What a World Cup experience that was! Brett joins me to talk about it all. Spain took down Argentina 1-0 in the final to win it all. We kick things off by talking about how it all went down! Then, we zoom out to talk about the tournament as a whole, starting with the expanded field. How did it contribute to the tournament vibes, and what were the best parts of it? Some new stars emerged, and some known stars reminded us why they are stars in the first place! We give props to the best in the world, and talk about how impressive it was for them to perform under the sport's brightest lights. We also break down some of the team archetypes we saw throughout the tournament and make some cross-sport comparisons. We move on to talking about the USMNT performance. Christian Pulisic's performance was pretty indicative of the team as a whole. So where do we go from here? Also, how much did Trump's involvement in the Balogun red card debacle affect the team's play against Belgium? It wasn't all bad in the US of A. As one of the host countries, we have the perfect infrastructure for such a massive event. What were the highlights? And could we host again much sooner than expected? Also, a little info on our soccer coverage moving forward! Always fun with Brett, so tap in!Want more of what I'm doing?
