As a producer, audio engineer, musician, and Podcast host, my mission with 2200TAPS is to go after the music hidden in your personal stories and trauma by giving your feelings a voice in a safe place. Music helped me take suicide off the table because someone decided to share their story through music. I'll find your melody when you're ready to share your story and these Podcasts are just a taste of what that looks like. I've also got a special place in my heart for Veterans. Losing 22 a day is b******t and I was almost one of them! I will continue to stop at nothing until we get that number down to ZERO!!

Kicking off our very first show of 2024 is none other than the Queen G herself from the Bad Bitch Vibes Podcast, Glena! *Special thanks to Courtney and Tezra for coming on as well
What a wild ride it's been with the three ladies from Bad Bitch Vibes and we're barely into part 2 of this 3 part series.Join us as we sit with Tezra, another amazing woman from this wild crew. Tezra brought a very different but much needed story that I don't think we've had just yet on this show. She definitely took us for a ride and we are just honored that she shared it ALL with us so that you can have a few takeaways on what worked and what didn't. The beautiful thing about our guests is we don't really know which direction they're going to take us until we hit record. Other than asking them what their not ready to talk about, they just grab us by the hand and take us on one hell of a ride. All 3 of these women have done just that and more. Do we have a killer episode for you!!We want to caution you that a lot of what this episode contains is very explicit content about Ambers story as a Combat Medic and Mother. Police those little ears as always and if you're ready to rock and roll, we encourage you to listen to the entire episode.I met Amber while in Ireland this past summer while attending a music healing camp with our friends with Operation Rock The Troops. What a beautiful and life changing experience for so many of us. We can't wait for the documentary to be released but until then, we hope you can get a little insight of what we did as we sit down with Amber and relived a bit of it. She is small but mighty and we lover her dearly here in the states. Thank you all for your continued support around our mission and guests. They bring it every time and Ambers story is no different. Our guests just keep getting better and better and this next one has shot to the top of my list of all around good people.Join us as we sit down with Celebrity Trainer Luke Milton as we discuss his experience as a Celebrity Trainer and what it's been like training Adaptive Athletes. He is an Australian native who decided to make some big moves out to Los Angeles where he founded his own gym, Training Mate.He has a huge list of celebs that he has trained and continues to train which we also talk about. So what was our burning question for Luke? What's the difference in training a celebrity VS an adaptive athlete? You won't believe the beautiful answer he gave. Thank you "Mate" for your amazing support, humor and hot pink speedos you occasionally show off to us. Love you brother!!!Training Matehttps://trainingmate.com/Music: "Miracle" by ONLAP (Spotify, Apple Music)
FINALLY...We decided it was time for a fun episode and what better way to throw in shenanigans than teaming up with my best friend and lead singer of Beyond the Blonde out of Chicago. I have invited back Charity alongside her guitarist Bobby for a little hot seat action that they weren't entirely ready for. Our hope is that this brings you laughter and a little more insight on who they are as they answer a combination of naughty questions and more.If you're a fan of P!nk, Gwen Stefani or Lady Gaga, then you'll want to check out their tribute band to all 3 heavy hitters at the link below.Beyond The Blondehttps://www.beyondtheblondeband.com/Music: "Miracle" by ONLAP (Spotify, Apple Music)
What an honor is was to be able to spend some time with our brother in arms, motivational public speaker and medically retired Army SSG Shilo Harris.Shilo joins us to share a little bit about his story when his Humvee was struck by an IED in 2007 while patrolling the roads of Iraq. He is also sharing a very cool event he will be attending on September 13, 2021 here in Dallas where he will be one of the special guests for Lee Greenwoods Patriot Award Dinner. Find out how you can get involved at https://www.helpingahero.org/ where you can join the movement.A little background, I actually met Shilo at the Celebrity Softball game here in Arlington a couple months ago and what a heart this warrior has. I hope you enjoy this special episode just as much as I did! Love you brother!!Music: "Miracle" by ONLAP (Spotify, Apple Music)

Hey guys,I know I've bene MIA for a while but your girl is back! Check out this quick episode to catch up on what I've been up to this entire time. Thank you ALL for sticking with me on this wild ride. Get ready for some kick ass stories of even more amazing people!!Music by: ONLAP
After reading an article about another teenager committing suicide, I called for an emergency Podcast episode that needed to be done asap. Thankfully, I had many who reached out to help put this special episode together in hopes to help our kids, parents and caretakers who are really struggling with lost hope. Our kiddos are hurting and all they want to be is heard. Our parents are hurting because they are parenting out of fear which in turn comes out sideways to our kids. Our caretakers are also feeling the same things if not more. Join us as we sit down with our guests who bring some nuggets to help our kids, parents and caretakers on this amazing episode. What's even cooler, April and Maddie are actually a mother/daughter duo that bring their story to the table and talk us through what worked, what didn't work and so fourth. Elishia brings a very different angle as a healthcare provider, shares her story about raising her boys and how she worked through that fear. I couldn't ask for a better final episode to sign off with for this madhouse of a year we call 2020!!Music: "Miracle" by ONLAP (Spotify, Apple Music)
My next guest is our very first adaptive athlete and brother in arms, Marine Corp. Veteran Aron Cheatham. After surviving a motorcycle accident while on Active Duty, he chose to do something that not many people could never imagine doing. All this for the sake of his unborn grandchildren! Also, find out how we both met through the Adaptive Training Foundation, founded by retired NFL football player David Vobora. Thank you Aron for coming on and sharing your story brother! This is one of the coolest episodes by far!! Have you ever wondered what people would say if they were still here with us after a horrific suicide attempt? What if I told you my next guest not only survived his suicide attempt, but framed the bullet hole from the exit wound on his wall. I know, crazy right?! Just look at the profile picture for this episode.Well, join us on the very special episode about Roy Williams, an Army Veteran who not only survived the attempt, but managed to call 911 after it happened. This episode is absolutely jaw dropping when you find out how it all unfolded and the message he has for our viewers who are thinking about taking themselves out or just need a heartfelt story of a man who has found a his purpose again all while to telling others..."Don't waist it"!!Music: "Miracle" by ONLAP (Spotify, Apple Music)
I only wish more Veterans would speak up about the madness that we see on the inside that not many civilians know about. Believe it or not, one thing that is highly frowned upon is getting help for your mental health. If you seek help, it could end your career which is why many don't seek help and just stuff. The other...reporting sexual abuse/harassment of any kind. Many (not all) Commands will sweep these reports under the rug or retaliate against their own. Which is exactly what happened to my next guest which ultimately ended his career. There's really nothing left to say other than get ready to hear about some jaw dropping moments as we sit down with Retired Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer Claude Morrissey. His story is absolutely frustrating to hear yet hopeful at the same time. Not to mention, this was by far my funniest episode yet which sounds polar opposite of what we're about to share with you. We hope you share this with your loved ones as we bring light to a very dark area within the Armed Forces. This shit needs to stop!!!https://operationrestoredwarrior.org/ Music: "Miracle" by ONLAP (Spotify, Apple Music)
American Sniper Chris Kyle!!!You might know his name and a little bit of his story as portrayed by award winning actor Bradley Cooper in the Academy Award winning hit American Sniper. You might also know the events that lead up the untimely deaths of Chris and his buddy Chad Littlefield. What many don't know is the story about the woman that was his rock, his amazing wife Taya. That is until now!I had the privilege of sitting down with Taya to discuss her story, how she's been able to overcome such horrible losses, how music has helped play a crucial role in her life and what she's doing now. Talk about a huge blessing to have her on our show.Thank you Taya so very much for giving us your heart. We love you!!https://www.warriorcollections.com/Music: "Miracle" by ONLAP (Spotify, Apple Music)
What if I told you that for a brief stint yours truly was homeless, would you believe me? What if I told you I picked up a part-time job at a gym just so I could take a shower, would you believe me? Well it's all true and I promise I'm going somewhere with this. One of the coolest things in life is when the stars line up and I get to meet some kick ass, everyday people and Veterans who keep fighting the good fight to help bring an end to suicide, Veteran suicide and Veteran homelessness. With that said, you don't want to miss this special episode as I sit down with Marine Veteran Karalyn Martin to showcase some of the ways she's been able to help fight veteran homelessness (females specifically) and her own personal story that literally rocked me during this interview. We're going to talk about the good, the bad and the ugly on how many women have been treated in the service and how she has been able to prevail from retaliation. This isn't a male bashing segment at all, it's her story. It's one of many similar stories that are starting to surface for the general public to see. I'm just so glad she chose to come on our show to tell us how she was able to overcome some of the darkest demons imaginable. She's a fighter to say the least. Also check out the links below to learn about some of the resources we talk about on this episode. They're reputable non-profits here to help you or someone you love with mental health, veteran homelessness or hell, to reconnect with comrades. For our final episode of season 3, I wanted to change it up a bit. I was referred by one of our previous guests to talk to a very sweet lady who lost her late son Joseph Schultz while serving overseas. Once I spoke to her, I knew I had to get her on quickly! Immediately after her son's death, Ms. Betsy decided to keep his legacy alive by creating a non-profit in his honor. Her goal is to help Gold Star families within the U.S. get connected with others all while providing them a safe place to stay. And get this... all expenses are taken care of so they can really focus on that. Now what is a Gold Star family you ask? It's a family who has lost a loved one while serving in the Military. The sad part is many of these families tend to get left behind once their loved one dies. Ms. Betsy's mission is to help change that. So get ready for one of the cutest episodes we've done thus far. What a beautiful honor it was to sit down with this amazing woman. For more information about the Captain Joseph House Foundation, check out all the information below or just give her a call.
