The Chats are an Australian punk rock band that formed in 2016 in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. They describe their sound as 'shed rock'. The current band lineup is composed of guitarist Josh Hardy, drummer Matt Boggis, and bassist and vocalist Eamon Sandwith. The Chats make rambunctious old-school punk peppered with their cheeky, irreverent sense of humor. More interested in beer, smokes, and fast cars than the state of the world, the Chats follow in the tradition of Australian bands like the Cosmic Psychos, the Hard-Ons, and Dune Rats in cranking out raw, energetic punk with a smirking sense of fun and a regular-guy attitude. TOTTY: Live at Black Bear Lodge, Fortitude Valley, 13 September 2019 TOTTY formed in the small town of Berrara on the south coast of New South Wales in 2016. Initially a duo consisting of Kelly Jansch on vocals/guitar and Chris Peruch on drums, their earliest songs were recorded in a shed out the back of Jansch's mother's house. Moving north to Woolongong and picking up bass player Max Piroddi, TOTTY gradually grew their live following and secured support slots with bands including Drunk Mums, Horror My Friend, Ruby Fields and Skeggs. In May 2018 TOTTY were signed to Dune Rats' Ratbag Records and released their debut EP, "Cut the Poppies". Since then they've released an additional single, Lucky, in May 2019. It's only been a short period of time, but the gang have already traversed the east coast and gotten wild with a slew of great bands, from Totally Unicorn to Hockey Dad.
