"Why doesn't my teenager share anything with me? They just won't talk to me."It's a common refrain among many parents of teens and tweens. Why is it that it often seems like your teen would rather do almost anything than give you any information about themselves or come to you as their confidant? There are two major reasons: adolescent development and your behavior. How do we create systems that encourage whistleblowing without incentivizing malicious reporting? Should we reward whistleblowers financially? Why is closure important, both for whistleblowers and the organisations they are whistleblowing on? Episode SummaryOn this episode, I speak with Pav Gill, the whistleblower behind the Wirecard scandal and former General Counsel for Wirecard's Asia Pacific operations. But this conversation isn't about Wirecard. Instead, we explore the broader dynamics of whistleblowing—beyond high-profile scandals—focusing on the personal and organizational challenges of speaking up. Pav shares insights into what happens after a whistleblower comes forward, why some struggle to move on while others thrive, and how organizations can encourage reporting without creating perverse incentives. We discuss the psychological toll of whistleblowing, the role of incentives in encouraging disclosures, and the importance of closure—not just for individuals but for entire organizations. Pav also introduces the Confide Platform, his end-to-end whistleblowing platform designed to improve the process for both whistleblowers and companies. With experience as both a whistleblower and a compliance professional, he offers a unique perspective on making whistleblowing work for all stakeholders. Whether you work in compliance, risk, legal, or HR or are simply interested in ethical business practices, this episode will provide fresh insights into a complex topic. Guest BiographyPav Gill is the founder and CEO of The Confide Platform, a whistleblowing tool that streamlines the reporting and management of corporate misconduct. He gained prominence as the whistleblower behind the Wirecard scandal, exposing a multi-billion-dollar fraud that ultimately led to the company's collapse. At the time, Pav was General Counsel for Wirecard's Asia Pacific operations. His decision to speak out was instrumental in bringing the case to light. Beyond his whistleblowing experience, Pav is a legal and compliance expert with deep knowledge of corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Before founding the Confide Platform, he held leadership roles, providing legal and strategic counsel in high-stakes corporate environments. His insights into whistleblowing—shaped by both personal experience and professional expertise—make him a leading voice on ethical corporate behaviour and whistleblower protections.

This is a different episode than usual. I just talked to a guy who's going through a very similar separation story as I am, and he was really encouraged and suggested I should share this with more people, because it's a topic people don't love talking about. But men are suffering. Nobody expects to go through this. And if you do, nobody tells you how to navigate it smoothly. The grief. The pain. The change in logistics and day to day life.Figured I'd take the lead on this one and give you 20 ways I'm navigating my separation, keeping my head up, being there for my kids and team, and leaning on God.If you're going through this and need to chat, connect with me on IG.In this episode:0:00 Intro0:35 Navigating Separation and Divorce2:18 Why I'm Sharing This6:41 Tip 1: Prioritize Sleep7:54 Tip 2: Mindfulness8:49 Tip 3: Trusting the Father10:51 Tip 4: Hope and pray for the best, expect the worst11:41 Tip 5: Drop the chemicals12:31 Tip 6: Gratitude13:32 Tip 7: Stop worrying15:20 Tip 8: Get lean15:56 Tip 9: Run or walk16:14 Tip 10: Hit the weights17:12 Tip 11: Seek wisdom17:38 Tip 12: Confide in wise men19:44 Tip 13: Pain is inevitable, suffering is a choice21:33 Tip 14: Try not to rely on fast food22:02 Tip 15: You've got to rebuild22:52 Tip 16: Enrol your team25:24 Tip 17: Worship music26:02 Tip 18: The Bible26:41 Tip 19: Cry28:01 Tip 20: Keep going to church30:23 Final Thoughts and Encouragement---⏯️ Learn How to Achieve Freedom From Fitness on My YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/vincedelmonte

Et videns Jesus fidem illorum, dixit paralytico : Confide fili, remittuntur tibi peccata tua. 3 And behold some of the scribes said within themselves: He blasphemeth.Et ecce quidam de scribis dixerunt intra se : Hic blasphemat. 4 And Jesus seeing their thoughts, said: Why do you think evil in your hearts?Et cum vidisset Jesus cogitationes eorum, dixit : Ut quid cogitatis mala in cordibus vestris? 5 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee: or to say, Arise, and walk?Quid est facilius dicere : Dimittuntur tibi peccata tua : an dicere : Surge, et ambula? 6 But that you may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then said he to the man sick of palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go into thy house.Ut autem sciatis, quia Filius hominis habet potestatem in terra dimittendi peccata, tunc ait paralytico : Surge, tolle lectum tuum, et vade in domum tuam. 7 And he arose, and went into his house.Et surrexit, et abiit in domum suam. 8 And the multitude seeing it, feared, and glorified God that gave such power to men.Videntes autem turbae timuerunt, et glorificaverunt Deum, qui dedit potestatem talem hominibus.

https://youtu.be/SM7zNoTp8D8?si=MXxyOgxIRblmGmZA The Promise - 4 - Purity WelcomeGoal – Save future & current marriages… Bless your relationships with Godly wisdom. The Promise Title Sin ruins marriages.Adultery, pornography, unforgiveness, secrets, coveting other things. Not yet married crowd… do not wait until you are married to work on your secret sin issues. Sin is not a foundation you want to build anything upon. Genesis 2:24-25 (NIV) 24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. 25 Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame. SHAME: Bûwsh - to be ashamed; to become pale. This is bad.Not the playful “oh you are so bad.” Shame means PALE as in the blood/life force drains from your countenance. In Genesis 2 Adam & Eve felt NO SHAME. But the serpent came… Adam and Eve disobeyed God and the they felt… shame. Genesis 3:7-10 (NIV) Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. 8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” 10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” Shame causes us to retreat and hide. Kids – Did you eat a cookie? Cause a mess? -> Hide Adults – Did you cause a mess? -> Hide Shame happens when we connect a bad action to our identity. I did bad… I am bad. We become the thing we did. We hide because of shame. What does it look like to hide in a marriage… Working late again. I am headed to bed early. I think I am going to hang out with the boys/girls again tonight. I don't need to talk about it. Don't check my phone. Spending habits. I have a secret… Secrecy is the Enemy of Intimacy Want a deep relationship, get rid of shallow secrets. Bare all before one another… Get Naked Promise #4I promise to CONFIDE, not HIDE. If secrecy is the enemy of intimacy… I choose… Honesty, confession, righteousness, honor I choose light over darkness. Ephesians 5:8-10 (NIV) 8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. What is the darkness in your life? Movie theater… Darkness… Eyes adjust to darkness… Have your eyes adjusted to darkness?Or are you a Child of Light? Do you say that some sins are not a big deal? Ephesians 5:3 (NIV) 3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity… Not even a hint… redraw the line. Hopping in bed… LOOKS AND THOUGHTS. Jesus redrew the line of adultery… Matthew 5:28 (NIV) 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. Redraw the lines.Confide, don't hide. No more… Lusting after anyone that is not your spouse. Fantasy – thoughts and emotions. Secret desires. Hebrews 13:4 (NIV) 4 Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Would you ever wear dirty boots to bed?Would you go straight from the sweaty gym to bed? NO! You don't want to rest in filth. Clean your bed Do not allow anger in your bed… Unforgiveness… Passive aggressive undertones… silence… Secrets… Unaddressed issues… How do we live a life of purity? Proverbs 28:13 (NIV) Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Promise #4I promise to CONFIDE, not HIDE. Confession to God brings intimacy.Openness to your spouse brings intimacy. STOP HIDING!Turn from sin.Turn toward God. Future shame exercise (Close your eyes)

As he was speaking these things unto them, behold a certain ruler came up, and adored him, saying: Lord, my daughter is even now dead; but come, lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.Haec illo loquente ad eos, ecce princeps unus accessit, et adorabat eum, dicens : Domine, filia mea modo defuncta est : sed veni, impone manum tuam super eam, et vivet. 19 And Jesus rising up followed him, with his disciples.Et surgens Jesus, sequebatur eum, et discipuli ejus. 20 And behold a woman who was troubled with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment.Et ecce mulier, quae sanguinis fluxum patiebatur duodecim annis, accessit retro, et tetigit fimbriam vestimenti ejus. 21 For she said within herself: If I shall touch only his garment, I shall be healed.Dicebat enim intra se : Si tetigero tantum vestimentum ejus, salva ero. 22 But Jesus turning and seeing her, said: Be of good heart, daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.At Jesus conversus, et videns eam, dixit : Confide, filia, fides tua te salvam fecit. Et salva facta est mulier ex illa hora. 23 And when Jesus was come into the house of the ruler, and saw the minstrels and the multitude making a rout,Et cum venisset Jesus in domum principis, et vidisset tibicines et turbam tumultuantem, dicebat : 24 He said: Give place, for the girl is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.Recedite : non est enim mortua puella, sed dormit. Et deridebant eum. 25 And when the multitude was put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand. And the maid arose.Et cum ejecta esset turba, intravit : et tenuit manum ejus, et surrexit puella. 26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that country.Et exiit fama haec in universam terram illam.

Jilliann Woods grew up in an abusive environement which didn't stop with her childhood. When you suspect someone may be in an abusive relationship, develop trust by just being there for them and then begin asking gentle questions. God gives us all kinds of permission to be bold. I learned I do have a voice given to me by God, empowered by Him to be used by His Spirit. How does a woman transition from being "beside the point" to becoming the very point of her own life? Even if you feel ashamed or embarrassed, a trusted friend will understand and realize the abusive behavior of your spouse is not your fault. 2. Find a mentor or counselor who is trauma informed. Someone who will know what you are going through. Ask your friend to help with this step. If you are a Christian, find a trauma informed faith-based coach or counselor. 3. Be honest with yourself, don't excuse the abuse, and don't accept the blame for his behavior. Pray and ask God for guidance and courage. Welcome to another captivating episode of the Manlihood ManCast, where we dive deep into issues that affect men's lives and well-being. I'm your host, Josh Hatcher, and we're here to explore a topic that's been making waves on Reddit: confiding in 100%. As we gear up for the official launch of Season 7 on October 10th, we're excited to bring you these preview episodes to get you engaged and prepared for the exciting content we have in store. Today's episode centers around a viral post on Reddit by a user named Venus Emerald2, who posed a critical question: "Men, who do you confide in 100%?" The responses to this query revealed a striking issue: many men struggle to find someone they can trust wholeheartedly with their thoughts and emotions. Josh delves into the responses posted on Reddit, highlighting that several men shared that they don't have anyone they can confide in completely. Some admitted to sharing bits and pieces of their feelings with multiple people rather than entrusting one person with their vulnerabilities. Josh recognizes that there's a loneliness epidemic among men, who often feel disconnected and isolated. He underscores the importance of not carrying the weight of one's problems alone. While some men project a tough exterior and pretend to be self-reliant, it's vital to recognize that everyone has weaknesses and moments of vulnerability. To address this issue, Josh encourages men to proactively build meaningful relationships where trust is earned on both sides. He emphasizes the need for reciprocity in these relationships, where you're there for others when they need you and vice versa. Building these connections takes time and effort but is crucial for mental and emotional well-being. Josh also addresses the digital realm and social media, emphasizing that while online communities can provide support and interaction, genuine connections with real people are irreplaceable. He encourages listeners to seek out local groups, hobbies, or events where they can meet like-minded individuals and begin the process of building friendships. In conclusion, Josh urges men to take the initiative in forming strong relationships and being there for others when they need support. By investing in friendships and cultivating trust, we can combat the loneliness epidemic and ensure we have someone to confide in when times get tough. And entering into a boat, he passed over the water and came into his own city.Et ascendens in naviculam, transfretavit, et venit in civitatem suam. 2 And behold they brought to him one sick of the palsy lying in a bed. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the man sick of the palsy: Be of good heart, son, thy sins are forgiven thee.Et ecce offerebant ei paralyticum jacentem in lecto.

Saw a great quote from a long time friend and coach that I had to share today.
Last week we blinked and opened our eyes to a vision of a different world. A nightmare foretold is to become our future — a U.S. citizen who becomes pregnant can be stripped of their bodily autonomy and forced, by the U.S. government, to give birth. Attempt to abort the fetus, and you can be charged with murder. The idea of that reality is draconian and horrific. But what most people don't know is that we are already living in a reality that is much more sinister. Confide in a desperate text to your friend your fears of being pregnant, or simply Google the word “abortion” before having a miscarriage… and you can be charged with murder. On this episode of Rumble, Michael is joined by Cynthia Conti-Cook, award-winning civil rights attorney and current Technology Fellow on the Ford Foundation's Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Justice team.
