Kencan Dengan Tuhan - Jumat, 11 April 2025Bacaan: "Perkataan mulut orang adalah seperti air yang dalam, tetapi sumber hikmat adalah seperti batang air yang mengalir." (Amsal 18:4) Renungan: Pada suatu malam di bulan April 1961, Presiden John F. Kennedy memanggil beberapa orang penasihat terdekatnya untuk berkumpul di ruang kabinet. Kennedy mengumpulkan mereka untuk membicarakan bagaimana mewujudkan visinya, agar astronot Amerika bisa sampai ke bulan.Untuk mencapai visi itu, maka dikumpulkanlah para ilmuwan Amerika. Kemudian para ilmuwan mempresentasikan hal-hal yang berkenaan dengan pengiriman astronot ke bulan. Setelah itu para ilmuwan membuat target bahwa 10 tahun kemudian mereka akan mengirimkan astronot Amerika ke bulan. Mega proyek itu memerlukan dana sebesar US $40 milliar. Kennedy menyetujui semua rancangan dan anggaran dana, walaupun para ilmuwan itu tidak menjamin bahwa mereka akan berhasil mendaratkan astronot Amerika di bulan. Lima belas menit setelah pertemuan itu selesai, Kennedy mengumumkan hal itu kepada rakyat Amerika lewat pidatonya yang terkenal, "Kita akan pergi ke bulan." Kennedy tidak tahu bagaimana teknik mengirim astronot Amerika ke bulan, tetapi dia yakin bahwa negaranya pasti bisa mendaratkan astronot di bulan. Karena itu, dengan kemampuannya Kennedy menghimpun, memotivasi, dan membiayai para ilmuwan yang lebih tahu secara teknis bagaimana mengirim astronot sampai ke bulan. Kennedy mempunyai kemampuan yang tinggi untuk menghimpun dan memotivasi orang lain, sehingga akhirnya Neil Armstrong, menjadi astronot Amerika pertama yang berhasil menjejakkan kakinya di bulan pada hari Minggu, 20 Juli 1969. Keberhasilan Neil Armstrong sampai ke bulan merupakan bukti nyata betapa besarnya pengaruh motivasi yang diberikan oleh seorang pemimpin kepada orang-orang yang dianggapnya mampu untuk mewujudkan visinya. Setiap pemimpin seharusnya menjadi seorang motivator yang mau berpikir dan berani bertindak seperti Kennedy. Seorang pemimpin harus mempunyai kemampuan untuk melihat jauh ke depan. Seorang pemimpin tidak boleh cepat putus asa, tetapi ia harus memiliki semangat juang yang mampu memotivasi bawahannya. Itulah yang dilakukan Musa kepada Yosua. Musa memotivasi Yosua untuk maju memimpin bangsa Israel merebut dan memasuki tanah Kanaan. Musa telah memberikan semangat dan keyakinan kepada Yosua serta seluruh bangsa Israel, bahwa Allah menyertai mereka untuk merebut tanah Kanaan. Menjadi berkat untuk orang lain tidak harus dalam bentuk materi, tetapi juga dapat dalam bentuk pemberian nasihat dan motivasi. Setiap orang memerlukan motivasi untuk mencapai cita-cita mereka. Dan setiap pemimpin harus belajar mengembangkan kemampuan untuk memotivasi bawahannya, agar bawahannya terus bersemangat untuk meraih cita-cita mereka. Jangan pernah membiarkan bawahan kita bekerja tanpa semangat untuk mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Tuhan Yesus memberkati. Doa:Tuhan Yesus, pakailah mulutku sebagai mulut-Mu sendiri sehingga aku mampu memberikan motivasi dan kekuatan kepada orang-orang yang sedang berbeban dan mempunyai masalah, sehingga mereka boleh dikuatkan untuk semakin percaya pada kuasa-Mu. Il y a forcément plus qu'un passement au cœur de se dire que dans un mois, c'est terminé…"Oui, je me réjouis et en même temps je sais que dès le 1er juin, plein de choses vont me manquer, à commencer, les gens, l'équipe, les partenaires, mais c'est aussi bien de tourner une page. 14 ans c'est pas mal"14 ans avec des succès et des revers. Côté revers, il y a l'extension du MAH ou encore la Cité de la Musique. Les Genevois ont estimé que c'était trop. Trop grand, trop gros, trop cher. Le regret d'avoir trop voulu…"La Cité de la musique ce n'est pas mon histoire, je le dis clairement, c'est un projet privé soutenu par le canton. J'aurais bien aimé que ça se fasse mais on avait des malentendus donc ça je ne mets pas dans la catégorie des revers. Pour le MAH, j'ai hérité d'un projet ficelé, ficelé à tel point que je n'avais aucun choix pour renoncer à Jean Nouvel ou à Jean-Claude Gandur.  j'ai essayé de le passer, c'était des contrats, vous savez que vous ne pouvez pas résilier, ça c'est pas mal, merci aux prédécesseurs. Le projet Nouvel était porté par Rémy Pagani, c'était plutôt à lui d'estimer s'il pouvait sauver la mise. Moi j'ai adoré le projet d'origine. Aujourd'hui, vous auriez un restaurant d'altitude et une très belle feuille de verre. C'est du passé, c'est la démocratie, mais disons la convention avec la fondation Gandur était non résiliable par la Ville et puis même si l'intention n'était certainement pas mal honnête, les gens ont cru que la fondation prenait le pouvoir"Côté réussite: Genève s'est aussi dotée d'une Nouvelle Comédie, un MEG rénové. Une certaine fierté d'avoir réussi, aussi, à faire avancer ces dossiers là… "La Comédie estune très grande réussite, le MEG aussi, c'est impressionnant, il y a aussi la l'Alhambra, le pavillon de la danse le muséum est en chantier, il va rouvrir plus tard"Quand rouvre exactement le Muséum d'histoire naturelle?"C'est un bâtiment ancien, des années 60 et l'on a réalisé qu'il y avait d'autres choses à faire. Il y a des normes: normes sécurité, énergétiques! C'est une institution qui accueille 300'000 personnes par année et qui avait besoin d'un sérieux lifting. On a essayé de ne pas tout faire mais l'on se rend compte que l'on ne peut pas. Dès qu'on commence, il faut tout assainir. Le Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle restera fermé jusqu'à l'automne 2026"Est-ce qu'il n'y a pas un regret de ne pas avoir fait avancer autant le sport que la culture ?"Je pense que les choses ont bien avancé à l'époque, et je suis très heureux que ma collègue Marie Barbey-Chapuis ait pris le relais avec beaucoup d'enthousiasme et d'énergie.  Il y a notamment le plan directeur des infrastructures sportives, qu'on a vraiment lancé à l'époque, qui se déploie maintenant avec le nouveau centre de tennis au Bois des frères, la Queue d'Arve en partie refaite, le crédit pour le Bout du monde... (Ibrani 13:6)Renungan: Robin Williams, seorang aktor komedi mengakhiri hidupnya dengan bunuh diri karena depresi. la menghibur hati begitu banyak orang dengan leluconnya, namun tidak mampu menghibur dirinya sendiri yang gundah gulana. la menjalani kehidupan dengan berjubahkan badut yang menunjukkan wajah yang gembira namun di dalamnya penuh duka dan keputusasaan. Sebuah surat kabar menyatakan, "Bagaimanakah hal ini dapat terjadi? Betapa mengejutkan, memilukan, dan sebuah kehilangan yang besar." Setiap hari ia membuat orang-orang sekitarnya tersenyum. namun dari hari ke hari ia makin tenggelam dalam kehampaan hidup. Apakah pelajaran kehidupan yang dapat kita ambil dari kisah tragis kehidupan aktor komedi ini? Pertama, kita harus memiliki kekuatan untuk bertahan dengan tidak membiarkan persoalan membuat kita terpuruk. Ketika Yosua harus berjalan menduduki tanah Kanaan yang jauh lebih kuat, Tuhan berkata, "Kuatkan dan teguhkanlah hatimu." Sering kali kita lebih mengharapkan dukungan dari orang lain, namun sesungguhnya kekuatan yang bersumber dari dalam diri kita jauh memiliki daya energi yang luar biasa untuk memampukan kita bangkit kembali. Ketika kekuatan kita lemah lesu, katakanlah, "Mengapa engkau tertekan, hai jiwaku, dan gelisah? Berharaplah kepada Allah!... Penolongku dan Allahku." (Mzm 42:6) Kedua, pertajam pandangan iman kita dengan menyadari kehadiran Tuhan di setiap jalan yang kita lalui. Kekelaman dan kabut tebal kehidupan sering kali membuat kita tidak mampu menyadari kehadiran-Nya. Kita menangis dalam kepedihan hati dan menjerit di hadapan Tuhan, "Di manakah Engkau, Tuhan?" Sebab, kita tidak menyadari bahwa la hadir begitu dekat dengan kita. la berjanji untuk tidak pernah membiarkan dan meninggalkan kita. Apa pun beban berat yang menindih dan tekanan yang membungkukkan kita, marilah kita bangkit, dan bertahan melawan arus dunia, serta menyadari bahwa la adalah Tuhan yang proaktif memberikan pertolongan. Tuhan Yesus memberkati. Doa:Tuhan Yesus, aku bersyukur bahwa Engkau selalu hadir di dekatku. Buatlah aku menyadarinya sehingga aku tetap tegar ketika menghadapi masalah. Amin. (Dod).

In dieser Sendung wollen wir uns wieder mit dem Leben von Abraham beschäftigen Der lebendige Gott hat ihn in die Schule des Glaubens genommen. Heute beschäftigen wir uns mit einem Textwort aus 1. Mose 13, 2-18. Als reicher Mann kehrt Abraham von Ägypten nach Kanaan zurück. "Sehr reich an Vieh, an Silber und Gold". So wird uns berichtet. Fast zuviel Gepäck, so will uns scheinen, für einen Mann, der doch als ein "Fremdling" im Lande Kanaan wohnen, wie ein Vorposten auf Wache stehen soll.

Ist das ein Gott der Liebe, der Völker aus Kanaan vertreibt, damit sein Volk dort wohnen kann? Das Video beantwortet diese Frage und zeigt, dass diese Völker ein wenigstens sechsfaches Zeugnis über Gott besaßen. Gott vertrieb sie, weil das Maß ihrer Sünden voll gewesen ist.

"Det er alltid en fordel at landet har en konge som sørger for at jorden blir dyrket." (Fork. 5, 8) Verset har ulike oversettelser. Det kan også sies at landets grøde er for alle, også kongen har fordel av det, altså og han får spise seg mett av det som dyrkes. Det står som motsetning til verset før som peker på persiske ledere som beriket seg på befolkningens bekostning eller brukte ressursene på ekspansjons-kriger.  Uansett tolkning er det bra om ledere sørger for at landet produsere mat til innbyggerne sine. Det gir fred, velstand og glede. Når det ble sagt at Kanaan fløt med melk og honning, betydde det grønne enger med saftig gras, frukttrær og blomster. Kort sagt, et land som gir mat til mennesker og dyr. Også for Norge er det en fordel om lederne sørger for at vi produserer mat. Mye kan kjøpes for penger i fredstid, men i kriser eller krig hjelper det ikke alltid med hard valuta. Norge består av mye fjell, kun 3-4 % er dyrkbart areal! De prosentene skulle vært utnyttet maks. Må Herren velsigne gård og grunn og grøde i landet vårt!  I dag vil jeg oppfordre deg til å være med og be for de som styrer landet vårt, at de støtter og oppmuntrer til og legger til rette for matproduksjon som vi trenger, og at vi ber Gud om å velsigne alt som blir produsert av mat her i landet.  Skrevet og lest av Eli Fuglestad for Norea Håpets Kvinner.

Bilangan 24: 2-7.15-17a; Mazmur tg 25: 4bc-5ab.6-7c.8-9; Matius 21: 23-27 JANGAN RAGU   Renungan kita pada hari ini bertema: Jangan Ragu. Ada dua orang muda yang sedang berpacaran tetapi mereka menghadapi satu persoalan yaitu keraguan. Si pemuda dikenal sebagai pekerja keras, bertanggung jawab dan mau berkorban. Tetapi kelemahan utamanya ialah rasa ragunya yang berlebihan. Banyak sekali keputusannya dibuat karena sangat didesak atau ditekan. Tetapi cinta mereka berdua tetap terjalin. Si pemudi berusaha untuk mengimbangi dan berusaha sedemikian supaya keyakinan sang pacar lebih kuat lalu keraguannya hilang.   Mereka berdua tidak sampai berpikir bahwa pacaran dan cinta yang semakin terjalin kuat itu akan gagal hanya karena faktor keraguan ada di satu pihak. Keraguan memang lebih condong kepada ketidakpastian di dalam membuat keputusan dan melakukan suatu tindakan, namun kelemahan itu dapat diatasi, karena mereka berdua menyadarinya dan bekerja sama untuk mengatasi.   Yang sangat ditakuti akan terjadi ialah kalau seorang peragu berubah menjadi tidak percaya. Suatu ketidakpercayaan adalah sikap yang sudah melewati batas rasa bingung atau tidak pasti, dan menjadi sebuah sikap yang tetap secara negatif atau bertentangan dengan percaya. Orang yang tidak percaya sudah mencapai tingkat sempurna dari sifat peragu, bingung, curiga dan prasangka. Tidak percaya berarti tidak setuju, menolak dan melawan.   Kejadian dengan Bileam, seorang nabi Baal orang-orang Kanaan yang diminta oleh para penguasa suku-suku setempat untuk bernubuat melawan kaum Israel yang sedang memasuki Kanaan, merupakan suatu contoh melawan keraguan. Roh Tuhan datang menghilangkan keraguan itu, dan Bileam justru berpihak kepada orang-orang Israel, pilihan Allah. Kepercayaan Bileam justru sangat berlawanan dengan orang-orang Kanaan dan para penguasa mereka.   Para pemuka Yahudi menumpukkan keraguan yang besar, dengan mempertanyakan kuasa yang dipakai oleh Yesus Kristus. Mereka tidak percaya Yohanes Pembaptis dan Yesus. Puncaknya ialah baik Yohanes Pembaptis maupun Yesus dibunuh. Mereka sama sekali tidak percaya dengan kebenaran dari Tuhan.   Banyak orang kudus di surga pernah menjadi pembawa terang bagi sesamanya ketika mereka masih hidup di dunia. Banyak orang benar di sekitar kita selalu berusaha untuk bersaksi tentang kebaikan dan kebenaran, supaya hidup kita sebagai pribadi dan bersama menemukan terang, dan dijauhkan dari kebingungan dan kesesatan. Terang yang kita dapatkan dari Roh Kudus harus dapat menghilangkan segala keraguan dan ketidakpercayaan manusia, khususnya kepada kebenaran ajaran Tuhan. Di dalam masa Adven ini, hendaknya tidak ada keraguan apa pun di dalam diri kita tentang kedatangan Tuhan kepada diri kita sendiri dan keluarga kita. Marilah kita berdoa. Dalam nama Bapa... Ya Tuhan, semoga kami teguh dalam iman dan pengharapan akan kedatangan-Mu. Salam Maria... Dalam nama Bapa...

(9) Wówczas zebrali się niektórzy z tak zwanej synagogi wyzwoleńców, do której należeli też Cyrenejczycy, Aleksandryjczycy oraz ludzie pochodzący z Cylicji i Azji, i rozprawiali ze Szczepanem. (10) Nie mogli jednak sprostać jego mądrości ani Duchowi, pod wpływem którego przemawiał. (11) Podstawili zatem osoby, które zeznały: Usłyszeliśmy, jak wypowiada bluźnierstwa przeciwko Mojżeszowi oraz Bogu. (12) W ten sposób podburzyli lud, starszych oraz znawców Prawa, zebrali się przeciwko niemu, schwytali go i zawlekli przed Wysoką Radę. (13) Tam również podstawili fałszywych świadków. Utrzymywali oni: Ten człowiek bez przerwy wypowiada się przeciwko temu świętemu miejscu oraz przeciwko Prawu. (14) Słyszeliśmy, jak mówi, że ten Jezus z Nazaretu zburzy to miejsce i zmieni zwyczaje przekazane nam przez Mojżesza. (15) A gdy wszyscy, którzy zasiadali w Wysokiej Radzie, utkwili w nim wzrok, uderzyło ich, że jego twarz przypomina oblicze anioła. Dz. 7,1-60 (1) Arcykapłan zapytał więc: Czy to prawda? (2) Wtedy Szczepan odpowiedział: Bracia i ojcowie, posłuchajcie! Bóg chwały ukazał się naszemu ojcu Abrahamowi, gdy ten przebywał w Mezopotamii i nie przeprowadził się jeszcze do Charanu. (3) Powiedział tam do niego: Wyjdź ze swej ziemi, opuść swą rodzinę i udaj się do ziemi, którą ci wskażę. (4) Abraham wyszedł zatem z ziemi Chaldejczyków i zamieszkał w Charanie. Stamtąd, po śmierci swojego ojca, Bóg przesiedlił go do tej ziemi, w której wy teraz mieszkacie. (5) W ziemi tej jednak nie dał mu ani żadnego działu, ani nawet jej skrawka. Obiecał natomiast, że da ją w posiadanie zarówno jemu, jak i jego potomstwu po nim, chociaż Abraham nie miał jeszcze dziecka. (6) W ten sposób Bóg zaznaczył, że potomkowie Abrahama będą mieszkać jako cudzoziemcy w obcej ziemi, że ujarzmią ich tam i będą krzywdzić przez czterysta lat, (7) a naród, któremu będą służyć, On osądzi — powiedział Bóg — po czym oni wyjdą i będą Mu służyli na tym miejscu. (8) Bóg też zawarł z Abrahamem przymierze obrzezania. Gdy więc urodził się Izaak, jego ojciec obrzezał go ósmego dnia, Izaak obrzezał Jakuba, a Jakub dwunastu patriarchów. (9) Patriarchowie, zazdroszcząc Józefowi, sprzedali go do Egiptu. Bóg jednak był z nim (10) i wyrwał go ze wszystkich jego niepowodzeń. Ponadto obdarzył go łaską i mądrością wobec faraona, króla Egiptu, tak że ten ustanowił go zarządcą Egiptu oraz całego swojego domu. (11) Potem na Egipt i na Kanaan spadła klęska głodu. Łączył się z tym wielki ucisk. Naszym ojcom zabrakło żywności. (12) Gdy Jakub usłyszał, że w Egipcie jest zboże, posłał tam naszych ojców po raz pierwszy. (13) Za drugim zaś razem Józef dał się poznać swoim braciom i faraon dowiedział się o jego pochodzeniu. Tam dokonał życia zarówno on, jak i nasi ojcowie. (16) Po śmierci przeniesiono ich do Sychem i złożono w grobowcu, który Abraham nabył za pieniądze od synów Hemmora z Sychem. (17) A gdy zbliżał się czas wypełnienia obietnicy, którą Bóg ogłosił Abrahamowi, lud rozrósł się i rozmnożył w Egipcie, (18) aż nastał w Egipcie inny król, który nie znał Józefa. (19) Ten postąpił z naszym rodem podstępnie i krzywdził naszych ojców, zmuszając ich do porzucania niemowląt i pozbawiania ich życia. (20) W tym czasie urodził się Mojżesz. Był on piękny w oczach Boga. Przez trzy miesiące karmiono go w domu ojca, (21) a gdy został porzucony, znalazła go córka faraona i wychowała go sobie jako syna. (22) Mojżesza wdrożono we wszelką mądrość Egipcjan, stał się człowiekiem dzielnym tak w mowie, jak i w czynie. (23) A kiedy ukończył czterdzieści lat, przyszło mu na myśl, że powinien odwiedzić swoich braci, synów Izraela. (24) W trakcie odwiedzin zobaczył, jak kogoś krzywdzono. Ujął się za nim i wymierzył mu sprawiedliwość, zadając cios Egipcjaninowi. (25) Sądził, że jego bracia zrozumieją, iż Bóg za jego pośrednictwem zsyła im ratunek — oni jednak nie zrozumieli. (26) Następnego dnia zjawił się, gdy z sobą walczyli. Chcąc ich nakłonić do zgody, powiedział: Ludzie, jesteście braćmi, dlaczego krzywdzicie jeden drugiego? (27) Wówczas ten, który krzywdził, odepchnął go i powiedział: Kto cię ustanowił przełożonym albo sędzią nad nami? (28) Czy chcesz mnie zabić, tak jak wczoraj zabiłeś Egipcjanina? (29) Te słowa sprawiły, że Mojżesz uciekł z Egiptu i stał się przychodniem w ziemi madiamskiej. Tam urodziło mu się dwóch synów. (30) Gdy się wypełniło dalszych czterdzieści lat, na pustyni, niedaleko góry Synaj, w ogniu płonącego krzaka, ukazał mu się anioł. (31) Mojżesza zdziwił ten widok. Lecz kiedy podchodził, by mu się dokładniej przypatrzyć, rozległ się głos Pana: (32) Ja jestem Bogiem twoich ojców, Bogiem Abrahama, Izaaka i Jakuba. Mojżesz, zdjęty strachem, nie śmiał nawet podnieść oczu. (33) Pan zaś powiedział do niego: Zdejmij obuwie ze swoich nóg, bo miejsce, na którym stoisz, jest ziemią świętą. (34) Napatrzyłem się na krzywdę mojego ludu w Egipcie, usłyszałem jego wzdychanie i zstąpiłem, aby go wybawić. Dlatego teraz idź! Posyłam cię do Egiptu. (35) Tego Mojżesza, którego się zaparli, mówiąc: Kto cię ustanowił przełożonym i sędzią?— tego właśnie Bóg posłał jako wodza i odkupiciela, przy wsparciu anioła, który mu się ukazał w krzaku. (36) On ich wyprowadził. Najpierw dzięki cudom i znakom, których dokonał w ziemi egipskiej i na Morzu Czerwonym, a potem dzięki tym, których — przez czterdzieści lat — dokonywał na pustyni. (37) Ten Mojżesz zapowiedział synom Izraela: Bóg spośród waszych braci wzbudzi wam proroka podobnego do mnie. (38) Ten Mojżesz przebywał w zgromadzeniu na pustyni z aniołem, który przemawiał do niego na górze Synaj, i z naszymi ojcami. On otrzymał słowa życia, aby nam je przekazać. (39) Jemu nasi ojcowie nie chcieli być posłuszni. Jego odsunęli i w swoich sercach zwrócili się w stronę Egiptu. (40) Powiedzieli bowiem do Aarona: Zrób nam bogów, którzy pójdą przed nami, bo nie wiemy, co się stało z tym Mojżeszem, który nas wyprowadził z ziemi egipskiej. (41) Uczynili też sobie wtedy cielca, złożyli ofiarę bożkowi i cieszyli się dziełami swoich rąk. (42) Z tego powodu Bóg odwrócił się od nich i wydał ich na służbę zastępom nieba, jak czytamy w zwoju Proroków: Czy to Mnie przez czterdzieści lat na pustyni składaliście zwierzęta i ofiary, domu Izraela? (43) Nosiliście raczej namiot Molocha oraz gwiazdę bożka Refana — wyobrażenia, które uczyniliście, aby się im kłaniać. Dlatego przesiedlę was poza Babilon. Kencan Dengan Tuhan - Kamis, 26 September 2024 Bacaan: "Tetapi hamba-Ku Kaleb, karena lain jiwa yang ada padanya dan ia mengikut Aku dengan sepenuhnya, akan Kubawa masuk ke negeri yang telah dimasukinya itu, dan keturunannya akan memilikinya." (Bilangan 14:24) Renungan: Ada dua belas orang diutus Musa untuk mengintai tanah Kanaan. Sepuluh orang memberikan laporan yang mengerikan dengan memberikan fakta bahwa penduduk negeri itu bertubuh raksasa dan garang. Selain itu, Kanaan adalah kota yang kuat dan berbenteng. Een oude kwestie die ook in onze tijd speelt: wie is eigenlijk de eigenaar van het land Israël?Er is een tekst in de Bijbel, de eerste tekst, het eerste vers dat luidt: “In het begin schiep God de hemel en de aarde.” Misschien beter vertaald als “toen God een begin maakte met de schepping van hemel en aarde,” als een soort opschrift.Dit vers gaf aanleiding tot een commentaar van Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki, geboren in Troyes, Frankrijk, 1040 en gestorven in 1105. Hij was een van de belangrijkste verklaarders van zowel de Tenach, de Joodse Bijbel, als de Talmud. Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki, ook wel bekend als Rashi, schreef een commentaar op het eerste vers van de Bijbel: “Beresjiet bara Elohim et ha'shamayim ve'et ha'aretz.”In het Hebreeuws zijn er merkwaardige zaken aan dit vers te ontdekken. “Beresjiet” betekent “in het begin van,” en “bara” betekent “hij schiep.” Grammaticaal kunnen deze woorden niet samen gaan. Daarom moet men begrijpen dat God in Zijn wijsheid koos om Israël het land te geven vanwege hun rol in Zijn plan. Het “begin”  kan immers zowel slaan op de Torah (het begin van Zijn weg) en op Israel (het begin van Zijn oogst).God schiep hemel en aarde om Israël een plaats te geven waar zij Zijn wetten konden naleven. De Torah is immers het begin van Gods weg in de wereld. Kencan Dengan Tuhan - Selasa, 25 Juni 2024 Bacaan: "Sebab itu terimalah satu akan yang lain, sama seperti Kristus juga telah menerima kita, untuk kemuliaan Allah." (Roma 15:7) Renungan: Di dalam kehidupan sosial yang kita jalani, terkadang keberadaan orang-orang di sekitar kita membuat kita merasa terusik. Hal ini pernah dialami oleh bangsa Israel, di mana Tuhan ingin membentuk dan menguji bangsa ini menjadi suatu bangsa yang kuat, baik secara mental maupun secara rohani. Pada suatu masa di mana bangsa Israel belum menjadi kerajaan, yaitu pada zaman pendudukan Kanaan, Tuhan membiarkan bangsa tersebut dicobai. Tuhan ingin melatih bangsa itu menjadi bangsa yang kuat, mampu berperang, dan mengandalkan Tuhan. "Maksudnya hanyalah, supaya keturunan-keturunan orang Israel yang tidak mengenal perang yang sudah-sudah, dilatih berperang oleh TUHAN." (Hak 3:2). Di samping itu, Tuhan juga ingin menguji hati bangsa Israel apakah mereka masih berpaut sepenuhnya kepada Tuhan walaupun situasi sulit datang menghimpit. Namun, sangat disayangkan karena dalam situasi seperti itu, tindakan umat Israel mengecewakan Tuhan. "Mereka mengambil anak-anak perempuan, orang-orang itu menjadi isteri mereka dan memberikan anak-anak perempuan mereka kepada anak-anak lelaki orang-orang itu, serta beribadah kepada allah orang-orang itu." (Hak 3:6) Terkadang kita bertanya mengapa Tuhan membiarkan orang-orang yang menjengkelkan, iri hati, dan suka menindas, berada di sekitar kita. Ingatlah selalu bahwa Tuhan sering kali mengajari kita melalui kondisi sulit di sekitar kita. Kita tidak perlu mengeluh tentang keberadaan mereka. Saat bertemu dengan orang yang selalu menyakiti kita, sapalah mereka dengan senyuman. Bukankah melalui dia Tuhan menjadikan kita orang-orang yang sabar dan kuat? Saat kita bertemu seseorang yang telah mengkhianati kita, ada baiknya kita berbicara dengannya. Karena jika bukan karena dia, kita akan terlalu mudah mempercayai semua orang. Memang sulit untuk melakukan semua ini dengan kekuatan kita. Untuk itu mintalah kekuatan dan kemampuan dari Roh Kudus. Jika kita mampu melewati kondisi sulit dengan kemenangan, maka kita sudah maju selangkah secara rohani. Oleh karena itu, jika ada orang yang membuat kita kesal, pandanglah mereka sebagai alat Tuhan. Hanya dengan sikap menerima, bersyukur, dan mau belajar melalui kesulitan yang ada kita akan mengalami kemenangan. Petiklah manfaat dari setiap situasi yang kita alami! Tuhan Yesus memberkati. Doa: Tuhan Yesus, aku bersyukur dengan keberadaan orang-orang yang ada di sekitarku. Berilah aku hati yang selalu bersyukur atas kehadiran mereka sehingga aku bisa menerima mereka apa adanya. Amin. Maka Ham, bapa Kanaan itu, melihat aurat ayahnya, lalu diceritakannya kepada kedua saudaranya di luar." (Kejadian 9:21-22) Renungan: Jika kita mencermati kisah Nuh, kita akan segera mengerti bahwa Nuh memang manusia biasa. la sama sekali bukan orang sakti melainkan orang biasa yang tetap memiliki kelemahan dan keterbatasan. Buktinya, tidak lama setelah keluar dari bahtera, Nuh yang membuat kebun anggur, keasyikan minum sehingga menjadi mabuk. Dalam kondisi mabuk, tanpa sadar ia telanjang sehingga kelihatan auratnya. la pun lepas kendali, ketika sadar dari mabuknya karena mengetahui bahwa Ham berbuat sesuatu yang tidak berkenan di hatinya (ay.24-25). Jadi, apa yang bisa kita teladani dari kehidupan Nuh? Kesediaannya untuk taat kepada perintah Allah, sekalipun sebenarnya sangat sukar untuk dipenuhi. Dampak dari ketaatannya, istri, ketiga anaknya, dan ketiga menantunya pun diselamatkan. Sepanjang sejarah kehidupan manusia, sering kali Allah tidak mencari orang yang hebat di hadapan manusia untuk menjadi pelaksana firman- Nya. la justru sering memakai orang-orang biasa yang dianggap bodoh, tidak terpandang, atau yang dianggap hina tetapi bergantung sepenuhnya kepada Allah dan bersedia melakukan kehendak-Nya. Kuncinya adalah ketaatan untuk melakukan kehendak-Nya. Pertanyaannya, apakah kita adalah orang yang Dia cari? Tuhan Yesus memberkati. Doa: Tuhan Yesus, ajarilah aku untuk selalu bergantung hanya pada-Mu dan taat pada perintah-Mu. Amin. (Dod).
