Niall is a 22 year old Irish based artist specialising in Hardgroove, Hypnotic & Tribal techno. He has a passion for all forms of electronic music, but his true sound is heavily influenced by the late 90s & early 2000s era of loop-driven techno, however, it's no surprise to hear a variety of genres from both the new and the old era's in Niall's highly energetic sets. He has performed all over Ireland in the last 2 years, with multiple headline shows in various Irish cities like Galway, Sligo, Limerick & Dublin. In Summer 2023, Niall made his first Irish festival appearances at Electric Picnic & Life Festival, and also wrapped up his first tour in Canada & America alongside his former collective, with performances in Vancouver, San Diego, San Francisco, Chicago & New York. This tour allowed him to share his musical talents & knowledge on an international scale for the first time & gave him great exposure doing so. Niall has notably supported many international artists like Hector Oaks, X-Club, Azyr, Partiboi69, Skin on Skin, Riot Code, Salute and Testpress. The above list of artists shows Niall's sheer versatility on the decks and that he is not limited to playing just one genre. He is also a lover of all-night-long sets, having completed 6 to date with hopefully many more in the future. In the world of production, Niall embarked on his creative journey in January 2023, and it has been quite a successful one so far. He's gotten 3 releases under his belt to date, and they have already received support from artists such as VTSS, TRYM, Boyz Noize, Bad Boombox, Juicy Romance & 2qwik2gruv. With more projects currently in the pipeline, including his first label releases & remixes, he doesn't show any sign of stopping soon with his productions. @niall-kelly-16

Born in the UK and based in Berlin, Cressida's sound is a cross-pollination of these two sonic spectrums - the rhythmic, dystopian force of Techno fused with a sound embedded in various points of the UK Hardcore Continuum Cressida marked his first release “Salvation“ EP on Nur Jaber's OSF label and tracks on compilations for both Dax J's Monnom Black and Mord in 2018. After two more EPs on Voitax he contributed a track to the Midnight Shift x Voitax collab LP in late 2020. Far from going unnoticed, his work has been heralded by luminary artists such as Dax J, Paula Temple, Rebekah, FJAAK to name a few. His performances have gathered at an even faster pace with shows in North America, Asia and across Europe, plus key appearances at institutions like Tresor, Berghain's Säule, //about:blank and Griessmuehle in his adopted hometown. He has also made key contributions to renowned mix series such as HATE & Groove Magazine as well as appearing on the mighty RinseFM, amongst many others. Manchester based DJ and promoters Blasha & Allatt join us for a chat about the music industry and their background promoting and playing a growing number of parties in the UK and internationally. The duo, who has been developing a strong bond in working together for years, share their passion for music and experience about the natural ups and downs of the creator’s journey. Blasha & Allatt were first introduced to each other by a common friend. They almost instantly enjoyed playing records together and started DJing back-to-back. Eventually with an extended group of friends, they started Meat Free, a well respected regular event in Manchester, that allowed them to host artists such as Ben Sims, Haai, Surgeon, Hector Oaks, Nur Jaber, Sunil Sharpe, Claire Morgan, Manni Dee, Dr Rubinstein… and many more. In this chat, we talk about their love for records and music, their history and the learnings from working with other people; and also how they played Boiler Room, preparing for gigs and the challenges of working as a duo. We discuss life experiences (including breaking Ben Sim’s tooth) and the ups and downs that creators - at least most of them - are likely to face. We look at how the scene is bound to evolve due to the current world crisis and the possibility to have more space for the grassroots of the scene: the local artists. And we dig deeper into Blasha & Allatt’s life ethos: doing what makes you happy and sticking to what you really want to do. -- Blasha & Allatt -- SC: https://soundcloud.com/blasha-allatt IG: https://www.instagram.com/blashaallatt FB: https://www.facebook.com/BlashaAllatt Slam Radio mix: https://soundcloud.com/paragraph/slamradio-369-blasha-allatt Meat Free: https://www.instagram.com/meatfreemcr Aalice (friend, DJ and one of the minds behind the charity fundraise mentioned): https://www.instagram.com/_aalice___ -- Home Of Sound -- Subscribe to our newsletter: bit.ly/HoS_Newsletter Subscribe on YouTube: bit.ly/HoSYoutubeSubscribe All latest links: https://linktr.ee/home_of_sound HoS X Adam Heaton: guest interview + playlist: https://www.adam-heaton.co.uk/playlists/home-of-sound
