Harmony Grillo is a survivor of exploitation turned UCLA honor student. Her goal is to help women and girls entrenched in sexual exploitation find freedom. In 2003, she founded Treasures to support other women in their recovery from the commercial sex industry and trafficking. Harmony's memoir, Scars and Stilettos, details her harrowing account of moving from victim to survivor to liberator. The Asian American Christian Collaborative (AACC) is committed to amplifying the voices, issues, and histories of Asian Americans, both within the church and society at large. Specifically, in this season, they have created a statement titled the “Statement on Anti-Asian Racism in the Time of COVID-19”.
