Follow @ambrocenide I've been trying to play my records out a lot more lately. For the longest time, I only played records — I've schlepped vinyl from Mexico City to Singapore and every in between. I've had my ups-and-downs in my DJ career, but lately I started getting booked for bigger gigs. The people I was opening for — HorsegiirL, VTSS, DJ Assault — were traveling into town and playing CDJs, so I really had focus on building my digital collection. It's better for my back to show up with a thumb drive in my pocket. But vinyl just hits different. I love the glacial pace of taking the time to go through all my records, trying to find that perfect sequence (this one ended up being a bunch of dubby 303-drenched hypnotic mushroom techno). And then, in the moment, when it all falls apart, you have to let go and embrace the chaos. This mix was made off a pair of Technics long overdue for a tune-up and a cheap Pioneer mixer — natural feel steez. Enjoy this week's episode with AIWASKA, the project from the mysterious producer with more than 20 years musical background. He has a hypnoticand spiritual sound, with organic chop elements. A perfect blend of Melodic House rhythm, with atmospheric basslines & hypnotic vocals. His production expertise has seen him deliver releases for such esteemed dance music imprints as Exploited, Crosstown Rebels, Bar 25 Music and House Music With Love. It's also bought him to collaborate with a whole host of legendary vocalists, such as Robert Owens, Roland Clark, Egyptian Lover, Aquarius Heaven, Starving Yet Full (ex. Azari & III) and more. He's been asked to deliver his unique style also to remixes for many dance music aficionados like Patrice Baumel, Eelke Kleijn, Jenia Tarsol & Kino Todo, Audiofly, Mihai Popoviciu, Tensnake, Dj Assault, Dj Feadz and more. It's this impressive back-catalogue that has seen him gather support from electronic music royalty like Solomun, Black Coffee, Damian Lazarus, Adam Port, &Me, Rampa, Claptone to name just a few. He performs in a mask as in Peru, when shamans make a ritual and go to a different reality, they put masks on. These masks reflect who they are and because of that, spirits recognise you as one of them. You also see coins on his hat because when you go to the world of spirits, you give these coins to them as a gift. Aiwaska is also doing an NFT project and series of events “Aiwaska Planet”. Within the framework of this project, he creates a movement of people who want to help the planet and the environment, and makes events which include elements of an immersive show and where the NFT part of the money is raised from. The sales from these events he donates to wild animals and the environment. He has a global fanbase and has performed at many established venues such as Burning Man Festival, Tulum, Ibiza and more. He has also recently started his own monthly radio show with the reputable Insomniac Radio / Sirius Xm (Usa) , Ibiza Sonica Radio , Ibiza Global Radio and Tulum DownTown Radio. His work has been highly praised by both DJ Mag Magazine & Mixmag Magazine over the past year or so, and a promising future lies in store for him no doubt. mul/ANNA is a young DJ from the Hague, but she's already (un)officially dubbed as the best ghetto house DJ of The Netherlands. Her urge to make people dance is fueled by an insatiable appetite for dirty ghetto house and lots of groovy beats from a wide range of genres such as booty house, electro and old school techno. It's important to her that people feel safe and fully can be themselves on the dance floor, that's why she started her own mix and event series BUMBU. Inspired by her Indonesian heritage, BUMBU is her vehicle and platform where she invites likeminded friends and peers such as Mahabe, Jelly, KI/IP and Kimmah. In her driving DJ sets mul/ANNA always channels that energy that will ultimately make your booty shake. mul/ANNA has shared the bill with DJ mell G, Viikatory, I-F, DJ Assault and more at favourite places like PIP, POING, VAULT SESSIONS, THE CRAVE and SKATECAFE. -- 036: mul/ANNA from The Hague, Netherlands https://soundcloud.com/mul-anna https://www.instagram.com/mulanna.bumbu

Introducing Justin Ross Lee the "Super Charged Super Jew" who refuses to fly anything other than first class or private, runs a company called "Pretentious Pocket Square," which sells super d paisley silk pocket squares with names like,"the Bateman" "the Madoff." A guy who calls himself the "Jewish Robinhood" because he deigns to leave first class and pour the "putz's" in coach glasses of Moet. If you combined things like: Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Global warming, bottle Service, private Planes, South Beach, corporate greed, trust fund babies, herpes, russian prostitutes, Bravo TV, cocaine conversations, new money, all the Real Housewives, guys who don't wear socks, investment bankers, Republicans, Hermes belts, Dolce Gabbana anything, and put them into a blender and then added a dash of semen, a gallon a jet fuel, and a sprinkle of Vagisil and you would create the Molotov cocktail that is Justin Ross Lee. His ringtone is Ass n Titties by DJ Assault, claims he doesn't like Asian Women because he doesn't do the "MSG" and is dripping in so much false testosterone and confidence that you feel like you have to take a shower the moment you lock eyes with him. It took him all of 5 minutes to show me a picture of his Tower of Piza leaning dick which has got to be a record for me. And even though he loves girls who are "shiksalicious," meaning fake tits, big vacant eyes, and super blonde hair with a crucifix hanging in their cleavage, our entire conversation was spent with him trying to figure out whether he wanted to fuck me, or kill me maybe both at the same time who knows. This was a challenging interview for me because while he represents pretty much everything I hate on the planet I ended up really enjoying our conversation and liking him. To a fault I commend anyone who has the chutzpah to do something different in a funny way, and let me tell you this mother fucker is hilarious. He's memorized a million sound bites and spits out his little mantras like a tennis ball machine hooked up to a nuclear powered generator right at your head. I can't even fathom the amount of time he has spent in front of the mirror like Stewart Smalley. (I'm Good Enough I'm smart enough and gosh darnit people like me.) Yet, we got along swimmingly...which is disturbing onto itself But let me be clear, Justin is whip smart, and has found way to literally fake it until he made it.. So with no further ado, I present to you J.R.L vs Z.N - 35 minutes of head to head battle...who wins? I'll let you decide. (the answer is EVERYONE LOSES) Recorded and edited originally by Jimmy Vallance Remastered by Josiah Lejuwaan Music: Fame - David Bowie Rivolta - Polo and Pan Here are some great tweets from him: Hopping a Gulfstream GIV down to Boca to thaw out my matzo balls. #FuckTheWeather#TheJewishAmericanDream Subaru needs to re-market itself as the official vehicle of slow driving lesbians with too many pets. (this is very funny) The novelty of a gorgeous model wears off the moment you fuck her and realize she's no better than anyone else. I think I'm in an abusive relationship with LA. Every time I beat the shit out of her she always comes back. I make a flight attendant come with one finger. For our 173rd entry to the Local Selection Mix Series, we welcome Derv. The Dublin based DJ, promoter and co-founder/resident of parties Crane Club and Hidden Love has gifted us with a sensational mix of all things bouncy and booty bass. Strap yourself in. This gets crazy. Derv boasts recent club supports for international heavyweights X Club, X-Coast and DJ Slugo for their stellar Dublin shows, as well as playing an assortment of Dublin gigs for a range of different parties. Some of these include Crane Club, Hidden Love, Slither, Reboot, Human Error, LTDC (Loose Tooth Dental Club) and more. It is safe to say that you can expect to hear a lot more from Derv in the very near future. Derv possesses a mixing style that is swift as she tends to mostly lean into high tempo ghetto-tech tracks. Derv aims to achieve versatility in her mixes and sets through the genres and sounds that she plays, however she mostly focuses on encapsulating sounds of ghetto-tech, ghetto-house and electro whilst wrapping these genres around hard-hitting techno tracks, as well as often using sounds within the house, trance and gabber genres. This mix combines twenty jacking ghetto-tech, techno and trance tracks into an hour of high-energy mixing with tracks from some of Derv's biggest inspirations. Some of which include Von Riu, DJ Fuckoff, Mell G, DJ Assault and Jensen Interceptor. You can also expect tracks from talented Irish producers Ventolin (Oisin Murray) and Fiddy1 (Stephen Burke). The recording lies at just under an hour in length, which showcases Derv's varied yet unique taste in a truly eloquent way. Sensational. This week's Local Selection Mix is pushing the temp as Cork up and comer Ladrin steps up for a blistering hour of techno, breaks and rave. This is sixty minutes of swerving techno, as Ladrin brings you down the rabbit hole of bass. DJ and producer Ladrin has been turning heads in Cork as of late, with his no nonsense and darings selections behind the decks. After only coming onto the scene last year he has already secured his first headline gig in Cyprus Avenue and has shared the stage with the likes of Tommy Holohan and Dj Assault. His love for old-school and modern techno is complimented by elements of breaks, hardcore, ghetto house, jungle and almost everything in between, to give you an energetic, fast, rave-like and genre chopping experience that isn't easy to pin down. In addition to this he has recently formed the collective SKEWED with Jinn and Tiarnola and has put on notorious raves and events all over Cork in efforts to improve the nightlife in his hometown. He has also put together his own mix series over at PRSNRS in efforts to promote and show the under appreciated talent in Ireland. For this mix he provides us with an intense hour of techno and breaks. You might need a seatbelt for this one, as it get's very quick, very fast, and this is about as in your face as it gets. Tough kicks, razor sharp hats, jarring basslines and a number of off-kilter selections, to keep you guessing. This is hot stuff. GhettoTek Master DJ Assault sits down with Alex Stein of the Conspiracy Castle to talk about the current world being upside down and backwards. We discuss the music industry and the manipulation of society with trauma based mind control. DJ Assault is an OG DJ with a mind that is clearly awake.
@hermeth After two albums under his former alias Lacrema, with which he explored a very synthwave side of electronic music, Hermeth now goes much more into electro sounds under his new alias and in his very first EP, "In A Huff", released in January 2019. Drawing inspiration from Shinra's melodies, the power of Jensen Interceptor and the gritty style of DJ Assault, his debut EP is a reflection of the man behind the music: effective, corrosive, straight to the point. Hermeth based on Geneva and he is a member of Brainwaves Crew, where he releases his works.

We're excited to have good friend of the program, Tektite of the Vitamin B crew in Brooklyn, in The Armory this week. Press play. Get down. A DJ and promoter for over fifteen years, Tektite is also the founder of Vitamin B, NYC's longest-running monthly breakbeat party. Coming up on it's sixth year, Vitamin B brings top talent from around the world to Brooklyn, including legendary headliners Deekline, the Stanton Warriors, Zinc, Icey, Mafia Kiss, Marten Horger, DJ Assault, Keith Mackenzie and DJ Fixx. Tektite is also part of the Blackbird Squadron music and arts collective, which performs at festivals throughout the US on a jet-black school bus with a precision hand-built 30,000 watt sound system.
