Dunedin residents who watched helplessley as floodwaters rose up around their homes are hoping the worst of the wet weather is over ... and yet the rain keeps on falling. The city has experienced its wettest day in more than a century. About 100 people had to evacuate their homes overnight as a state of emergency was declared and water swept into properties.
