Redshirt senior right-hander discusses his first year as the Friday night starter and the highlights of the Gary Henderson's inaugural season as head coach Utah baseball is in the hunt for a Pac-12 Conference Tournament berth and a top-eight finish in the league. With two weeks remaining in the regular season, redshirt senior pitcher Matthew Sox joins the show to talk about the highlights of the season and what has led to his success. Sox, who spent three years at Whitman College, pitched out of the bullpen last season and now is the Friday night starter. He has made 12 starts this year with a 4-3 record and 5.40 ERA. Sox has recorded 54 strikeouts and just 19 walks in 73.1 innings.

Alexia Burch, a super senior from Sparks, Nev., and two-time team captain, is wrapping up her stellar career for the Utah gymnastics team. The three-time All-Pac-12 selection joins this episode of Utes Insider with Mike Lageschulte to look back on her time with the program and preview the NCAA Championships. She also talks about what has helped make Utah a dynamite beam team in recent years. Burch has already captured the Pac-12 vault title and NCAA Regional bars championship in 2022 after not taking up the latter event until last season. She scored three 9.95 scores on vault, bars and beam at the NCAA Regional semifinals.

A four-year starter, Dru Gylten has experienced a lot during her time with the Utah women's basketball program. From playing on a team that was ranked in the Top 25 as a redshirt freshman, to experiencing the struggles of the COVID-19 pandemic, to leading the program to its first Pac-12 Tournament title game and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament this season, the senior point guard from Rapid City, S.D., has been there to experience all of it. Gylten, who ranks top five all-time at Utah in assists, joins the show to look back on her career and look ahead to this Friday's NCAA First Round game against Arkansas.

The two RMISA champion Nordic skiers talk about their Olympic experience with Team USA in Beijing and look ahead to the NCAA Championships Utah is hosting the NCAA Skiing Championships at Park City Mountain Resort and Soldier Hollow March 9-12. Host Mike Lageschulte is joined by Ute Nordic skiers Novie McCabe and Luke Jager to preview the competition. They also look back on a whirlwind couple of months that included racing with the U.S. Olympic team at the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing. Both returned to the Utah team to compete at the RMISA and NCAA West Regional Championships, where McCabe won both women's Nordic events in the freestyle and classical while Jager captured the men's 20K freestyle.

Kelise Davis of track & field and women's basketball player Dasia Young wrap up our Black History Month series with host Steven “Sly” Sylvester As we wrap up the Our Voices Podcast series for Black History Month, host Steven “Sly” Sylvester is joined by Kelise Davis of the track & field program and Dasia Young from women's basketball. Both grew up in predominately white areas and relate experiences of how connecting with members of the Black community helped them feel more comfortable in their skin. Things such as musical tastes, preference hair styles and the way they carried themselves were are times a challenge. The women also discuss influential figures in their lives and how welcoming the Salt Lake and University communities have been to them.

Gymnast Cammy Hall and track & field athlete Maya LeBar visit with host Steven “Sly” Sylvester in a salute to Black History Month During this episode of the Our Voices Podcast, host Steven “Sly” Sylvester is joined by Cammy Hall from gymnastics and Maya LeBar of track & field. The two ladies vocalize the challenges they faced while growing up in predominantly white communities, from finding the right friends to being taught how to deal with police profiling. Both share their favorite figures in Black History and significant moments from their lives. Hall recalls watching the Trayvon Martin murder trial while LeBar talks about how a discussion on current day racial issues brought her Ute team closer together.

Episode 2 Lacrosse players Bryce Cheek and Branden Wilson join O.V.P. host Steven “Sly” Sylvester, discussing moments important to them in Black History. Cheek, from North Carolina, and Wilson, from California, share personal stories of experiencing racism while growing up and explain how racism does not only impact the Black community. Sly leads a discussion on ways we can evolve into a better, more-understanding society, and how simply treating people the way you want to be treated can make an impact.

Episode 1  Former Utah linebacker and current sideline reporter Steven Sylvester debuts his new podcast, Our Voices: Celebrating Black History Month. The show is platform for student-athletes to voice their opinions. In this episode, he is joined by football players Micah Bernard and Clark Phillips. The guys talk about the importance of teaching Black History in schools, experiencing incidents of racism, and the importance of understanding racial conflict and finding ways to educate in the process. They also discuss their favorite elements of Black culture and current racial related issues in our country.

The Red Rocks are primed to make a national title run in 2022. Returning 23 of 24 routines from last year's lineup that lifted them to a third-place finish, including two-time national champion Maile O'Keefe, Utah has also added three gymnasts who made the trip to Tokyo for the Summer Olympics. Head coach Tom Farden joins host Mike Lageschulte to breakdown this year's squad and talk about a major renovation of the Dumke Gymnastics Center, which gets underway this spring.

Seventh-year head coach breaks down a talented 2021-22 team and talks about why she entered the coaching profession Following six years of running the women's basketball program at Utah, Lynne Roberts has made it clear that “it is time for us to pivot to being great.” With eight letter winners and five starters returning from a year ago and four ESPN Top 100 recruits in the program, there are several indicators pointing toward a breakthrough season 2021-22. Roberts joins host Mike Lageschulte on this edition of Utes Insider to breakdown this year's team and its emphasis on shooting threes. She also discusses how she got into coaching.

Stef Jankiewicz was having a great college career at Illinois State, earning Missouri Valley Conference Setter of the Year honors twice. But she wanted something more. The super senior elected to transfer for her last year, looking initially for a place to play beach volleyball, but ended up taking over the setting duties for a nationally-ranked program at Utah. Jankiewicz joins host Mike Lageschulte to talk about No. 16 Utah's season and look ahead to NCAA Tournament play this weekend in Provo.

The fifth-year senior who earned All-Region honors last week looks ahead to seventh-ranked Utah's appearance in the NCAA Championships on Saturday The Utah cross country team is off to the NCAA Championships this Saturday. One individual who has played a major role in the program's success in recent years is fifth-year senior Bella Williams. The native of Digby, England, earned All-Region honors this season and was one of the team's top five runners at the Pac-12 Championships. Williams talks about the Utes' runner-up finish at the Pac-12 meet, their chance for the first top 15 national finish in school history, and her experience at Utah.

Patience has paid off for Cameron Rising. After beginning his college career at Texas, transferring to Utah, suffering a season-ending injury in 2020, and winning the starting job back three games into the 2021 season, the redshirt sophomore has taken command of the Utah offense. On October 9, Rising threw for 306 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-26 win over USC, the program's first ever at Memorial Coliseum. Host Mike Lageschulte visits with Rising about his journey to that moment and his thoughts on the October 16 match-up with Arizona State, Utah's first home game since the passing of Aaron Lowe.

Dani Drews, a senior outside hitter from Brighton High School, is from a family full of accomplished Utes athletes. Her parents were two-sport standouts and two of her bothers played football for the Utes. But Dani might be the best of all of them. Drews is the first two-time First Team All-American in Utah volleyball history, the reigning Pac-12 Conference Player of the Year, and Utah's all-time leader in kills. She joins host Mike Lageschulte to talk about the highlights from her college career and her future plans.

Time for a trip down memory lane with a couple of Utah football standouts from the mid-1980s who have gone on to some unique and impressive careers Former teammates Eddie Johnson, who held the school rushing record for over 30 years, and wide receiver Greg Holder reminisce about their playing days and give us some insight into their current endeavors. Johnson, a two-time honorable mention All-American who rushed for 3,219 yards from 1984-88, has turned his focus to humanitarian projects and mentoring small business owners and athletes in recent years. Holder, who played for the Utes from 1985-86 and spent a couple of years in the NFL with the Raiders, has built a highly-successful business creating glass work of athletes and entertainers.

The long-time Stanford assistant coach talks about his plan for the Utah program Hideki Nakada is his first season as the Utah soccer head coach. During the episode of Utes Insider, he joins host Mike Lageschulte to talk about what drew him to Utah, his coaching influences and philosophies, and his goals for the Utah program. Nakada comes to Utah after spending the last seven seasons as an assistant and associate head coach at Stanford. In his seven years on The Farm, Nakada helped guide the Cardinal to National Championships in 2017 and 2019, and five-consecutive Pac-12 Championships from 2015-19. He has also worked as an assistant coach at Idaho State, Marquette and Oregon.

The five-time All-American recently placed sixth in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the U.S. Olympic Trials. Distance runner Grayson Murphy, a five-time All-American in two years at Utah, recently competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the U.S. Olympic Trials. During this episode of Utes Insider, Murphy talks about her chase to make the Olympic Team and looks back at her collegiate career. Murphy recorded the two best times of her career in the steeplechase at the Olympic Trials, winning her heat in the prelims and placing sixth in the final, coming up short of advancing to the Summer Games.

After recording the highest individual finish by a Ute golfer at Regionals, the junior is off to the national tournament   Ute junior golfer Tristan Mandur is on his way to the NCAA Championships, playing May 28-June 2 at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. He joins the show to preview the championships, reflect on the season, and talk about the highlights of his Utah career. Mandur, a native of Mill Bay, British Columbia, became the third Utah golfer to qualify for NCAAs as an individual since 1990 and has the best Regional finish since that time by tying for fourth. The Ute golf team became the first Utah team to qualify for regionals since 1992, where it tied for seventh place.

Former U.S. National Team member talks about her time with the Red Rocks as well as her International Elite career   Gymnast Maile O’Keefe, who was the 2021 Pac-12 Conference all-around champion and claimed national titles on bars and floor, joins host Mike Lageschulte for this edition of Utes Insider. O’Keefe looks back at her sophomore year, when she helped lead the Red Rocks to the Pac-12 regular-season and post-season titles and a third-place finish at nationals. She also talks about her pre-Utah career, when she was a three-year member of the U.S. National Team and won a pair of P&G national all-around titles.

Third-year Director of Skiing discusses the key performances from Utah’s 2021 National Title run.  It has been a great start to the Utah coaching career for Director of skiing Fredrik Landstedt, who has led Utes to two NCAA titles in two opportunities. This episode features his conversation with host Mike Lageschulte from the Athletics-Alumni Association Virtual Huddle on April 16. Landstedt looks back at Utah’s championship run and the people who made it happen. The team had nine podium finishes and 16 All-Americans at the NCAAs, led by two individual women’s Nordic titles by Sydney Palmer-Ledger. Utah scored 554 points to defeat second-place Colorado by 31.5 points.

The 17th year head coach discusses this year’s team, the south end zone stadium project and the Ty Jordan Memorial Scholarship Fund Kyle Whittingham’s football team recently concluded spring drills. The Ute head coach dropped by the Virtual Huddle co-hosted by Utah Athletics and the U Alumni Association on April 16, and we wanted to give you another opportunity to catch the interview. Whittingham breaks down this year’s personnel on both sides of the ball and discusses the quarterback position battle that will stretch into the fall. He also talks about the death of Ty Jordan and the scholarship fund established

The Utah volleyball team earned the No. 14 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament with a 13-4 record. Junior setter Saige Ka’aha’aina-Torres joins host Mike Lageschulte on this edition of Utes Insider to look back on the season and look ahead to the tournament in Omaha, Neb. The Hawaii native also talks about why she felt Utah was the perfect place to play college volleyball and some things she did during the extended off season to help develop the mental side of her game. Ka’aha’a’ina-Torres has had one of the best seasons of any setter in the Pac-12 this year, leading the league with 10.52 assists per set. She is also the only setter ranked in the top 10 in the conference with 3.16 digs per set.

Freshman from Park City looks back on winning two titles at the 2021 NCAA Championships  Becoming just the 12th skier in school history to win two races at nationals, freshman Nordic skier Sydney Palmer-Leger joins host Mike Lageschulte on this edition of Utes Insider to look back on her amazing performance at the 2021 NCAA Championships. After winning the 5-km classic during the first Nordic competition, Palmer-Leger came out strong again on the final day to capture the 15-km freestyle by 24 seconds. In the process, she helped lead Utah skiing to its 14th national title. Brian Holman is in his fifth season overall as Utah’s lacrosse head coach and third at the Division I level. He dropped by the March Virtual Huddle that Ute Athletics co-hosted with the U Alumni Association on March 5, and we wanted to share this interview with you. Holman talks about the growth of the program, Utah’s new conference affiliation with the A-SUN beginning in 2022, his five-year plan for the Utes to reach the NCAA Championship, and how he ended up leaving North Carolina to take the head job at Utah in 2016.

Rich Manning has built the Ute soccer program into a consistent winner, leading the team to eight NCAA Tournament appearances and 188 wins in 18 seasons. During this edition of Utes Insider, Manning joins Mike Lageschulte to look ahead to the spring season and talk about the challenges he and the players in the Ute program have faced over the past year. Manning also shares stories about the coaches and players he has worked with who have had an influence on his career and looks back on the highlights of his career at Utah, which included a trip to the Sweet 16 in 2016.

Utah Athletics is celebrating Black History Month in February. During this edition of Utes Insider, we turn the show over to four Ute student-athletes who are part of U.T.A.H. group, which stands for United Together Against Hate. They have participated in a reading of “Between the World and Me” by Ta-Nehisi Coates. The book is written as a letter to the author's teenage son about the feelings, symbolism and realities associated with being Black in the United States. Discussing the book are Haley Farrar of soccer, Maya Lebar from track & field, football player Miki Suguturaga and Zoe Weatherington of volleyball.

Tom Farden is in his sixth year as a head coach with the Red Rocks, who are ranked No. 4 in the nation and favored to win the Pac-12 Conference Championship. Farden joins Mike Lageschulte for a lengthy conversation about this year’s team and plans to expand the Dumke Gymnastics Center in the coming years. He also tells the story of how Greg and Megan Marsden recruited him an assistant coach 11 years ago with the idea that could eventually take over the program.

As she enters her 31st season as the head coach of the Utah volleyball program, Beth Launiere has also become an author. During COVID-19 pandemic, Launiere and Leo Hopf wrote “Stop Competing and Start Winning: The Business of Coaching.” Launiere drops by the show to discuss her new book and preview the upcoming season. The Utes are ranked No. 10 in the AVCA poll, their highest preseason ranking in school history. Utah returns three All-Americans from a team that went 24-10 and reached the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2019.

As an All-Mountain West Conference safety from 2005-07, Steve Tate was Utah’s top tackler his last two seasons and led the Utes to three bowl victories. Today, he and his wife, Savanna, are making a difference in the Salt Lake community by running the Hayes Tough Foundation, named after their infant son who died from cancer in 2016. Steve joins host Mike Lageschulte on this edition of Utes Insider to look back on his playing career at Utah as well as talk about the work his family’s foundation is doing to provide financial support and hope to families afflicted by pediatric cancer.

As we gear up for the start of the Pac-12 football season, Mike Lageschulte catches up with former Utah and NFL wide receiver Kevin Dyson on this edition of Utes Insider. Dyson, who was a two-time first-team All-WAC selection for the Utes from 1994-97, remains Utah’s all-time leader in receptions and was a first-round draft pick by the Tennessee Titans in 1998. He played in two Super Bowls during his six-year NFL career, but is perhaps best known for taking part in some of the most memorable plays in the history of the Utes and the NFL. Dyson discusses the stories behind those plays during the show.

An All-Mountain West Conference safety on Utah’s 2008 Sugar Bowl team, Robert Johnson is now helping other former student-athletes as a professional development mentor. Johnson joins Mike Lageschulte on this edition of Utes Insider presented by Pepsi to look back at how he joined the Ute program as an under-recruited athlete from the junior college ranks, developed into an impact defensive player with 13 interceptions in three years at the U, and went on to play three years in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans.

Ever wonder how certain traditions were created? During this edition of Utes Insider presented by Pepsi, the stories of two recent Utah Athletics traditions, the MUSS and flashing the U, are told firsthand by men behind them. John Fackler worked for the U Alumni Association from 2000-18, but he might be best known as the Godfather of the MUSS. The phenomenon of flashing the U exploded after Utah’s 2009 Sugar Bowl win over Alabama. However, its creation didn’t even involve the Ute football team. Rather, it was born out of promise made by loyal Utah fan John Bircumshaw to the father of a gymnast.

Even without football games, there will be a lot of activity this fall at Rice-Eccles Stadium as work continues on the Ken Garff Performance Zone south end zone project. To give us an update on the construction time frame and seating options available, Sean Farrell, Director of the Crimson Club, and Austin McCormick, General Manager for Legends Global Sales at the University of Utah, join this week’s edition of Utes Insider presented by Pepsi.

Former two-time honorable mention all-conference linebacker Mike Wright joins this edition of Utes Insider presented by Pepsi to look back at his career from 2006-09, which included Utah’s undefeated Sugar Bowl season in 2008. Wright, a native of Bountiful, Utah, led Utah in tackles in 2008 and was second on the team in 2009. During the podcast, Wright talks about what made the Utes’ defense so dominant in 2008 and how they were able to shut down an Alabama team that was ranked No.1 in the nation for five weeks in the Sugar Bowl.

A lot has happened around the Pac-12 Conference in recent weeks, headlined by the postponement of athletics competition until January 1. To gain some perspective on what this means for Utah Athletics and the entire conference, Yogi Roth, football analyst for the Pac-12 Networks, joins host Mike Lageschulte for this edition of Utes Insider presented by Pepsi. Roth also gives his perspective on the Utah football program’s growth since it joined the league in 2011 and what has allowed Kyle Whittingham to have sustained success at Utah.

As Utah’s head coach from 1990-2002, Ron McBride turned the Utah football program into a consistent winner and laid the foundation for even greater successes in the years to come. He directed the Utes to 88 wins, six bowl appearances and a pair of conference championships.

It has been a challenging four and a half months for student-athletes since the Pac-12 Conference cancelled competition for the remainder of the spring due to the coronavirus. Within days of the league’s announcement on March 12, the Utah campus was closed to students. A sense of normalcy finally returned on June 15, when a portion of the Utes were allowed to come back for voluntary off-season workouts. Dani Drews from volleyball, Haley Farrar from soccer and Nick Ford from football share how their lives have been impacted mentally, physically and socially by the coronavirus pandemic.

Utah assistant lacrosse coach Will Manny joins Mike Lageschulte for this edition of Utes Insider presented by Pepsi. Manny, as well as other Ute coaches Marcus Holman and Adam Ghitelman, will play in the Premier Lacrosse League Championship Series from July 25-August 9 at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah.   Manny, who plays for Archers LC, talks about his preparations for the PLL tournament, which included finding creative ways to work out during coronavirus pandemic. He also looks back at his college career at the University of Massachusetts and his decision to coach under Brian Holman at Utah. Manny also talks at length about the growth of the Ute lacrosse program, which is entering its third year at the NCAA Division I level.

During our interview, Fife looks back at some of the early days of his life in baseball, which included a trip to the Little League World Series. After not receiving much interest from Division I teams coming out of high school, Fife started his collegiate career at Everett Community College north of Seattle. He joined the Utes for his sophomore season in 2007, going 6-2 with a 4.43 ERA and 53 strikeouts in 63 innings. As a junior in 2008, Fife went 7-5 with a 3.72 ERA and a team-high 78 strikeouts in 92 innings. In our conversation, Fife recalls pitching in college against eventual No. 1 draft pick Stephen Strasburg of San Diego State in 2008, and how his performance that night in front of nearly 40 professional scouts raised his profile heading into the 2008 MLB Draft.

During this edition of Utes Insider presented by Pepsi, Holly Daugirda joins Mike Lageschulte to look back on leading the Ute women’s soccer team to a pair of NCAA Tournament berths during her career from 2016-19, including the first Sweet 16 appearance in school history. She also talks about playing for her current team, the Utah Royals FC of the National Women’s Soccer League.

Rev. France Davis has worked with the Utah football team since the early 2000s, is an emeritus adjunct professor at the University of Utah, and was the pastor for Calvary Baptist Church for 46 years before retiring last December. Since moving to Salt Lake City in the early 1970s, Davis has fought numerous battles on behalf of Utah’s black community. Part of our conversation with Rev. Davis will be about his time at the U, the other portion will center on his life experiences, which have provided him with unparalleled perspective on the issues caused by social injustice and racial inequality. He also offers great insight on what people can do to be a positive influence during these challenging times.

As the point guard for the Runnin’ Utes from 2002-06, Tim Drisdom was a part of three Mountain West Conference championships and a run to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2005. During this episode of Utes Insider, Drisdom shares his insights on what made those teams so great, as well as his memories of playing for head coach Rick Majerus and alongside Andrew Bogut, who was the 2005 National Player of the Year.   Following a professional basketball career from 2007-10, Drisdom moved back to Salt Lake City to become a high school basketball coach and pursue two of his other passions in his life: religion and music. Drisdom currently serves as the musical director for The Point Church and the Salt Lake City Mass Choir. He recently released a song with his brother Terrence, who performs under the name ERNE, entitled “Hold On,” which aims to provide an inspirational message during these challenging times. During Utah’s run to the NCAA Regional Semifinals in 2004-05, he ranked sixth in the Mountain West by averaging 3.21 assists per game and led the league with a 1.95 assist-to-turnover ratio. Utah was 92-38 with a .708 winning percentage during his four-year career.   After college, Drisdom played in Finland, China and Mexico. He has also competed in The Basketball Tournament in recent years in the United States. On a bus while playing in China in 2010, Drisdom says God spoke to him saying, “Give this up for me, and I’ll take care of you.” It was that moment when he decided to choose his current path in life. Drisdom came back to the U to earn his bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies in 2015. He was an assistant basketball coach at Murray High School for four years before becoming the athletics director and basketball coach Intermountain Christian School, where he has spent the past two years.

Emily Potter joins Mike Lageschulte to talk about her time with the Ute women’s basketball team, what drew her to Utah from Canada, her professional playing career and Europe, and new book she has produced to help adults maintain good mental health.

Our second month of Utes Insider presented by Pepsi begins with Hannah Flippen, a two-time Pac-12 Conference Player of the Year in softball who is vying for a spot on Team USA for the Tokyo Summer Olympics.   The first three-time All-American in school history looks back on her career at Utah, which included three trips to the NCAA Tournament and back-to-back Super Regional appearances in 2016 and 2017. Flippen also talks about her playing experience with the U.S. National Team, which dates back to 2017. She earned a roster spot for the 2020 Olympics, which has been pushed back to July and August of 2021.

For the second straight Friday, Utah football season ticket holders were treated to a live session with a member of the coaching staff on May 15. This time, offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig joined host Mike Lageschulte, and we are making the interview available in its entirety. Ludwig breaks down the offensive personnel, including a remaking of the backfield with all-time leading rusher Zack Moss moving on to the NFL and the three candidates who will compete to replace Tyler Huntley at quarterback. Ludwig also talks about the evolution of his offensive philosophies over the years and what brought him back to Utah, where he worked previously from 2005-08.

With May being Mental Health Awareness Month and the challenges facing everyone during the coronavirus pandemic, we invited Jonathan Ravarino, the director of psychology and wellness for Utah Athletics, to join the program. Since Jonathan came on board in 2015, Utah has experienced tremendous growth in its mental health initiatives for student-athletes and staff. Those resources have become even more valuable since the collegiate athletics season was shut down in mid-March and student-athletes and were unexpectedly sent home. Jonathan and his staff have been working diligently to help everyone in the Utah Athletics family maintain good mental health during these trying times and prepare for what’s ahead. He also offers some great advice to help everyone navigate the challenges of the current pandemic.

Utah defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley joined Mike Lageschulte for a live session with football season ticket holders on Friday, May 8 and we have the interview available in its entirety. Morgan talks about how the Ute players and players and staff have been preparing for the upcoming season during the coronavirus shutdown. He breaks down the personnel in this year’s defensive unit and talked about the player taken in the recent NFL Draft. A former Utah team captain during the 2004 Fiesta Bowl season, Morgan looks back at what made that team so successful and the impact that season had on the future of the program.

The second installment of “Utes Insider” presented by Pepsi features former Ute national champion gymnast and current stunt performer Kristina Baskett.   Mike Lageschulte talks to Kristina about her gymnastics career, which started at the age of two and culminated with 12 All-America awards and an NCAA bars title with the Red Rocks. She also tells us how she transitioned to the entertainment business with the help of a former rival college coach, dives deep into her time as a stunt double on HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and gives a preview of her upcoming project “Stargirl.” Kristina, who is married to former Ute football player John Peel, also looks ahead to becoming a mother.

In the debut episode of the “Utes Insider” podcast presented by Pepsi, Mike Lageschulte interviews Donny Daniels about Utah men’s basketball’s run to the 1998 NCAA Final Four. Daniels, who was an assistant coach under Rick Majerus from 1990-2000, shares some great stories about the players who made the 1997-98 team so special and relives the big moments of the team’s run through March Madness. He also provides insight on what made the Utah program so successful during that era. Daniels, who now serves as Utah’s director of player development, also gives an update on how the current Runnin’ Utes are dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
