Francois-Marie Banier is facing an uphill battle in French courts when he learns he's being sued by Liliane Bettencourt's only daughter, Francoise. When the French media learn of the accusations of financial abuse against the L'Oreal heiress, he becomes the butt of a joke, twisting the L'Oreal slogan, “Because he's worth it.” But thanks to a nosy butler and 20 hours of secret recordings, a new scandal overtakes Francois-Marie's melodrama: Mediapart, a scrappy, new newspaper, gets a hold of the recordings and accusations fly, this time sweeping up Nicholas Sarkozy and a web of alleged illegal campaign donations, tax shelters, and new villains in the massive tangle that is the Bettencourt Affair. The former French president denies the accusations. Also in the programme: Hamas has released a list of 34 hostages that it says it is willing to release in the first stage of a potential ceasefire agreement with Israel. The Real Housewives of Miami's lipstick lesbian Julia Lemigova has a past so wild it sounds like a story from a spy novel. She once dated one of Europe's wealthiest bankers Édouard Stern, who was shot dead in a latex S&M suit during a kinky encounter with his married mistress. Years before that, Julia and Édouard's baby was murdered and the circumstances of the death were hidden for years. The mystery runs so deep that it involves everybody from a disappearing Bulgarian nanny to former French president Nicholas Sarkozy.  Before that, Jacques questions Lala Kent's motives for throwing her cheating fiancé Randall Emmett under the bus. Is she just a woman scorned or is she trying to distance herself from Randall's shady business dealings? Zack Peter from No Filter also joins Jacques to talk about the fallout from his interview with Dallas Housewife Kameron Westcott, which caused Tiffany Moon to go on a social media rampage against the Westcotts for a week.  For more content, subscribe to Unpopular on Patreon! Explicamos tudo no episódio desta semana. Vuelve a París, claro.
