The entire album takes you back to the golden age of early 1960s surf guitar with all the great subgenres and associated themes that made—and still make—surf music unique and yet accessible to just about everyone. We debut a number of songs from El Gato and we dig into how it was recorded with Deven, Joe, John, and Matt. Una potente jornada musical se vivió en los estudios de Ritoque FM con la visita del profe Dani, músico de Hijos de la Tierra, quien llegó junto a jóvenes talentos de enseñanza media que hoy forman parte de tres agrupaciones emergentes que proyectan el futuro del rock local. Durante la conversación, conocimos el trabajo formativo que impulsa Dani, así como las motivaciones, influencias y sueños de los representantes de estas bandas, quienes compartieron su visión sobre hacer música en la actualidad y mantener vivo el espíritu del rock desde las nuevas generaciones. La instancia también permitió revisar parte de la música de estas agrupaciones, dando cuenta de su energía, identidad y propuesta sonora, en una conversación que mezcló experiencia, aprendizaje y pasión por los escenarios. Además, extendieron la invitación a toda la comunidad para ser parte del Festival de Rock Joven, que se realizará este sábado 4 de julio a las 18:00 horas en El Gato en la Ventana, un espacio ideal para apoyar la música emergente y descubrir nuevas voces locales.
