From Adam West to Robert Pattinson, no bat stone will be left unturned. Bottom-line: If you're a Batman fan, this is required listening. In this episode, Daniel is joined once again by Podcast Editor Alex Marcus as they ring in the holidays with a cherished Christmas classic – Batman Returns! Yes, this episode is solely focused on Tim Burton's 1992 masterpiece, and one of the most hotly debated Batman movies ever made. If you love Batman Returns, or hate it, this is the episode you've been waiting for. So, break out the banned McDonalds Happy Meal toys, raw fish, zombie cats, and proposed power plant plans, and listen to one of the most in-depth discussions on Batman Returns you will ever hear. Ben Armstrong | Nov. 27 2022 Nothing says HOLIDAY SEASON more than a picture of people gathered around a table of food. Whether that table is 20 feet long and filled with the best food available or is a meager card table with a McDonalds Happy Meal on it to be shared, the concept of “sharing a meal” together is inseparably connected to the DNA of human life and existence. Something special happens around food. When a meal is shared defenses are lowered, relationship is created, bonds are formed, community is nurtured, and hunger is satisfied. And all this is not only what each of us desperately longs for, but also what God desires to take place among us both in relationship with Him and with others. Through the gift of food and feasts, God invites us all into community! In this second message, Pastor Ben will look at who Jesus chose to eat with and how that challenges us to show mercy and love to those that we may culturally want to avoid.

If there was one toy craze that embodied the 1990s it would be Beanie Babies. These small, under stuffed, adorable plush animals worked America into a frenzy as seemingly the entire country was fixated on collecting them. Beanie Mania spawned books, websites, fan clubs and an iconic McDonalds Happy Meal promotion. While the toys aren't worth much these days, the memories they created totally are! On this episode we'll walk down memory lane with our listeners as they call in to “talk TY” and reminisce about hunting for Beanies!

Released in 2005 to widespread disinterest and bemusement, the Zizzle Iz was the new music toy created by the bloke who made Furbies. For the most part, it just kind of existed for a while before quietly petering out into obscurity, though if you're in the UK, you may know of it thanks to a McDonalds Happy Meal promotion where they included a far cheaper and almost feature-free version of the toy. Somehow, it ended up with a near hour long cartoon special by Dic which manages to almost completely fail at properly selling the toy to you by way of obscuring its actual functionality. And yet...it isn't so bad? Tune in to DICG FM to find out our full thoughts today! Also yes, we finally fixed all of our audio problems with this episode. Turns out recording on an old "media PC" that's perpetually on a death knell isn't such a hot idea! Who knew?
On this episode my guest is Courtney Rioux. Courtney can be seen on NBC’s Chicago Med as Paramedic Courtney. Her fun and easy approach has been described as, "therapy without the therapy!" You can find her at courtneyrioux.com and as Courtney Rioux on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Her preference is Instagram though.

Which doesn't sound competitive, but they worked really hard to make it fit into the show. Which is a certain kind of competitive If you think about it. So Listen as the guys Kick, Eat and Curl their way through all of the topics before their time runs out. Then you too can know "Nothing's ever going to bring you down"
