Che qualità!Gli speech molto interessanti e una formazione di alto livello hanno certificato questa seconda edizione come la più interessante. Qui il corso dove sono docente insieme a Davide Casaleggio.IL CLAMOROSO FLOP DI CHATGPT 4.5Possiamo dirlo senza problemi: la versione 4.5 di ChatGPT è un flop clamoroso.Non tanto per il modello in sé, che comunque delude le aspettative, ma per tutto quello che c'è intorno oggi.Tutti quanti stavamo aspettando la prossima versione di ChatGPT. Da molti mesi. Solo che gli annunci sui modelli tardavano ad arrivare. Quindi prima ci siamo sorbiti il modello 03 che però ha prestazioni come 01, solo che costa meno. Poi abbiamo atteso il modello successivo. Ma questo non è arrivato.E l'ipotesi che ho fatto mesi fa si è concretizzata: col cavolo che avrebbero annunciato il 5, perché i concorrenti erano andati più avanti del previsto, quindi non sarebbe stato disruptive rispetto a quello che c'è oggi. Ci aspettavamo qualcosa di clamoroso. Invece non solo non lo è, ma hanno speso un botto e i costi per usarlo sono alti.E in effetti è così. Il modello non stacca gli altri. Considerando inoltre che Gemini e DeepSeek sono rilasciati da un po' e stanno lavorando alle prossime versioni, possiamo dirlo: NON C'È PIÙ ALCUN GAP.Quello che ipotizzava Andrea Dragotta molti mesi fa, ovvero che i modelli sarebbero stati una commodity, è realtà.OpenAI non sta innovando. È inutile girarci attorno. L'annuncio è stato pessimo, fatto da persone non competenti. Sam Altman non c'era (e ci credo). La distribuzione non è avvenuta a tutti gli account. I costi sono stati enormi con un modello molto costoso.Non hanno rilasciato il 5 per marketing, non hanno rilasciato a tutti il modello perché non hanno tutte le GPU che servono. Non è disruptive.Unica cosa è che le risposte che offre sono più umane. Che ridere…come Anthropic e Gemini in pratica.La questione però non è facile. E non era prevedibili da quelli che non conoscono da vicino quel mondo. Come mi dice spesso Alessio Pomarola crescita derivante dalla scala, con le architetture attuali, non sta più permettendo balzi evolutivi importanti.Lo ha ripetuto all'AI Festival dove ha mostrato qualcosa per superare questo limite: Titans di Google. Rilasciato pubblicamente come AlphaGeometry 2.Perché questo è un punto chiave: Google rilascia molto pubblicamente. OpenAI ha scelto di chiudersi perché pensava che così facendo non li avrebbero raggiunti in fretta. Invece hanno fatto male i calcoli.La 4.5 è solo un modo per tentare di riprendere la leadership, ma nonostante gli enormi investimenti e costi, sarà superata dal prossimo modello. Che Flop Clamoroso.SAM ALTMAN PER QUANTO RESTERÀ ALLA GUIDA DI OPENAI?Lo dico senza mezzi termini: Sam Altman non è la persona giusta a guidare OpenAI. Per quel ruolo che sta coprendo serve una persona competente in quel ruolo. Non ci si improvvisa. Anche a Google, all'inizio, i fondi di investimento hanno imposto Eric Schmidt perché Brin e Page non erano in grado. Poi, dopo 10 anni, Page è riuscito a ricoprire il ruolo.E attenzione, visto che arriveranno i fanboy e le fangirl, se cercate bene, esattamente un anno fa dicevo che sarebbe stato meglio che Pichai si dimettesse da Google. Non è una questione di fare il tifo per uno o per l'altro.Pichai poi si è ripreso. Sono state decisive le scelte su DeepMind a cambiare la rotta. Ovviamente Pichai ricopre quel ruolo da tanto, con anni di gavetta. Sam Altman no e si ritrova anche in un cambiamento molto importante.Ma di sicuro ci sono alcune tematiche fondamentali:* molte persone sono andate via da OpenAI* Internet non è quella di 20 anni. OpenAI sta competendo con le BigTech che hanno miliardi di investimenti ogni anno sull'AI. Se la parte economica di OpenAI che dovrebbe generare profitti per investire è fatta solo da investimenti, è un bel problema.Queste due cose messe insieme sono una bomba contro l'innovazione.A parte qualche funzioncina, OpenAI non ha lanciato niente di innovativo e l'Open Source ha iniziato a metterli in difficoltà.Sono sempre più convinto che saranno inglobati da Microsoft. Bruciare il GAP competitivo mostruoso che si era creato in così poco tempo è veramente un peccato capitale.ARRIVA IL TERREMOTO PER LA SEO IN ITALIA: AI OVERVIEWS SU GOOGLEEh niente. Ci siamo.
