items all at once before diving into the rest of the content. The breaking story today, continuing to affirm my belief that our government is wholly operating as a Marxist Authoritarian regime, is the release of the changes Biden wants to make to Title IX. For those those may not know, Title IX was enacted to make sure women had equal access to sports and sporting activities on college campuses. Today, in an effort to force Transgenerism and Wokism down our throats, they have changed the language to erase women and favor those with significant mental health issues. Yesterday, Israel decided it was time return the favor and dropped several ordinance packages on Iran. What's sad is how the timeline played out in the hours beforehand. Did you know that our government, the pro-Hamas/ceasefire now folks, begged Israel not to do it. In fact, they said if Israel didn't attack Iran, they would look the other way and let them take care of Hamas in Rafah. In other words, this Administration was more worried about protecting Iran over Palestinians. What does that tell you about the non-elected people behind the scene and their motivations? Next we look at some of the jurors and the juror selection for the Donald Trump case in NYC. After listening, do you really see any jurors open to fairness? Even one, who was initially added to the panel, decided, after sleeping on it, that she really couldn't be unbiased. On top of that, I remind you of all the facts that led up to this case and how bad it really is. The fact that it's even happening feels like we are already in some dystopian world where the rule of law has long since been forgotten. Finally, and perhaps a bit of light-blue levity, we get another segment of Tossin' with Toobin. Disgraced former CNN voice dared to say it was a disgrace for Justice Clarence Thomas to be listening to the case about the one charge DOJ is putting on J6 defendants to intentionally increase their jail time. Leave it to Megyn Kelly to remind Toobin who waived his right to weigh-in on acts of disgrace after his Zoom call incident with other female reporters watching. As we end, I wanted to play a quick scene from the second Lord of the Rings film, The Two Towers. It is a reminder to both me and to the audience, that there is still some good in this world and it is worth fighting for. Released on the occasion of the film's inclusion in the 2024 Whitney Biennial, this episode of On Production looks back at the creation of artist Clarissa Tossin's Mojo'q che b'ixan ri ixkanulab' / Antes de que los Volcanes Canten / Before the Volcanoes Sing at EMPAC, which took place over the course of a three-year period. EMPAC's Video Engineer Ryan Jenkins talks with artist Clarissa Tossin and her Director of Photography Jeremy Glaholt about the process of producing the project. They discuss elements of the cinematography; the creation of set elements such as a reflective pool used in the film; and the technical and creative challenges of shifting from a small studio practice to working with a large crew. Mojo'q che b'ixan ri ixkanulab' / Antes de que los Volcanes Canten / Before the Volcanoes Sing takes a sonic approach to the articulation of architectural borrowings by Western architects of indigenous cultural motifs, utilizing 3D-printed replicas of Maya wind instruments from Pre-Columbian collections held in US and Guatemalan museums.

This week on Echoes of Indiana Avenue, explore the music of Bobby Lewis, Indianapolis' biggest rock and roll star. His 1961 single “Tossin' and Turnin'” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 7 straight weeks. Bobby Lewis was 36 years old when “Tossin' and Turnin'” hit the charts. Success had not come easy for the singer. Lewis was born in Indianapolis in 1925 and spent his early years in an orphanage. At age 12 Lewis was adopted and moved to Detroit with his foster parents. But by age 18, he was back in Indianapolis. Lewis became a star on Indiana Avenue during the early 1950s, appearing at venues including George's Bar and the Walker Casino. In 1952, Lewis was nominated as “best male singer” in the Indianapolis Recorder's entertainment poll. That was also the year he issued his debut single for Chicago's Chess Records.
