She has also held senior positions at Workman Publishing, where her successes included the Silver Palate Cookbooks and What to Expect When You're Expecting, and Putnam, where her authors included Tomie dePaola and Eric Carle. She lives in Montclair, New Jersey, and her passions include books, theatre, ballet, music, and her family.Michael Szczerban is the vice president and publisher of Voracious and Spark, two imprints of Little, Brown and Company that help readers improve their lives by making them more delicious, more beautiful, healthier, and happier. Hello and welcome to Season 13! This season is different because ½ of the 8 episodes are going to be focused on AI. However, there are a few episodes that aren't focused on AI including today's. While understanding AI is important, we also need the EQ that occurs in between skilling up and one of those huge skills is navigating difficult conversations. As Jennifer says, contact and context before content! This episode is the pep talk you perhaps didn't even know you needed. Jennifer empowers us to tackle our challenges head on, eliminate negative self talk,  and take care of ourselves throughout the process. We go through three real life examples and Jennifer talks through how she would handle them. These examples were submitted by real life listeners with their real life challenges. Jennifer Zaslow is an Executive Coach who believes that harnessing your full potential begins with finding your voice. We chatted about digital design, his passion for interactive and responsive design environments, and his work with The Deconstructive Theatre Project.Adam J. Thompson is a video and graphic designer working in in film, television, theatre, and digital narratives. He has worked previously as a creative director and a producer and is the Founding Artistic Director of The Deconstructive Theatre Project, a non-profit multimedia storytelling laboratory which he founded and led from 2006 - 2016.His work as a multimedia performance director and as a video and projection designer has been produced and presented off-Broadway, off off-Broadway, regionally, and on tour with companies and at venues that include New York Theatre Workshop, The Public Theater, Atlantic Theatre Company, Theatre for a New Audience, La Mama, Ars Nova, HERE, The Flea, American Theatre Wing, Terminal 5, Beth Morrison Projects, National Sawdust, Boston Lyric Opera, City Theatre, and Diversionary Theatre. Kimberly Chatterjee is a mixed race South Asian actor born to an Indian-American father and Anglo-American mother. Born and raised in Fremont, California, she grew up surrounded by people and cultures with roots from around the world, particularly Asian and Middle Eastern cultures. She came to NYC to go to NYU Tisch's New Studio on Broadway, where she got her BFA in Drama with a focus on Musical Theatre, a BA in English & American Literature, as well as a certificate in Shakespeare Performance from a semester at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She most recently performed in both the World and NYC premiere of Kate Hamill's Pride and Prejudice, a co-production with Primary Stages and Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. Next up she will be performing in a two week workshop of Bhangin' It by Rehana Mirza, Mike Lew, and Sam Willmott through the Jerome Robbins Foundation. Chris Pennington, Executive Director of the Jerome Robbins Foundation, provides an overview of Jerome Robbins's significance in American dance and discusses the management of rights to the choreographer's works.

Helen Pickett, born in San Diego, California, studied dance at The San Francisco Ballet School under the direction of Lew Christensen and Michael Smuin, and later, Helgi Tomasson.  In 2005, Mikko Nissinen, director of the Boston Ballet, offered Helen her first choreographic commission,Etesian. The New York Choreographic Institute awarded her a Fellowship Initiative Grant in 2006. In the same year and through 2008, Helen choreographed for Boston Ballet, Washington Ballet, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, Louisville Ballet and Ballet X. In 2007, Dance magazine named Helen one of "25 to Watch". She received a Choreographic Residency from Jacob's Pillow in 2008. From 2009 through 2011, Helen created new ballets for Royal Ballet of Flanders, Ballet West, Boston Ballet, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, and Dance Theatre of Harlem. In 2012 and 2013, her commissions include Atlanta Ballet, Semper Oper/Dresden Ballet, Vienna State Opera, Scottish Ballet and Smuin Ballet. Helen was one of the first choreographers to receive the Jerome Robbins Foundation’s New Essential Works Grant. For over a decade Helen performed with William Forsythe's Ballet Frankfurt. During her last season with Ballet Frankfurt, Helen simultaneously performed with The Wooster Group, director, Elizabeth Le Compte. She acted with the Group for five non-consecutive years in the OBIE award winning House/Lights,North Atlantic. In 2005, Helen returned to the role, as a guest artist with The Royal Ballet of Flanders, in William Forsythe Impressing the Czar. In 2009, Impressing the Czar received the Laurence Olivier Award and in 2012, the Prix de la Critique award for outstanding performance of the year. Helen collaborates, as an actress and choreographer, with installation video artists and filmmakers including Eve Sussman, Toni Dove and Laurie Simmons. Helen, a founding member of Eve Sussman The Rufus Corporation, created the role of the Queen in 89 Seconds at Alcazar, which was shown at the 2004 Whitney Biennial, and now is in the permanent collection at Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 2007, Helen acted in Sussman feature length film, The Rape of the Sabine Women. She played Sally Rand in Toni Dove's video installation and feature film, Spectropia. Helen teaches Forsythe-based improvisation and her motivational creative workshop entitled The Expansive Artist throughout Europe and the United States. Dance Europe published Helen's article, Considering Cezanne,in 2006. In 2011, Helen earned a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from Hollins University.

Jessica Lang has attained rare levels of success as a female choreographer continuously working with ballet companies across the U.S. and abroad since 1999. She is noted for her artfully crafted, emotionally engaging work and has been described as having "established a reputation for concocting ingenious choreographic interactions between dancing bodies and the movements of striking set and costume pieces." Kansas City Star. Lang has created more than 80 works on companies. Lang has received numerous grants for her work on ballet companies from organizations including the Jerome Robbins Foundation, the NEA, and the Choo San Goh Foundation. Her receipt of a 2010 Joyce Theater Artist Residency, supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, helped launch her own company, Jessica Lang Dance (JLD). Since its inception in 2011, JLD has garnered significant attention and acclaim, thrilling audiences at prestigious venues and festivals throughout the country, Lang, a graduate of The Juilliard School under the direction of Benjamin Harkarvy, is a former member of Twyla Tharp's company, THARP!
