A Dallas ICE facility was shot up by 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, who ended up killing two detained migrants and injuring a third. He indiscriminately fired from a neighboring rooftop and was targeting ICE agents, none of whom were harmed. Jahn then fatally turned the gun on himself. Burglars like to look for an open bathroom window as their preferred method of breaking into a home. They also don't necessarily prefer to do the breaking and entering at nighttime, but during the early evening. Plus, they're mostly looking for jewelry and cash, anything easy to carry. The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Cali next January and February! They've played over 27,000 games!

Alex speaks with York Regional Police Chief Jim MacSween following public backlash over his recent comments urging residents to comply with armed intruders during home invasions. The statement comes in the wake of a horrific case in Vaughan where a father was shot and killed in front of his children. Chief MacSween stands by his comments—but is this advice a necessary safety precaution, or an alarming sign of lost control? In this segment, Alex and the Chief discuss: The reasoning behind the controversial advice; Rising violent crime in York Region, including home invasions and carjackings; How police are responding—and what residents can realistically do to protect themselves. A direct and urgent conversation about public safety, policing challenges, and the trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Learn more about your ad choices. Today, we start off with comments made by York, Ontario Police Chief Jim MacSween suggesting that, heaven forbid, if you were the victim of a home invasion, your best course of action would be to comply with the invaders, really? What do you make of these comments by the police chief, is this the proper way to handle this situation? And following that, on a lighter note, we've all fallen down internet rabbit holes before, is there something on the internet that you weren't looking for that found you anyway, but you ended up thoroughly enjoying it, an internet 'happy accident' if you will?

Was This Kohberger's Dry Run? The Forgotten Home Invasion in Pullman In this chilling episode of Hidden Killers, we peel back the layers of an unsolved mystery that may have been a terrifying prelude to the University of Idaho murders. On October 10, 2021—more than a year before Bryan Kohberger was arrested for the brutal stabbings in Moscow—a college student in Pullman, Washington woke up to a masked man standing silently at the foot of her bed… holding a knife. The masked intruder didn't speak. He didn't steal anything. He simply stared—until the student kicked him in the stomach, sending him fleeing into the night. Police arrived to find no trace. No evidence. Just a shaken survivor and a trail gone cold. Fast forward to late 2022, and Bryan Kohberger is in custody, charged with the murder of four college students less than 10 miles away. That's when investigators reopened the 2021 Pullman case—and what they found sent a chill down everyone's spine. The timing, the M.O., the house layout, the silence, the mask—it all felt too familiar. In this episode, we break the story down segment by segment: from the night of the attack, to the eerie parallels with the Idaho murders, to the question of whether Kohberger was in town before his move to Pullman. We examine the behavioral psychology behind escalation, “dry runs,” and criminal fantasy—and we ask the question: If this wasn't Kohberger, then who the hell was it? This is the story of a break-in that almost no one remembers—until you realize it might have been the beginning of something much darker. A deaf and mute author, living in isolation, is visited at night by a masked predator threatening her life. Hush takes home invasion horror to new heights by pitting a masked killer up against a writer who is living in the woods alone and doesn't have the ability to hear or speak. Mike Flanagan, who has made a name for himself with several successful horror movies and tv shows, creates a tense atmosphere in this movie that continues to build over the duration of the film. What appears to be a hopeless situation is countered by the protagonist's inability to give up and be a worthy adversary.
