What if your child remembered a past life? What if the things they say aren't just imagination… but wisdom carried across lifetimes? In this heartfelt and mind-expanding episode, I sit down with my beautiful friend Amy Molloy, journalist, award-winning author, ghostwriter, and the brilliant mind behind the book Wise Child (published by Hay House, March 2025).Amy and I dive deep into what it means to parent the new generation of intuitive, emotionally attuned children who are showing up in this world with powerful memories, deep sensitivity, and soul-level wisdom.Amy shares the remarkable journey that led her to write Wise Child, including her own children's experiences with past life memories, energy sensitivity, and the unseen emotional layers so many kids carry. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll get goosebumps (I got them more times than I can count during this convo!), and you'll come away with a beautiful permission slip to parent with more softness, curiosity, and deep belief in your child's wisdom.
Outed for failing to pay taxes, Christian Carter didn't issue a public apology. He didn't offer an explanation. Instead, he turned his sights on the journalist who reported the truth. Amy Molloy and I agree, there's no five easy steps to virtually anything. Might be five hard steps. Or twenty-six. Or five easy and five hard. Might take you a month and me, a decade. The point is, different things work for different people. Whether it's grieving, getting in shape, making money, communication, growing a brand, reducing anxiety, a relationship model, lifestyle or even, hosting a podcast! My best job might be your worst nightmare. Your easy run might be my torture session. And your favourite meditation practice might give me anxiety! I loved this chat with the deep-thinking, incredibly articulate, super-smart (it's all true) story-teller that is, Amy Molloy. Amy is a journalist, editor and award-winning author who produces uplifting content for the biggest names in global publishing. Enjoy. The SpaceSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

At the age of 23, Amy Molloy found herself widowed just three weeks after her wedding day. For me, the mere thought of being married at such a young age is difficult to fathom, let alone facing the profound grief that accompanied her devastating loss. Amy persevered and found solace in her process of coping, which eventually became the foundation of her candid memoir, 'Wife Interrupted.' A book which not only garnered her validation and praise but also invited its share of criticism. More importantly, it marked the beginning of her profound relationship with writing and the healing power of storytelling. Today, Amy is celebrated as an award-winning journalist, editor, author, and podcast writer. She crafts uplifting content for some of the most prominent names in global publishing, drawing from her personal and professional experiences. Amy seamlessly integrates these experiences to inspire and coach others, guiding them to put their stories down on paper. Her philosophy revolves around writing from wounds and editing from scars, a mantra that resonates deeply with me, especially given my own encounters with storytelling through conversations on this very show. In our conversation, we delve into Amy's journey, exploring the lessons she learned, the growth she experienced, and the silver linings she discovered during turbulent times. She is AH-MAZING! Hi mamas. In this episode, I'm joined by Amy Molloy, an award-winning journalist, editor, author and podcast writer, who produces content for some of the biggest names in global publishing. She is the writer behind the hit podcast, The Space, and as well as writing her own content, she coaches writers through her program -The Book Writing Remedy. In addition to her journalistic work, she is also a qualified counsellor, with advanced studies in grief and loss counselling, child development and effective parenting, and mindfulness-based therapies. She uses this knowledge to write trauma-informed content, with the focus of her work being on storytelling for healing. In this conversation, we discuss Amy's evolving perception of her own success since becoming a mother, how this has been challenged along the way, and how it's led to a redefining of what success means to her in this new phase of her life. We discuss the way parenthood inevitably changes you, and how it's through embracing this change, rather than resisting it, that you can then harness the many strengths that are nurtured through this role. We also discuss the importance of being recognised as your whole self, including your identity as a ‘mother' within the workplace and professional life, and owning this boldly rather than downplaying this.Amy also shares her lived experience of how being a mother has, in many ways, shaped her career for the better and to more fulfilling ends, and how being a mother has created a softening in her, which has been an asset to the work that she does. We also touch on grief, the fragility of life, and how this relates to parenthood. I so enjoyed speaking to Amy and I hope you get the same value from her perspectives as I did.
