Was bedeutet der „Leib Christi“ nach dem Neuen Testament wirklich? Die Bibel zeigt ein Gemeindeleben, das sich oft deutlich von heutigen kirchlichen Strukturen unterscheidet: keine formelle Mitgliedschaft, keine menschliche Hierarchie, sondern die Leitung des Heiligen Geistes und ein Zusammenkommen „zu seinem Namen hin“. Ist biblisches Gemeindeleben heute überhaupt noch möglich? Ja – trotz Schwachheit, Zersplitterung und geistlichem Niedergang. Die Christenheit scheint im Chaos zu versinken. Nie hat es so viele christliche Gruppierungen gegeben wie heute. Auch der moralische Zustand in der Christenheit ist katastrophal. Was können wir da tun? Gibt es heute in den letzten Tagen und schweren Zeiten noch einen Weg, um zur Ehre des Herrn und glücklich zu leben? Ja, den gibt es! Und ein Vers hilft sehr diesen Weg zu finden und zu gehen: 2. Timotheus 2,22. Dort lernen wir, dass es etwas gibt vor dem wir fliehen müssen - so schnell und so weit wie möglich weg. Aber was kann das sein? Schaut es euch an!  

Gott hat den Menschen für das Leben und seine Gegenwart geschaffen. Doch der freie Wille, den Gott uns aus Liebe gab, bietet auch die Möglichkeit, sich gegen Gott zu entscheiden. Die Bibel spricht vom Tag des Gerichts am Ende der Zeit. In dieser Predigt schlüsselt Renke auf, nach welchen Maßstäben Gott richtet, was die Konsequenz sein wird und vor allem wer der Richter ist. Gott hat keine Freude an Verdammnis, sondern sein Ziel ist Gerechtigkeit, Wiederherstellung und Heilung. Dabei offenbart er auch das Verborgene. Er richtet nach unseren Taten, aber auch nach den Motiven. Er richtet unsere Worte und die Art, wie wir Barmherzigkeit gezeigt haben. Doch auch das Maß unserer Erkenntnis, das Maß, das wir an andere anlegen und die Erkenntnis unserer eigenen Bedürftigkeit spielt eine Rolle. Kein Mensch würde im Gericht in allen Punkten „unschuldig“ gesprochen werden. Doch Jesus Tod am Kreuz hat unsere Schuld getragen. Durch Gottes Gnade, die wir im Glauben annehmen dürfen, können wir gerechtfertigt vor Gott stehen. Christus spricht uns frei. Doch was ist mit den Menschen, die diese Gnade nicht annehmen? Gottes Ziel ist es, eine neue Welt, ohne das Böse zu schaffen, also muss er das Böse vernichten. Die Bibel spricht von der Hölle als Ort, wo das Böse endgültig unschädlich gemacht wird. Sie wurde ursprünglich nicht für den Menschen gemacht, sondern für Satan und seine Dämonen und alles, was zum Bösen verführt. Doch der Mensch kann sich entscheiden, sich auf die Seite des Bösen zu schlagen und sich für Gottes Gnade zu verschließen. Renke zeigt verschiedene Theorien über die Hölle auf. Werden am Ende vielleicht doch alle Menschen gerettet (Allversöhnung)? Ist die Hölle ewige Qual oder wird der Mensch dort am Ende ausgelöscht, weil er ohne Gott nicht leben kann (Annihilationismus)? Diese Theorien beziehen sich auf verschiedene Bibelverse und ringen mit Gottes Souveränität, seiner Liebe und dem freien Willen den Menschen. Wichtiger als genau zu verstehen, wie es wohl sein wird, ist die Frage: Wer ist der Richter? Nicht wir! Gott allein richtet und sein Urteil ist gerecht. Er ist gut. Jesus ist der Richter und Anwalt. Gottes Herz ist das des Vaters im Gleichnis vom verlorenen Sohn. Er ist mehr als bereit zu vergeben und seine Kinder wieder anzunehmen. Hast du seine Gnade angenommen?

Heute möchte ich alle mit einem froh machenden Vers aus der Bibel grüßen: “Gott hat uns nicht einen Geist der Verzagtheit gegeben, sondern den Geist der Kraft, der Liebe und der Besonnenheit”. Gott redet — aber seine Stimme zu erkennen ist ein Lernprozess. Anhand der Geschichte von Josef zeigt Renke, dass es Gott sehr viel wichtiger ist, WER du bist als WAS du tust. Dein Herz, deinen Charakter zu formen ist Gottes Ziel. Jesus ähnlicher zu werden, ist deine Bestimmung. „Heiligung“ nennt die Bibel das. „Heilig“ bedeutet abgesondert, anders, Gott geweiht zu sein, nicht den Maßstäben der Welt zu folgen, sondern ohne Kompromisse, Gott zu ehren, in allem, was du tust. Anstatt Gott zu fragen „Was soll ich tun?“, frage Gott vielmehr „Zu wem soll ich werden?“.

Sünder sündigen wie Hühner Eier legen oder Schlingpflanzen schlingen: Es ist ihre Natur. Dieser Zustand verwehrt Sündern den Eintritt ins Himmelreich und macht ihnen das Leben schwer. Jesus ist gekommen, um Sünder von ihrer Sündennatur zu befreien. Das heißt: Freiheit von zerstörerischen Gedanken und Gewohnheiten ist möglich! So wird aus dem sadistischen Lästerer, Verfolger und Gewalttäter Saulus der selbstlose, sanftmütige Apostel Paulus. Aus Drogenabhängigen werden Familienväter, aus Frauen mit fragwürdigem Wandel treusorgende Mütter. Aus Verpeilten und Verwirrten und in Zwängen verstrickten werden freie Menschen. Wie? So ermutigt Paulus im 1. Timotheusbrief, Kapitel 6, Vers 12, Timotheus für seinen Dienst und sein Leben. Was das bedeutet hat und für uns heute bedeuten kann, davon werden wir im Gottesdienst hören. Außerdem wollen wir Gott mit Gebeten und Musik die Ehre geben und natürlich auch viel Gemeinschaft erleben. Ich gebe zu, dass der Titel schon ein bisschen reißerisch ist. Aber diese Frage ist mir in den sozialen Medien immer wieder begegnet. Auslöser ist das Geschehen im Nahen Osten und den Krieg rund um Israel und Iran. Aber ganz ehrlich: So gut mancher Content auch ist, gibt es leider einige Äußerungen, die mir ziemlich auf die Nerven gehen, weil sie recht unqualifiziert sind. Mach nicht mit bei der Panikmache! Weihnachten – nicht die einzige, aber eine besondere Gelegenheit, um über die Menschwerdung Gottes nachzudenken. Paulus schreibt an sein Kind im Glauben, an Timotheus, in seinem ersten Brief von einem großen Geheimnis: „Anerkannt groß ist das Geheimnis der Gottesfurcht: Gott ist geoffenbart worden im Fleisch, gerechtfertigt im Geist, gesehen von den Engeln, verkündigt unter den Heiden, geglaubt in der Welt, aufgenommen in die Herrlichkeit“ (1. Timotheus 3 Vers 16).
