In this powerful episode, Joseph sits down with a trailblazing clinical psychologist, international speaker, and leading advisor whose life's work is rewriting the cultural narrative around mental health and healing. So many of us are feeling disconnected, lonely, and unsure of how to build meaningful support, and if you struggle with anxiety, panic disorder, or agoraphobia, this can feel even more intense. In this episode, I'm joined by writer, poet, and integrative health coach Casey Molina for a heartfelt and eye-opening conversation about the role true community plays in our mental and emotional well-being.We talk about the difference between having friends and having community, why connection can feel so hard (or even inconvenient), and how our culture of individualism and instant gratification impacts our ability to show up for ourselves and others.Whether you're craving deeper connection or simply wondering why loneliness feels so heavy these days, this conversation will help you feel seen, and remind you that you're not alone in feeling this way.We chat about:The difference between friendships and real communityWhy community can feel so hard to build (especially when you're anxious)The emotional toll of isolation and how it fuels anxietyWhy small, intentional steps can help you start building meaningful supportWhat you have to offer others, and how giving can be healingThe role of vulnerability, self-compassion, and unlearning in creating connectionHow to move from craving community to actually creating itCHECK OUT MY PRIVATE AHP COMMUNITY: https://www.ahealthypush.com/communityTAKE MY FREE QUIZ AND FIND OUT WHAT'S CAUSING YOU TO STAY STUCK: https://www.ahealthypush.com/blocking-quizA HEALTHY PUSH INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/ahealthypush/GET THIS EPISODE'S SHOW NOTES: https://www.ahealthypush.com/post/craving-connection-why-community-is-so-vital-to-your-mental-health-with-casey-molina
A conversation with Henna Maria on plant medicine, spiritual sovereignty, and the fight for authentic healingThe psychedelic renaissance is here—but are we losing the soul of the medicine in the process? In this powerful episode, I sit down with Henna Maria, human rights activist and founder of Dawn of Peace, to explore one of the most critical conversations of our time: the difference between sacred ceremony and clinical commodification in psychedelic healing.Henna brings a rare perspective—12 years living with indigenous communities in Peru, direct experience with plant medicine traditions, and unflinching activism on the frontlines of medical freedom. Her message is urgent: we're at a crossroads where the pharmaceutical industry threatens to strip the spirit from these sacred medicines, just as they did with cannabis. What You'll DiscoverThe Sacred vs. The SyntheticWhy context matters more than compound—and how the Western medical model fundamentally misunderstands what these medicines are for.The Real Risks of "Democratized" PsychedelicsFrom spiritual attachments to energetic parasites—what happens when you open your consciousness without proper protection and guidance.Ancestral Wisdom Meets Modern HealingHow Henna's journey from European activism to Amazonian apprenticeship led her back to Finland to revive her own cultural roots.Beyond Individual HealingWhy true regeneration requires moving from personal transformation to collective cultural revival—and what that looks like in practice. The Stakes Are Higher Than You ThinkThis isn't just about psychedelics. It's about spiritual sovereignty—our right to connect directly with the divine without corporate intermediaries. It's about honoring indigenous wisdom instead of extracting and commodifying it. It's about understanding that healing isn't a product you consume, but a sacred relationship you cultivate. As Henna puts it: "When you take an entheogenic, you put a red light on in the spirit world saying 'Hello, I'm here.' If you don't have a ceremonial space to protect you, you're wide open and all manner of things can jump in."A Call to Conscious ActionWhether you're curious about plant medicine, already walking this path, or simply care about the future of healing, this conversation will challenge you to think deeper about:* What makes medicine truly sacred vs. merely therapeutic* How to honor indigenous wisdom without appropriating it* The role of ceremony, community, and cultural context in healing* Why the fight for medical freedom is ultimately spiritualThis is regenerative culture in action—where we invite you to discover new/ancient ways of living that not only heals the self but it also benefits all life. Happy Satiated Saturday! Something I've noticed in any body image healing exploration is how private body image concerns are. About 84% of women struggle with body image, yet something so prevalent is often kept hidden. I wonder what could change if how hard it is to live in a body could be openly discussed and supported, where conversations could look like: Person 1: How are you today?Person 2: I'm actually having a really hard time with my body image today.Person 1: Thanks for letting me know. I struggle a lot too. Is there anything you need in this experience today? I want to normalize body image struggles because I sense this might be the first step toward changing the conversations around living in a body. Rather than beginning with body acceptance or body love, sometimes you first just need to be with that, sometimes, because of a million different reasons, it is hard to be in your body and to like the way your body looks. Dr Leandra Brady-Walker, the Institute's resident Medical Intuitive, and I discuss the evolving role of intuitive teachers and healers in an age of AI. Leandra shares her journey from a successful chiropractic practice to becoming a medical intuitive in Portugal, and the importance of lived experience and deep knowledge. We explore the potential of AI in diagnosis, noting its limitations and benefits in treating the person. We are delving into the concepts of genius, originality, finding our unique voice and energetic signature, and how easily we can lose these qualities when we hand over our work to AI. But, it's not all bad news for AI. The accuracy of AI as a diagnostic tool far exceeds what humans can achieve alone. But diagnosis is just the beginning. If you're a healer, therapist, spiritual teacher or practitioner or body worker interested in the role of AI in your service, you don't want to miss this rich conversation. In this episode, we discuss:The need for authentic, lineage-based teaching and healingThe radical role of healers as teachersThe importance of teachers being willing to evolve, challenge students, and embrace the discomfort of growth rather than adhering to the falsehood of 'perfection'About LeandraI was born in Sri Lanka, raised in Australia and currently live in Portugal. I am trying really hard to learn Portuguese, but after 1 year I can only order at the shops and cafes. My heritage is Tamil and Portuguese. My grandmother was an Ayurvedic healer but practised as a nurse. Just like her, I pursued a career in Chiropractic as a "legitimate" healer. I love to sing and have won awards for my voice, so if you work with me, I can guarantee you will hear me sing in the form of chanting matra. I have practised in Dublin, Darwin, Ballarat and Tavira. I have won a business award, written 3 books (you can download my ebook here), started multiple businesses, including a paleo birthday cake business and a chiropractic marketing agency, moved countries (twice) and states (three times) and mothered 2 amazing girls. Are you craving a pause… a real reset… and maybe a day that's actually about you for once?In this episode, I'm sharing a powerful announcement — something women in this community have been asking for, and something I know we all deeply need right now:
Send us a textToo many transformational programs focus on individual breakthroughs and ignore the collective. But true evolution doesn't happen in isolation—it happens in community. It creates a ripple. And if your personal growth doesn't ripple out into the world, it's not transformation. It's performance. In this unfiltered, truth-telling episode of The Cosmic Valkyrie Podcast, Lynn Louise challenges the self-help industry's obsession with “solo healing” and spiritual bypassing—and invites you into something far more powerful: real, embodied, collective evolution. You'll hear why “just focus on yourself” is an outdated survival mechanism rooted in privilege, not empowerment. And why authentic transformation must engage with the world around you—not escape from it.
