Welcome to the small isle of Koro de Reĝo, a small but ancient island between Demor Gaulando (Tim's side story continent) and Cepodoro (Sean's main story continent). This island is very special as there are historical sites on it that could thrown into question the commonly held understandings of how people moved from content to content. Of course our players don't care about that, they only care about getting a drink as they enter the bar from their last adventure. Little do they know know as they talk and introduce their characters to the fellow people in the bar, their time off is about to be interrupted… by adventure! The teams keep messing around and don't seem to progress much until team Romancing The Dungeon push ahead and make it to the second level of the pyramid. They pull into the lead but team Don't Call Us Heroes make some calculated moves and aren't going to let our guests keep that lead. With time running out (both in real life and in DND) and that mysterious red liquid rising higher, will everyone make it out alive or will it be a massive death count? Between mystical items from famous bards and Tim's idea of using bombs for every day tasks, who knows who else is going to die?Team RTD: Aelar the Quiet (Declan), Brutus the Dog (Diarmuid), Skunk (Sam), Renna Fenvyre (Louise), Princess Penelope the Crocodile (Amber)Team DCUH: Hornfels (Kumar), RTwoBeerToo (Joe), Mordecai Kummslut (Jon), Winkelton B Tinkelton (Tim)Be sure to check out their home: https://romancing-the-dungeon.simplecast.com/Their Itunes: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/romancing-the-dungeon/id1495305450And their Twitter is fun too! @D8DungeonCredits:Thank you to Diarmuid from Romancing the Dungeon for the Special Crossover Artwork!Thank you to Jesus Gonzalez and Jon Brown for their great work!Main Special Theme "Dumb Idea No 1 - roll that beautiful love footage take 4" Used with permission By Jesus Gonzalez Site: theweatherdespots.wordpress.comCredit Music: "Dumb Idea No 1_alternate reality take 2" Used with permission By Jesus Gonzalez Site: theweatherdespots.wordpress.comAnd please visit us for updates and more at www.dcuhshow.com and look us up on the Facebook, the Twitter, and the Instagram because we are lonely and need friends! At the checkpoint of one week into winter quarter, I already have doubts and uncertainties about my classes and majors. In this episode, I discuss a change in my undergrad plans, as well as some foresight for the near (and far) future and how it has affected my current plans. On a greatly more exciting note, I recommend this podcast's first ever Spanglish recommendation! Listen to discover a cute, light song with synth-y beats and a touch of Spanish vibes!

Thank you to Laura for commissioning this episode! So. That was a helluva finale. I don't know what to think. I know that there's another whole season coming, and that Eve can't really actually be dead like she seems to be, but where do we go from here? Is this going to go back to Eve VS Vilanelle like in the first season, but without any sense of affection between them? What about Constantine, is he going to get what he wanted? I really want him to come back in the next season and I am worried we might have seen the last of him. I have no idea what to expect now that Eve has parted ways with Carolyn, as well. I can't help but wonder if she's going to take it back when she recovers. IF. she recovers. Thanks for listening!
In episode 23, Dustin and Zak discuss the 1985 film Just One Of The Guys along with the songs “Hard Way” by Brock/Davis and “Tonight You’re Mine” by Ronnie Spector! In preparation for their upcoming interview with Joyce Hyser-Robinson, the star of Just One Of The Guys, the dudes talk about the impact the 1985 film had on them, as well as not one but two songs from the movie! Debate ensues as to which song should be chosen, so D & Z decided to include both songs in the podcast. Too many great things about JOOTG to cover in just one episode, so Dustin & Zak chose their favorite aspects of the 80s cult classic! Were there things left out (Arye Gross, Greg Tolan’s workout gloves, “Ralph” the creepy high school stalker character, etc)? Absolutely! But much was covered and many laughs were had! They also find time to rant about Isiah Thomas, high school study body elections, how long the uni-bomber evaded police, the “new” Coke, and much more! It’s a fun trip down memory lane! We promise you won’t be “oooohhh, headed for a hard way!” while listening!NEW EPISODES EVERY TWO WEEKS!Please subscribe, rate and review us 5 stars on Apple Podcasts (aka iTunes)Instagram: @twodollarlatefeepodcastZak on Instagram: @zakshafferDustin on Instagram: @dustinrubinvoCheck out the intro/outro music on Bandcamp: jvamusic1.bandcamp.comFacebook: facebook.com/Two-Dollar-Late-Fee-PodcastSpotify: open.spotify.com/show/RadioPublic: radiopublic.com/two-dollar-late-feePodbean: twodollarlatefee.podbean.comStitcher: www.stitcher.comiTunes: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/two-dollar-late-fee
The key to handling life’s circumstances – is to stop using them as a filter and to focus on God’s character. Three significant truths about God’s love for us: +Love responds “while…” +Love makes a away. +Love shouts celebration over condemnation. He is constantly pursuing you, regardless of your sin. If you’re a still long way off today, know that God loves you and is pursuing you not because of anything you’ve done, not because of how good YOU are, but because of how good HE is. God doesn’t pay us back for our sins, he pays for our sins. Speaker: Amanda Beggs

Rea Frey is an award-winning author of several nonfiction books. She released her debut novel, "Not Her Daughter" on Aug. 21, 2018, and followed the book's success with her second novel, "Because You're Mine," (Aug. 6, 2019, Griffin/St. Martin's). Rea lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband and daughter. We discuss her latest stand alone thriller BECAUSE YOU'RE MINE. Single mother Lee has the daily routine down to a science: shower in six minutes. Cut food into perfect squares. Never leave her on-the-spectrum son Mason in someone else’s care. She’ll do anything—anything—to keep his carefully constructed world from falling apart. Do anything to keep him safe. But when her best friend Grace convinces her she needs a small break from motherhood to recharge her batteries, Lee gives in to a weekend trip. Surely a long weekend away from home won’t hurt? Noah, Mason’s handsome, bright, charismatic tutor—the first man in ages Lee’s even noticed—is more than happy to stay with him.Forty-eight hours later, someone is dead.We also highlighted THE PEARL DAGGER the third installment in the Art Deco Mystery Series by L.A. Chandlar. As the Great Depression loosens its grip on New York City, Mayor La Guardia and his team meet their greatest foe in the fight against organized crime.Lane Sanders and her fiery boss, Mayor Fiorello “Fio” La Guardia have managed to contain the explosive underground conspiracies of New York’s most sinister schemers. But after a seemingly harmless pinball racket claims the life of a trusted ally, a new ringleader signals the rebirth of an all-too-familiar crime network at home and across the pond …Spurred on by the possibility of a violent syndicate spreading like wildfire through Europe, Lane sets sail for London—the city where her parents began the undercover work that led to their tragic undoing. And this time, she won’t chase down childhood nightmares without Finn Brodie, who vows to dispel his own difficult secrets abroad …

In Jeans You're Mine. Written and performed by Emily Benita. Have you ever seen an object, laying there on the ground, entirely without context? Looks ridiculous, in this space you were just trotting over. And what is your next thought? You wonder how that got there. You wonder about its history, its secrets, its travels. It’s probably better travelled than you, you worn-out workaday sap! In Jeans You’re Mine tells the story of a girl stopped dead in the street by an inanimate object... Artwork by Sam Vickers.
