The Anaheim Ducks are nearing the end of their long east coast road trip. Ducks TV color analyst Brian Hayward joins Alexis Downie to chat about the trip. It has been a CRAZY 24 hours around the NHL and that continued on Friday when the Toronto Maple Leafs fired Kyle Dubas. Hunter dives into why that press conference was SO awkward and why it looks like Dubas got shafted by Brendan Shanahan. The Pittsburgh Penguins got a massive win against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night and Hunter wants to start the show by looking at the urgency and desperation they showed in this game. From the drop of the puck, Hunter sensed that the Penguins knew their season was potentially on the line tonight, and boy, did they play like it. He loves how they came out after they got flattened in Newark on Tuesday and were rewarded with a goal in a dominant first period. Hunter analyzes how Kris Letang could full Marc-Andre Fleury with that shot before the Penguins got rewarded even more in the middle frame thanks to Rickard Rakell's blast. To start the show, Hunter touches on how the Penguins defended at a very high level and why they needed to show that they can win games like this during this time of year.
