We wanted to have a little bit of fun with this bonus episode. Nathan and David are both big NFL fans and with the NFL season starting this past week, we thought it would be fun to do a fantasy football draft, but with Bible characters. Ground rules: Each team needed a QB, RB, WR, TE, and DEF and all the members of Trinity were not available for drafting (because whoever drafted 2 out of 3 would auto-win). Hope you enjoy!
In Matthew 15, we find a story of a Canaanite woman who seeks healing for her daughter. We will explore her struggles, her persistence, and her joy of discovering God for herself.

Continuing with our study of Great Bible Characters, Dr. Mitchell shows us Joshua, a servant of the Lord, a warrior for the Lord. We first find Joshua in Exodus with Moses. The war with Amalek points out where Moses is on the mountain in prayer and Joshua is in the valley with the sword. Then later, in the book of Joshua, after Moses was dead, Joshua met the captain of the Hosts of the Lord, the pre-incarnate Son of God, Jesus Christ Himself, and He worshipped Him. Dr. Mitchell brings out the fact that the Lord Jesus is Himself now praying and interceding for each of us who know Him. He gains the victory, so we can enjoy the deliverance. Here is Dr. Mitchell on the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast with the Bible Character, Joshua. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/unchanging-word/message
Joshua 1:5-6 “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.“ The story of Joshua can be found in Exodus 17, 24, 32, 33; Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua and Judges 1:1-2:23
In this lesson the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast continues looking at the Bible Character of Noah, the man who found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time. Do you want to be righteous and blameless in your generation? You can be. It is as simple as placing your faith in God's provision, Jesus Christ. When you trust in Christ, God see's you as righteous and blameless in the eyes of the LORD. Can you refuse this secure assurance? Dr. Mitchell speaks on the life of Noah, who walked with God as found in Genesis 6, 1st Peter 2 and 2nd Peter 3. If you had fun in last week's episode, you're in luck! Hunter and Kelsey are back! In this episode, we each assemble a team of Bible Characters through a draft. Listen as Kyle doesn't let God on his team until the very last pick. You'll get to vote for which person you think drafted the best team in a poll that will be posted in the near future.

Part one of our Bible Character's series saw Emma Cooksley bring the story of ‘the woman with the issue of bleeding' from Mark 5:25-34. Jesus causes her to go from being hopeless to being faithful, he gives her the name of ‘my daughter' so she goes from being unnamed to being named. Emma also explained how the issue she had, would have lead her to being considered 'unclean' within the culture at the time; however, Jesus changed her uncleanliness into worthiness.
