Another frustrating loss. Too often in close games, this season, the St Kilda Football Club has come up short. Richmond made a Considerable Statement to the rest of the competition on Wednesday night stating that they are the reigning premiers and if you want to be considered a premiership favourite, you gottta beat us at the Gabba, Metricom, Adelaide Oval and the Moon. The Doggies were viciously mauled by the hungry big cats who piled on the pain at Metricon Stadium with Dusty back to his best form with some crazy good goals and 26 disposals for safe measuring reminding us that he is the TRUE TIGER KING, sorry Joe. A very costly tennis match mid-week for the Pies coaches has cost them a win against the out of the eight Dockers but here's the thing, they played like a team storming into the top 4, with their young guns and superstar chilling up forward the Dockers were rocking. Plus it always helps if you have some valuable intel from the Pies coaching box. David Mundy the after the siren specialist celebrated the win with a goal after the siren albeit under not as much pressure as in the past. Not a good week from the Pies but a very good one for the Dockers, go grab your purple macaroons, cakes and dare I say it sausages from the Fremantle Market this week to really put a Cerra on top of the cake in savoring the win.
