THIS IS A spontaneous episode covering the recent horrific massacre of Hindus in Pahalgam, Kashmir. What we call as the Kashmir “problem” is a polite way of describing a civilisational problem. It is a festering wound created by India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. In this episode, I recount the brilliant article written more than 30 years ago by Sita Ram Goel, one of the greatest intellectual warriors of Sanatana Dharma. In it, Sri Goel gives not only a historical perspective to the Kashmir issue but links it to the failure on the part of the "secular" governments since Independence. In this connection, it is pertinent to remember current the fate of the Hindus in Muslim-majority Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is the same fate that Hindus in Kashmir are also suffering in Kashmir since the last thirty years. In fact, the civilisational problem in J&K is one of Hindu astitva and asmita.Do tune into this powerful episode! This is Episode 1 of a new series of Podcasts narrating the unknown history of how Hindi cinema went from becoming an art form to becoming vehicles for Communist propaganda and a celebration of the Nawab culture and to finally becoming a hotbed for Woke propaganda. This episode gives a detailed historical context of the evolution of Hindi cinema since the days of Satya Harischandra and how it was slowly captured by Communists and Islamists. It explains the reasons why even a century, Hindi cinema has never a full length movie on the Mahabharata and why there are only so few movies made on themes based on Hindu Puranas and folklore. The episode is packed with rich insights from the Indian dramatic tradition dating back to the Natyashastra and how these traditions were systematically destroyed. THIS EPISODE NARRATES the unknown story of how Pakistan tried to capture Delhi on 6 September 1947, two weeks after India attained independence. The plan was set in motion in Pakistan and was executed from within India by the members of the Indian Muslim League. It could have succeeded but for the courageous intervention of the vigilant Sardar Patel. Join the conversation! This episode discusses the severe battering received by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi Assembly polls. Beyond the AAP's electoral loss, it is notable to watch the unhinged meltdown of sections of the Indian media which had acted as the cheerleaders of the AAP. Veteran journalist Rajdeep Sardesai's open support -- and tears -- for the AAP saw him plumb another new low. The same was the case with Pierre Omidyar-funded Newslaundry's apology for the AAP's defeat. RESULTS OF THE Delhi Assembly elections were announced yesterday, on February 8, 2025. The incumbent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was trounced with a significant loss of seats. Its founder Arvind Kejriwal and his close buddy Manish Sisodia were handed humiliating defeats in their own strongholds. This event is a good occasion as any to delve into the circumstances and the forces that led to the AAP's founding in 2012 and the unlikely emergence of Arvind Kejriwal as a visible player in Indian politics.Any way you look at it, AAP is not a political party in the true meaning of the term. It is rather a collection of anarchists and Far Left activists. This podcast traces the trajectory of the AAP's growth and the dangerous, globalist breaking India forces that operate it from behind the scenes. With each passing second, we are hearing the shocking revelations tumbling out of the skeleton closet of USAID, now regarded as one of the world's biggest mafia outfit. The same forces that created, funded and operated USAID were also funding AAP. The AAP was the first attempt at regime change in India.Filled with original insights and in-depth analysis presented by Sandeep Balakrishna, this podcast episode is a must listen! THIS EPISODE NARRATES the unfortunate story of how Nawab Nehru and his henchmen in the Congress Party destroyed R.C. Majumdar's career as a towering historian. R.C. Majumdar remains one of the world-class scholars of history. The manner in which he was hounded out by a bunch of insecure Congress politicians is utterly disgraceful. Majumdar's crime was to declare that he would write the history of the Indian freedom struggle by critically examining the roles of Mohandas Gandhi, Nehru and other Congress leaders was his crime. THE LAST TWO DECADES have been witness to the near-total destruction of Hindus weddings. From being a highly sacred ceremony, they have become sponsored events and vulgar exhibition of wealth. The Hindu community had braved and survived thousands of storms precisely because it was rooted in the Gruhasthashrama Dharma or the Hindu family. The advent of contemporary weddings, where even the notion of sanctity is absent, does not bode well. Watch the full video to understand the extent of this destruction. This is a detailed analysis of the tragic incident concerning the deceased Atul Subash and the roots of the issue. The roots go all the way back to the destruction of the Hindu family system by passing a series of legislations dating back to the 1950s known as the Hindu Code Bill. Ever since, there has been a continuous devaluation and erosion of the Hindu family and consequently, the Hindu society has been broken perhaps irreparably.Arguably, the most draconian legislation that accelerated this break up of the Hindu society is the dreaded Section 498A. This law can be more properly called The Revenge of Shurpanakha. This is an extremely worrisome, serious and grave situation that will have even more far-reaching consequences. Episode 6 of The Dharma Podcast mega series narrating the Marxist destruction of Indian History narrates the long, toxic and distortionist career of Irfan Habib. Irfan Habib has been the most vocal propagandist of rewriting Indian history to force-fit it into Karl Marx's wild theories. He has also been the most vicious denouncer of the RSS, Hindutva and Hindu Dharma. In one of his articles, he has called Hindu nationalism as a disease. For decades, Irfan Habib treated the Aligarh Muslim University as his personal fiefdom. He has awarded and promoted those who toed his line and destroyed the careers of those who merely disagreed with him. Irfan Habib was Chairman of the Indian Council for Historical Research for a record FIVE TIMES! Like Romila Thapar and her ilk, he used the ICHR as a private bank, enriching himself on Indian taxpayer money. Habib's history books are a mass of falsehoods and dubious interpretations calculated to serve the cause of Marxism, not objective history. His tactics of sidelining and conspiring against his own colleagues are hardly befitting an academic. Irfan Habib's role in the Ayodhya episode deserves a special mention. This episode cites from the copious speeches and writings of Irfan Habib in this regard and shows him to be a staunch anti-Hindu. Do listen to the whole podcast that contains revealing information and rare anecdotes exposing the voluminous misdeeds and distortions committed by Irfan Habib. If you enjoyed this conversation, please consider supporting The Dharma Podcast so we can offer more such interesting, informative and educational content related to Indian History, Sanatana Dharma, Hindu Culture and current affairs. Listen to the Previous Episodes in this SeriesEPISODE 5 of our mega series narrating the Marxist destruction of Indian History exposes the distortions and falsehoods propagated by Romila Thapar. A committed Communist ideologue, Romila Thapar wrote brazen lies about Indian history throughout her life. Common themes found in her history writing include the wholesale demonisation of Sanatana Dharma and whitewashing the fanatical destructions of Hindu temples by Muslim invaders. This podcast episode takes up specific examples from Romila Thapar's history books and unravels her falsehoods with concrete rebuttals. It is really quite amazing that Romila Thapar has managed to write an entire book on ancient India without knowing a single syllable of Sanskrit. This podcast has been a long-awaited episode by our audience, and we are more than happy to oblige. THE EMERGENCY OF 1975 was an all-encompassing assault on the Constitution and democracy. It was a fatal invasion of the Indian national spirit from which we will probably never recover. In this episode, we narrate the heartrending stories of three unknown heroes from Haryana who fought Indira Gandhi's Emergency and pretty much lost everything. One hero was a mere teenager whose body was physically broken but his spirit remained unyielding. This episode also investigates the impulses that seeded the Emergency. The Emergency was not so much a political atrocity as much as an expression of the dark forces hidden within the human psyche. The Emergency was the dictatorial avatar of the Gandhian intolerance for any opposing views. This podcast gives a brief list of the villains of the Emergency along with their brief CVs. If anything, most of these villains were rewarded with Cabinet ministries and not punished for their excesses. THIS PODCAST analyses the civilisational consequences of the recently concluded 2024 general elections in India. The outcome of this election was a steep decline in the seats won by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a marked increase in those won by the combined INDI alliance led by the Congress party. While Narendra Modi returns to power as Prime Minister in a historical hatrick, there are deeper and significant issues. The political opposition to the BJP has gained in some strength, which poses a renewed threat to the very survival of the Hindu civilisation, which has already been besieged by hostile forces for more than a millennium. What you will listen to in this episode is a unique election analysis since it examines the results from a civilisational and not a purely electoral perspective. The discussion is imbued with rich insights and rare anecdotes drawn from the Sanatana civilisation and how they all connect to current affairs. Join the Conversation! Listen to the Previous EpisodesLEARN ALL ABOUT how the Marxists had mastered the art of bureaucratic functioning and how they were able to manipulate the bureaucracy and plant their own people in all key positions. The establishment of the Jawaharlal Nehru University and the Indian Council for Historical Research (ICHR) was a milestone in the Marxist subversion of Indian education. With this, the Marxists usurped the whole system of designing textbooks and setting the syllabus and sidelined and destroyed the careers of academics who didn't toe their line. This episode also exposes the sheer criminality of the Marxist historians entrenched in the ICHR. The range of this criminality includes financial fraud, nepotism, and brazen academic plagiarism. This episode gives detailed stats and hard data supporting each of these Marxist misdeeds. The worst part of this sordid saga is how they have remained unpunished till date even after they were publicly exposed. Episode 3 of our mega series tracing the Marxist destruction of Indian History begins with the Marxist takeover of existing institutions of history research and writing after India attained Independence. In this endeavour, they were tacitly assisted by India's Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The reign of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad as India's first Education Minister was also a big factor in seeding the distortion of India's real history. The notable fact is that Marxists met with little or no opposition to their efforts at institutional capture and subversion. After Indira Gandhi became Prime Minister, she appointed a committed Marxist named Nurul Hasan as Education Minister. He gave a free run to the Marxists who eventually monopolised history departments across the board. The infamous Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Indian Council for Historical Research (ICHR) were established under his watch. With this kind of stranglehold, Marxist academics began revising history syllabi on an industrial scale and prescribed distorted Indian history textbooks to schoolchildren. The distortionist template had already been set in the 1930s by prejudiced historians like Mohammad Habib and others. A fundamental element of the Marxist distortion of Indian history is its deliberate misrepresentation of the history of the Hindu spiritual civilisation with a long term view of turning the whole Hindu society and India into a Communist country. The second episode of our mega series exploring the Marxist destruction of Indian History begins with the steady rise of ideologues who rewrote Indian history to force-fit it into the Marxist theoretical framework. These ideologues primarily hailed from the Aligarh Muslim University and intersected with the Marxists. This episode traces the downfall of history writing in India, which happened in four or five phases. History writing, which began as a sincere and honest quest for historical truth was eventually hijacked by Marxists who used it as a vehicle to propagate the Communist ideology which has killed the maximum number of people in a single century. After India got independence, the Marxists got their prized puppet in the form of Jawaharlal Nehru, who promoted them on a prolific scale. This episode of the Dharma Conversations does a deep dive into the innate anti-Hindu DNA of the Nehru dynasty, which prevented the reconstruction of the Sri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. This anti-Hindu DNA is also what informed the failed attempts of Nehru to halt the reclamation of the Somanath Temple. More than half a century's worth of evdience shows how the Nehru dynasty monopolised political power in India and deliberately killed generations of talented political leaders. P.V. Narasimha Rao who was recently honoured with the Bharata Ratna by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was humiliated by the same Nehru dynasty. But when he became Prime Minister, he showed what he was really capable of. He lifted India from the poverty enforced through socialist policies and charted a new glorious course for India. This episode also discusses how, over the decades, the Congress became a puppet of the global Far Left and the dangerous networks it has cultivated beginning with Nehru. Rahul Gandhi's alarming statements calling for foreign interference in Indian politics is the culmination of his party's age-old proximity with these breaking India forces. Filled with brilliant insights and rich historical details presented by Sandeep Balakrishna, this episode is a must watch for everyone who wants a nuanced understanding of India's political history since Independence. From 2018 onwards, a new divisive narrative has been let loose in Indian public discourse. It is based on a false premise that South Indian states contribute more to the national exchequer and are being shortchanged by the central government led by PM Narendra Modi. Based on this premise, the narrative has shifted gears to demand a separate nation comprising the whole of South India. In plain language, this is an open call for secession. However, this narrative is not new. It has a history of a century. In this podcast episode, Sandeep Balakrishna does a deep dive into the origins and the history of this demand for secession. Among other things, it is the combined outcome of Dravidianism, the 1928 Nehru Report, the infamous Adhikari Thesis and the Linguistic reorganisation of Indian states. AS THE ONLY SURVIVING non-Abrahamic civilisation, Sanatana Dharma or Hinduism continues to face an existential threat from global forces determined to exterminate it. Apart from Islamism and the Christian missionary apparatus, Communism which has reincarnated as Left Liberalism and Wokeism has reemerged as a lethal force threatening the Hindu civilisation at multiple levels. Yet, Hindu history shows that for more than a millennium of such sustained assaults, Hindus triumphed and even today form the majority in India. The triumph came at enormous cost of continuous defensive warfare and immeasurable self-sacrifice. But there are valuable lessons to be learnt for our own time from this history of victorious survival. This podcast delves into an vast treasure trove encompassing Hindu philosophy, the Bhagavad Gita and expounds on the innate strengths of the Hindu civilisation and society and gives a fourfold practical approach to recover the lost Hindu self-confidence in order to combat the forces of Wokeism wreaking havoc across the globe. THE FIRST RECORDED ALIEN INVASION OF INDIA began with Alexander and ended with Ahmad Shah Adbali (Durrani). From faraway Greece to neighbouring Afghanistan. Throughout this prolonged timepsan, India had been subjected to scores of such alien invasions and finally ended up losing her freedom first to Turkic Muslim invaders and then to the colonial British. However, during the same period, not one alien rule managed to permanently damage Bharatavarsha's civilisational core enconsced within her Vedantic kernel. In just about half an hour, this podcast narrates the full story of India's eventual civilisational triumph. THE UNAMBIGUOUS VERDICT of the century-long history of Communism in India is this: Communism has been a force for absolute evil for the country. One hundred plus years of Communism in India is also the history of insurrections against the Indian state. Despite overwhelming evidence available in public domain, this contemporary history of the Communist cultural genocide in India has never been told to at least four generations of Indian children. Unless the complete and true history of Communism in India is introduced on an urgent basis in school textbooks, it will further erode whatever civilisational strength India has still managed to retain. MULTAN, NOW IN PAKISTAN, is home to the world's largest repository of Sufi shrines. Its original names were Moolasthana, Kashyapura and Kaspatryus, mentioned by the ancient Greek historian, Herodotus. Multan was also the first major ancient Tirthakshetra to be ravaged by Muhammad bin Qasim who desecrated the grand Aditya temple in the city. But there was another equally sacred temple in Multan: the Prahladapuri temple. The history of the Prahladapuri temple is painfully similar to the tragic history of all Hindu temples in the landmass now known as Pakistan. After Multan was thoroughly Islamicised, the Prahladapuri Temple was the only place of Hindu worship in the city. In 1831, it was protected by a small garrison of Sikhs against great odds. The temple survived in this perilous fashion for nearly 150 years after this. In the 1970s, the Pakistan Government took over the temple and built a Madrassa in its premises. In 1992, a fanatical Muslim mob completely demolished the temple. This podcast episode narrates the full historical backdrop to the fortunes of the Prahladpuri temple and the lessons it teaches us.A Heartfelt AppealIf you liked this podcast, please consider making a donation of your choice to The Dharma Dispatch Podcasts so we can keep our content free and offer more such informative and insightful content to you, our valued audience.* Click the button below to make a donation.* Donate via UPI: dharmadispatch@axl* Or Scan the QR Code given below to donate via UPI. THIS EPISODE FEATURES a ready reckoner of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb's prolific temple destructions across India. Copious evidence for this is available directly from Aurangzeb's Farmans (royal orders) and Akhbarat (news reports), William Crooke's Handbooks, De Graaf's chronicles, Charles Stewart's accounts and Jadunath Sarkar's five extraordinary volumes on Aurangzeb. We give a list of more than thirty Hindu temples that Aurangzeb destroyed in a vast geography that includes Agra, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, and Karnataka. That's almost seventy percent of undivided India's landmass.Aurangzeb's reign is undoubtedly the worst of bad news as far as the Hindu civilisational memory is concerned. In fact, the attitude towards Aurangzeb shown by some powerful sections of the contemporary Muslim community in India offers some of the most telling evidences for this fact. Some representatives of the Muslim clergy today, especially on TV debates, are quite candid in their assertion that the Gyanvapi “mosque” is a settled fact—i.e., Hindus have no claim over the original Kashi Visvavantha Temple. THE LIST OF DESTROYED HINDU TEMPLES featured in this podcast is just the tip of the iceberg. The mere sight of a Hindu temple aroused extreme hatred within Aurangzeb. But it was also a gift and an inspiration for posterity. Therefore it is unsurprising that that a whole gamut of future fanatics like Shah Waliullah, Syed Ahmed Khan, Allama Iqbal and Zia-ul-Haq… all of them regarded Aurangzeb as a role model and lamented the loss of his guidance for properly putting the infidel Hindus in their place. But in this historical backdrop, it is clear that the final chapter of this story of temple destructions has still not been written. This podcast episode provides valuable lessons from this slice of Aurangzeb's long and brutal career of persecuting Hindus. These are lessons that must not be forgotten.A Heartfelt AppealIf you liked this podcast, please consider making a donation of your choice to The Dharma Dispatch Podcasts so we can keep our content free and offer more such informative and insightful content to you, our valued audience.* Click the button below to make a donation.* Donate via UPI: dharmadispatch@axl* Or Scan the QR Code given below to donate via UPI. THIS EPISODE FEATURES AN IN-DEPTH analysis of the 2006 Hindi film, Rang De Basanti as a vehicle of Communist propaganda that has three primary purposes: pushing the age-old anti-India agenda, driving the anti-Hindu narrative and targeting the BJP.The movie follows the familiar communist template of using art, literature, poetry, drama and cinema to propagandise communism among the Indian masses. Rang de Basanti was a huge blockbuster when it was released and acquired a semi-cult status especially among the urban Indian youth. However, its commercial success was largely because it drew a historical parallel with five revolutionary Indian fighters: Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Ramprasad Bismil, Ashfaquallah Khan, and Shivram Rajguru and juxtaposed them with five youths of contemporary India. This parallel was achieved by twisting the facts of history and presenting the historical revolutionaries as communist heroes, which they were not. The distortion of history is done to push a specific narrative of equating the colonial British rule of India with a constitutionally elected government of independent India. The propaganda in Rang de Basanti thus works at multiple levels all aimed at the same goal: of advocating a violent overthrow of the Indian government. This podcast episode gives a broad historical background of the origins and methods of communist propaganda in India and provides specific points on how these methods are used in Rang De Basanti. IN 1917, A RADIO BROADCAST IN RUSSIA announced that the Tsarist regime had been overthrown and a new Soviet government had been established. This was the first ever victory of Karl Marx's political ideology, which had now acquired an entire state for itself: the largest country in the world. Quite obviously, the event was enormously significant throughout the world and there was great excitement among Communists in non-communist countries. One such country was England's most prized colony, India. The Dharma Dispatch Digest is a reader-supported publication. Founded in 1920 in Tashkent by M.N. Roy, the Communist Party of India (CPI) has had a chequered legacy in India. Unarguably its influence, impact and consequences for the country have largely been destructive. This destruction has passed through several key stages but it has undeniably been a force of darkness and violence. Overall, Communism in India has calculatedly destroyed many important facets of the ancient Hindu spiritual culture and civilisation. Communist forces in India continue to work for the physical break-up of the Indian state by collaborating with the declared enemies of India. Communism has also been mainly responsible for why India was considered a third world country for more than six decades after it attained independence from the British. Although Communists exist in India as a political force only nominally in the present time, they have managed to infiltrate their ideology by masking it it clever verbiage and have succeeded in a nationwide capture of government and other public institutions. This podcast episode is one of its kind offering a capsule history of a century of Communism in India which covers all the major stages in its history. IN THIS EYE-OPENING CONVERSATION, scholar, columnist, author and an authority on Communism and Marxism, Dr. Shankar Saran takes us on a superb guided tour of the motivations, methods, and impact that Communists have had in India for nearly a century. Dr. Saran speaks about his own journey as a card-carrying Communist initially, and narrates his experiences of being a Marxist ideologue and teacher. He exposes their hypocrisy, their toxic belief system, and the duplicitous role they have played in Indian politics and the public discourse. Dr. Shankar Saran also provides substantial details on how the Communists infiltrated almost all democratic institutions, and the tactics they employed in this ideological takeover. He shares valuable insights into what they label as research and how it has played out in real life. Of great interest is the manner in which the Communists founded the notorious Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), which has a long history of national subversion using the resources of the Indian state. In particular, Dr. Saran provides shocking details of the JNU's visceral hatred for Hindu traditions, knowledge systems and institutions. Equally, Dr. Saran reveals the methods of appointments to influential academic positions almost all of which are controlled by the Communists. THIS PODCAST IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all thinking Indians who will be shocked and appalled at this national travesty called JNU which has continued for about 70 years. It is also an eye-opener and clarifies many issues and questions that people may have about the Jawaharlal Nehru University. THOMAS BABBINGTON MACAULAY'S comprehensive vandalism of the unbroken educational heritage of India wouldn't have been so successful but for the unstinted official support he got from William Bentinck, then the Governor General of India. Bentinck's destruction of the centuries' old educational system of India is a devastation that the country will perhaps never recover from. His project was ably assisted by Macaulay, Charles Trevelyan, Charles Metcalfe and Mountstuart Elphinstone. Hundreds of Sanskrit schools and colleges across Bengal were the maiden victims of this project. The Calcutta-based Goḻiśrī Saṃskṛta-pāṭhaśālā -- Golishri Sanskrit School -- in Calcutta was one of the first such institutions to fall. Premachandra-Vagisha, the head of the Golisri School wrote anxious letters to the British desperately begging them not to destroy his sacred school. Reading those letters even today is a painful experience. But nobody in the 19th Century British establishment paid heed to his gut-wrenching appeals. The consequence: five generations of Calcutta citizens haven't even heard the name of Golisri Sanskrit School. Listen to the Previous EpisodeIN THE PREVIOUS EPISODE of this podcast series, we saw how the British Governor-General, Wellesley drastically reduced the endowments given to Hindu charitable institutions from 855000 to just about 200000 lakh rupees in the Mysore kingdom. This had far reaching consequences not just for these institutions but for the traditional culture of food sharing, the sacred cherished cultural practice of Annadanam, something that India had always been renowned for countless centuries. The fall was swift. As early as 1829, the new governor general William Bentinck was gloating in a letter about the great success of this destructive British project of systematically starving India. The closer the English-educated Hindus came in contact with the British, the more they became like them, the more they imitated their manners and lifestyle and imbibed the same European contempt towards the social customs and traditions of their own countrymen. The British famine report of 1880 led to the creation of an elaborate bureaucracy for managing famine and relief efforts. Its mechanisms and justifications are rooted in this fundamental British or European attitude towards food…in other words, it operates on the premise that Annadanam is unethical and is a social evil. This report is still the basis for the management of famine and relief measures in independent India. This is precisely how the colonial British systematically and institutionally destroyed not just traditional Hindu charitable institutions but transformed India into a nation of beggars. An Appeal: Please Support our Sacred Work to help us Offer More to You!If you liked this episode, please consider making a contribution of your choice to The Dharma Podcast so we can offer you more such informative and insightful content on a range of topics related to Hindu history, civilisation and culture. You can contribute in the following ways* By opting for a paid subscription. IT IS A WELL-KNOWN FACT that India has never fully recovered from the all-encompassing horrors of British colonial rule. Both the human and the economic genocide carried out by the British against is well known. There's the famous book published by Columbia university which calculated that the total amount of money that England heartlessly plundered from India was 45 TRILLION dollars in about 175 years. That is 17 times MORE THAN the total annual GDP of England today. And then there is the other appalling horror: Great Britain under Winston Churchill engineered a famine in 1943 which killed nearly 3 million people in Bengal alone…3 million Indians who literally starved to death and the streets of Bengal were littered with dying and dead bodies of men, women, children, infants… This episode is the first in a series explaining the history and details of how England methodically and systematically destroyed not only Indian food production but the Dharma, the culture, the attitude, manners, customs, and the conception of food that had been handed down by our Rishis and ancestors since time immemorial. The greatest destruction was the destruction of sanctity that Hindus have attached to Daana or charity in its most sublime meaning. The details are highly disturbing and makes us rethink and re-evaluate our notions of the whole of Western civilisation itself. AS PROMISED IN OUR UGADI WISHES post, we present the inaugural episode of The Dharma Podcast. In this podcast, we expose some carefully hidden truths of the brutal oppression of Hindus, and their miserable plight under the rule of the Nizams of Hyderabad. These are truths of fairly recent history that almost no mainstream book of history or popular narratives will tell you. Quite the contrary. The mention of Hyderabad or its Nizam today evokes only vague memories of the integration of princely states into the Indian Union, Operation Polo, the Nizam's fabulous wealth and similar superficial information. However, truly horrific tales of Hindu persecution are buried beneath all these memories. In reality, the liberation of Hyderabad in 1948 was not only an urgent necessity but an imperative civilisational recovery for the Hindus who formed 87% of the population there.
