All of us have trust issues, this is just an in your face discussion of those issues! Don't sweep it away, experience it, own it and move on. I discuss how I was "creating an exterior Audrey that was supposed to fill the interior Audrey" and how that doesn't work. More importantly, why it doesn't work and how that is where we are right now, trying to fill the inside from the outside. And best of all, I offer up some solutions and things to do to teach yourself to fish. Thanks for tuning in, leave me a message, share and subscribe! Episode 116 This may be one of my very favorite interviews. Partly because I know Gabbi in real life, partly because I have eaten at her restaurant (the pie is to die for! Can't wait to try the BBQ). Mostly though, it is because she is a serial entrepreneur who has not only had multiple businesses in different industries, crazy different, and has expanded and gained in each iteration of her journey. In business and in herself. Gabbi's life theme is so evident throughout her story, I don't even ask what it is, you know. She offers a balance of feminine softness and kindness with the masculine know how of money and business acumen. Fantastic woman and I know you will love her as much as I do. Gabbi Rose is a native to Southern California, and a recent Venice Beach ex-pat to the Coachella Valley in Southern California. She is learning to love life in the magical desert landscape. For Gabbi, the desert has been a personal healing refuge from “city life”. It brought solitude and reflection, away from what was "the busy life". Gabbi started in high school as a server, worked every position in the industry, went off to college, and had children. She has been a puppeteer, a CEO and an Entrepreneur, and is happiest when she gets to wait tables. Gabbi finds pleasure in surprises. Loves roadside diners: she likes to order Biscuits and Gravy, BBQ, and Pie as she passes through towns. The Sugarloaf Cafe is Gabbi’s idea of a perfect surprise- they make great food & offer kind service, in the middle of nowhere. Find The Sugarloaf Cafe on IG and FB, find The Green Door on IG.

Episode 114 I think one of my favorite parts of this episode with Emily Stulmen Klein is that moment of realizing you are choosing your life. Emily's realization and subsequent lessons and life choices are the epitome of recognition of your own responsibility in your own life. Not only that, she is so much fun, raucous and irreverent. My favorite type! Emily Stulman Klein, founder of Live a Joyful Life, is a Joyologist (positivity expert + joyful life coach), author and chef. Emily’s 25 years of experience in personal development and fulfillment have made her an authority on helping women (and heart-centered men) to stop comparing and start living even when life doesn’t look like the brochure. Emily works with clients both live and virtually, one to one and in groups. Emily lives in Montclair, NJ with her 12 year old daughter, their large brown dog and small gray bunny. You can find Emily here and Facebook.
Episode 113 Welcome in to the newest segment of Women are the Journey! I am so excited to share with you the toe dipping in the water of the Expert's Series. I am going to dip that toe in with my new Resident Expert; Judith Reitz. This is a series scheduled to become a regular part of the podcast for season 3 next year! To start us off, Judith Reitz, will be in the room discussing the main themes of the problems that arise working as a woman entrepreneur. This week, she will be discussing Fear of Success. We hear a lot about the fear of failure and while that is a thing, the bigger issue, in my opinion, is the fear of success. It holds us back and weighs on us and keeps us from being all that we can be. Judith takes apart what success means, how we define it and then comes the big questions; do we really want it? Does it give us fulfillment? Judith provides us with her favorite quote on the subject: There is only one success - to be able to spend your life in your own way. ~ Christopher Morley Judith Reitz, M.A. (Rev), founder of Soul's Destiny Mentorship, has taught thousands of people self-processing tools to facilitate inner growth and the healing of body, mind and spirit. With 50 years experience in holistic therapies she has an extensive background in Psychosynthesis, Holodynamics, Clinical Hypnosis, Guided Imagery, the psychodynamics of health-threatening conditions & weight and body issues. She is a Reiki Master and is experienced in mind-body dynamics, Cranial-sacral and Somato-Emotional Release therapies. Judith has integrated the creative process of Journaling, Drawing, Imagery and Visualization, Art, Reiki, Music and Movement, and Holodynamics into a unique process designed to unblock creative and intuitive gifts. Her rich transpersonal background brings a mulit-dimensional approach uniquely designed for each person's needs. To contact Judith, please email her at soulcraftcoach@gmail.com or call or text her at 714-742-1133. She offers a free discovery call.
Episode 112 Oh my goodness! The actual goodness from this interview with Dr. Judy Butler is incredible. She offers up an End of Life Manuel for adult children of aging parents. Dr. Judy Butler is a certified Pastoral Psychotherapist in private practice, who consults with, counsels and coaches Adult Children of Aging Parents, members of the “Sandwich Generation”, Caregivers, and Senior Adults interested in 2nd half and end of life planning. Judy is a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, a certified Spiritual Director, ordained clergy, a speaker, and a teacher with years of experience and many thousands of hours of practical application. Her passion for working with senior adults and their adult children and caregivers grew out of her own experiences as a caregiver for her parents, congregational pastor for senior adults, and as a hospital chaplain for many years. After personally enduring the trauma, stress, and frustration of dealing with the healthcare/nursing home system she created The Guardians Gift in memory of her father, Harvey Hill who died 12/26/2018. Welcome into the highlights! In case you are unfamiliar, Peek Under the Skirt is an ongoing series of fun, interesting, thoughtful and hilarious questions I ask each of my guests after their Story of the Shift. I started out with some simple questions that I found on the internets. Some of you might recognize them when you hear them. The fun thing is, we, my son and I, came up with a set of 30 questions that I mix and match for each woman who sits in the room with me. These questions are much more reflective of me and I love them all! It was hard to narrow it down to a few but here they all are! Jo Tucker, Stasha Washburn, Whitedove Gannon, Lorna Hollinger, Jessica Elizabeth Opert, Alison Armstrong, Elaine Bogard-Lopez, Christine Watts, and Julia McGarey. I have been interviewing women for a few months so I have a backlog of episodes, 21 in fact! They will ALL be available at my patreon at the Freyja tier. We have so much fun during these interviews and I know you will love them too. I offer up a highlight reel of some of the fun I have had in the last several months.

Episode 101 And now for the rest of this brilliant interview with Alison Armstrong! In case you missed part 1, go here
Episode 100 Welcome into episode 100 ladies and gentlemen! I am very excited to share with you a very special guest for my 100th. I have in the room with me Alison Armstrong! I have been a fan for over 10 years and have several of her programs and am a fan of listening to her on Dennis Prager's radio program. Alison is a boatload of fun and she is a hoot. One of my favorite quotes of the interview is: My idiot is sitting in the lap of my savant or our blind spot is right next to our brilliance. This is the first time I am going to split up an interview as I wanted to make sure no one missed anything Alison talks about. She digs deep and shares large. Enjoy part one with Alison Armstrong. Alison Armstrong’s exploration of human behavior began in 1991, with her decision to study men, “To find out how I was bringing out the worst in them. And hopefully, how to bring out the best.” Her success in understanding men naturally led to studying women’s behavior and making vital connections between the two. Armstrong distinguishes human instincts that compel both men and women to behave in ways that contradict and undermine our own purposes, goals, values, needs and relationships. She offers partnership-based alternatives giving millions of people access to more fulfilling lives, loving relationships, stronger families and productive organizations. Armstrong is a sought-after speaker and thought-leader amongst people with the desire to live empowered lives. Alison’s philosophy and approach is frequently referenced and taught by other authors, speakers, business consultants and therapists. Information about Alison’s work is available at understandmen.com. Here is the link to part 2 of Alison Armstrong!
