Di continuare a parlare del comico avremmo fatto volentieri a meno, se non fosse che lui ci ha messo del suo intervenendo come ospite, domenica scorsa, alla trasmissione di Fabio Fazio "Che tempo che fa" sul Nove.Molti dimenticano che Beppe Grillo, che voleva moralizzare l'Italia e «aprire il Parlamento come una scatoletta di tonno» insieme al suo Movimento 5 Stelle, è un pregiudicato, condannato in Cassazione molti anni fa per omicidio di tre amici in auto. Lo hanno dimenticato anche quelli che per anni si sono fidati di lui, votando per i pentastellati.Domenica sera nel salotto di Fazio ha candidamente ammesso di essere un fallito e ha di fatto intonato il de profundis al Movimento 5 Stelle, riconoscendo i suoi limiti. «Io sono qui per sapere chi sono e cosa pensate di me e chi siete voi - ha esordito -. Io sono il peggiore, sì sono il peggiore. Io ho peggiorato questo Paese, non c'è battuta. Dopo l'ultima intervista con Vespa abbiamo perso elezioni, quelli che ho mandato affanculo sono al governo quindi sono il peggiore».CONTRO TUTTI GLI EX AMICIHa attaccato i suoi ex compagni di avventura, da Giuseppe Conte a Luigi Di Maio, fino ad arrivare a Davide Casaleggio. Si è meritato, insomma, un bel "vaffa" dal pubblico, quello stesso "vaffa" che lui e il suo esercito di mediocri hanno per diversi lustri rivolto a tutti i cittadini onesti che si vedevano ingiustamente additati al pubblico ludibrio in nome di un qualunquismo becero. Ci riferiamo al cosiddetto ceto medio, che porta avanti il Paese da sempre, che paga le tasse, si sveglia presto per andare a lavorare e rispetta il prossimo senza offenderlo. Invece i compagni di merende del comico autoproclamatosi "fallito" erano i parassiti della società, quelli che non ce l'hanno fatta perché proprio non potevano farcela, perché non avevano nulla per potercela fare. Oggi si direbbe i "rosiconi", che alimentano l'odio sociale e incarnano il nichilismo assoluto, il vuoto pneumatico, la mancanza assoluta di idee e principi.Hanno approfittato della mediocrità del resto della classe politica per illudere l'opinione pubblica e per circa dieci anni ci sono riusciti. Hanno conquistato il potere e un minuto dopo hanno dimenticato ogni vincolo di correttezza con i cittadini, ogni promessa elettorale per tuffarsi voracemente nella gestione del potere, dimostrando la loro palese inadeguatezza e contribuendo a peggiorare il livello delle istituzioni e della gestione della cosa pubblica. I più lesti come Luigi Di Maio, che erano probabilmente anche i più consapevoli di essere stati sopravvalutati, si sono barcamenati e ora sopravvivono. Degli altri come Danilo Toninelli, solo per fare un nome tra i più emblematici e imbarazzanti, non è rimasta alcuna traccia. Se perfino Casaleggio, figlio del fondatore (insieme con Grillo) del Movimento 5 Stelle dichiara che bisognerebbe far scorrere i titoli di coda e mettere fine all'esperienza politica inaugurata dal padre, significa che il fallimento del grillismo può dirsi compiuto.Quello che in molti credevano poter essere il rimedio alla partitocrazia si è rivelato la manifestazione più acuta della patologia partitocratica. La lottizzazione, anche delle briciole, è stata la cifra dominante dei grillini, mediocri senza né arte né parte che hanno occupato le istituzioni senza sapere neppure perché, trovandosi a guidare in un mare in tempesta senza neppure averne alcuna capacità.L'Italia del post-grillismo è decisamente peggiore della precedente e l'ultima apparizione del comico pregiudicato Beppe Grillo ne è la più nitida e inequivocabile conferma. L'aver ammesso di essere un perdente non toglie nulla alle sue responsabilità, al male fatto da lui e dai suoi sodali all'Italia che produce. Da Fazio è riuscito anche a pronunciare concetti di stampo sovietico come il dovere di punire chi consuma troppo, tassandolo doppiamente, o quello di distribuire il reddito di cittadinanza universale, per premiare chi non lavora. Frasi inverosimili e offensive nei confronti del popolo italiano, che forse ora ha finalmente capito la vera natura di Beppe Grillo, un comico pregiudicato, e del grillismo, l'antitesi della meritocrazia.

Selon le procureur anti-mafia Nicola Gratteri qui a mené la vaste enquête ayant abouti à ce procès fleuve, la 'Ndrangheta « ne tue plus, elle corrompt ». Sur le banc des accusés, étaient présents des cadres de l'administration italienne accusés de complicité, et même des élus. Parmi eux, un ancien sénateur de Forza Italia, le parti de Silvio Berlusconi, condamné à onze de prison. Ce procès visait un seul clan, celui des Mancuso, une cellule parmi d'autres d'une organisation très cloisonnée et donc très difficile à noyauter.Coopération internationalePour l'éradiquer, l'Italie s'appuie désormais sur la coopération internationale. This also marks the first time Jenny has returned to Leeds since her outing in Aladdin in 2010. Si tratta di forme di agitazione contro manovre economiche dei vari esecutivi di centrodestra, centrosinistra, tecnici, messe in campo per l'affermazione di diritti negati ai lavoratori oppure a sostegno di contratti collettivi rimasti disattesi. E i Governi in carica hanno scelto linee politiche differenti e l'interlocuzione con i corpi intermedi si è nel tempo dipanata tra momenti di forte scontro come nel caso dello sciopero generale del 1994 che ha determinato la caduta del primo Governo a guida Silvio Berlusconi, durante il braccio di ferro sulla riforma dello statuto dei lavoratori con i due milioni in piazza portati dalla Cgil di Sergio Cofferati al Circo Massimo di Roma, ma anche di lunghi anni di dialogo. Nello scontro tra il ministro Matteo Salvini e Cgil e Uil manca lo snodo più importante del rapporto tra chi governa e chi rappresenta le istanze dei lavoratori: la concertazione. Si è arrivati allo sciopero generale di venerdì 17 novembre indetto da Landini della Cgil e Bombardieri della Uil, senza però l'adesione di Sbarra della Cisl, dopo audaci annunci d'effetto da parte del Governo di Giorgia Meloni, poi smentiti per la mancanza complessiva di risorse da immettere nella manovra economica. Le critiche all'impianto della legge di bilancio giungono dalle parti più disparate del sistema economico del Paese: dalla Corte dei Conti a Bankitalia, a Confindustria, all'Anci. Nella sostanza, come rilevato ad esempio da Bankitalia, il forte debito italiano crea vulnerabilità. Non ci sono investimenti sulle imprese, come ammette Confindustria. E il sindacato parla di manovra iniqua. In una situazione economica come questa servirebbe una nuova fase di ascolto e di concertazione tra Governo e corpi intermedi, più che avviare uno scontro dannoso per l'intero sistema Paese. Nelle ultime settimane diverse banche italiane hanno comunicato che non pagheranno la cosiddetta tassa sugli extraprofitti, introdotta ad agosto per tassare i guadagni aggiuntivi ottenuti con l'aumento generalizzato dei tassi di interesse su mutui e prestiti. Le banche hanno deciso di sfruttare una possibilità prevista espressamente dalla legge come alternativa al pagamento: useranno due volte e mezzo la somma che avrebbero dovuto versare allo Stato per aumentare le loro riserve, una pratica che in sintesi serve a rendere i loro bilanci più solidi. Su queste riserve, le banche pagheranno le tasse o andranno a scalfire l'imponibile? In queste ore si sta svolgendo l'ultima tornata di audizioni davanti alle commissioni Bilancio di Camera e Senato. Oggi ha parlato in audizione il ministro dell Economia, Giancarlo Giorgetti. Dopodiché toccherà al governo fare una sintesi delle richieste emerse e mettere mano ad uno stringato pacchetto di emendamenti. Cosa pensa di questa manovra Tremonti? C'è abbastanza per stimolare la crescita e gli investimenti? L'ex ministro Tremonti è stato uno dei primi ad incentivare le politiche per l'offerta con la legge Tremonti Bis (2001), che prevede l'esclusione dall'imposizione sul reddito del 50% degli investimenti in formazione. Domani, infine, è previsto l'atteso incontro a San Francisco tra Biden e il presidente cinese Xi Jinping. Quella tra Usa e Cina è una relazione competitiva, che può facilmente virare verso il conflitto se non viene gestita bene, ha avvertito il consigliere americano per la Sicurezza nazionale Jake Sullivan. Tra i temi c'è anche varare un accordo per limitare produzione ed esportazione del Fentanyl. Nato come potente antidolorifico, è la droga preferita dai giovani negli Stati Uniti. Nello specifico, gli Stati Uniti vogliono che la Cina utilizzi la sua influenza sull'Iran per dissuadere Teheran dall'entrare in guerra ed evitare un conflitto regionale. Biden e Xi si sono incontrati l'ultima volta nel novembre dello scorso anno durante il G20 a Bali. In quell'occasione concordarono di mantenere contatti regolari dopo anni di deterioramento delle relazioni bilaterali a causa della guerra commerciale tra i due Paesi, della situazione a Taiwan o militari nel Mar Cinese Meridionale. Ma questi sforzi sono naufragati lo scorso febbraio, quando Washington ha accusato Pechino di aver inviato un pallone spia cinese nello spazio aereo statunitense. L'ultimo viaggio di Xi negli Stati Uniti è avvenuto nell'aprile 2017, quando incontrò l'allora presidente Donald Trump (2017-2021) in Florida. A parte la sua importantissima dimensione geopolitica, il vertice di domani di Joe Biden e Xi Jinping potrà avere un risultato consistente per la lotta che gli Stati Uniti da anni conducono contro l'epidemia di fentanyl, una droga 50 volte più potente dell'eroina che, secondo i dati dei Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, provoca la morte di oltre 150 persone al giorno per overdose. In particolare la spesa dei consumatori è tornata ai massimi storici, trainata da una ripresa della socialità e dei viaggi. Anche il mercato dei beni di lusso personali cresce nel 2023, con un giro d'affari stimato di 362 miliardi entro la fine dell'anno (+4% sul 2022). Restano le incertezze sull'ultimo trimestre del 2023 considerate le variabili relative alla fiducia dei consumatori, alle tensioni macroeconomiche in Cina, al conflitto tra Israele e Gaza, agli scarsi segnali di ripresa negli Stati Uniti e, per l'Europa, a un aumento dei tassi di interesse e un'inflazione ancora elevata. Stessi elementi di incertezza che rimarranno nel 2024, anche se si stima una crescita delle marginalità delle imprese di circa +4%. Per quanto riguarda i consumatori, i cinesi restano i 'best performer' anche se a livelli inferiori rispetto agli anni pre Covid-19, con un +10%. Asiatici e giapponesi nel 2024 vedranno rispettivamente un incremento del 7% e del 5%, mentre sono gli europei quelli che risentiranno maggiormente. Sul fronte dei prodotti, invece, gli accessori continuano nel loro trend positivo: +6,5% per la pelletteria e +5% per le calzature. La cosmesi (+5%) è trainata dallo skin care, dal makeup e dai profumi di nicchia soprattutto negli Stati Uniti. Per l'abbigliamento si stima una crescita del 4% con la ripresa di un abbigliamento meno casual e prosegue il trend positivo della gioielleria (+5,5%) e degli orologi (+3,5%). Il canale retail - sia fisico che digitale - continua ad essere in crescita: i negozi fisici prevedono un +7,5% mentre per il retail digitale si prevede un +4,5% per il 2024. Sinds maandag wordt Pieter Omtzigt niet meer met fluwelen handschoenen aangepakt, maar werd in NRC tussen het minutenlang zwijgen door de aanval geopend door niemand dan Laurens Dassen, waarna de andere lijsttrekkers die ontevreden zijn over het niet beantwoorden van de premiersvraag, het niet door laten rekenen van het partijprogramma en zijn gefilosofeer over rechtse minderheidskabinetten, snel volgden. The Vesuvius Challenge aims to use AI to unlock the texts in the papyrus scrolls that were carbonised when the Roman city of Herculaneum was covered in ash and pumice after the eruption of the Vesuvius volcano in 79 AD. Brent Seales, the computer scientist behind the project, discusses the technologies involved and his optimism for a positive outcome. Then, Andrew Wallace-Hadrill, director of research and honorary professor of Roman Studies at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, tells us about Herculaneum and the Villa of the Papyri where the scrolls were recovered, and considers what the papyri might contain. Poco distante c'è anche il nome del procuratore Francesco Saverio Borrelli che ha indagato Berlusconi, il che ci potrebbe indurre a pensare che da vivi uno dei due mentisse. La figlia dell'ex procuratore di Milano, Federica Borrelli ha provato a farlo notare: “Berlusconi è un personaggio che ha creato imbarazzi a un intero Paese, e questa iscrizione crea ulteriore imbarazzo”, ha dichiarato. D'accordo con lei ci sono almeno le 40mila persona che hanno firmato una petizione per chiedere al Comune di Milano di ripensarci. Niente da fare. Così ieri sotto una pioggia battente la presidente del Consiglio comunale, Elena Buscemi, non ha potuto evitare di ricordare quanto la figura di Berlusconi sia stata “apprezzata ma anche criticata“, come scritto anche alle motivazioni della commissione del comune che letteralmente parla di meriti “tanto apprezzati quanto criticati”. In de turbulente, naoorlogse jaren vijftig waren er meer vluchtelingen, meer ontheemden op drift, relatief en absoluut. Dit vertellen komt verschillende partijen niet goed uit. Om aandacht en prioriteit te krijgen kun je maar beter rampen verkondigen!Met Hein de Haas doorlopen we een aantal mythen die in de huidige verkiezingscampagne hardnekkig terugkeren en allesbehalve behulpzaam zijn voor effectief en zinvol beleid. Bovendien blijkt keer op keer dat er allerminst sprake is van een fenomeen achter de Hollandse dijken. Van veel buurlanden kan ook Nederland het nodige leren. En afleren.Ten eerste blijkt keer op keer dat kunstmatige reducties, quota en bovengrenzen alleen voor de bühne en op korte termijn indruk maken. Effect hebben ze zelden. Trumps muur, NSC's saldo van 50.000 migranten of het maximum van 15.000 asielstatusverkrijgers bij BBB lijden allemaal aan dit euvel. "Omtzigts 50.000 betekent ook 1 miljoen mensen erbij binnen 20 jaar, nietwaar?" De mechanismen om zulke kunstmatige restricties te laten werken trekken eerder extra migranten aan, zoals bleek bij Brexit. En ook bij de invoering van de 'Schengenvisa'. Ze klinken stoer, maar lossen niets op.Ten tweede is de aandacht voor 'arbeidsmigratie' zeker de moeite waard, maar dan moeten wel de feiten en realiteit leidend zijn. Wie een vrije economie wil, een flexibele arbeidsmarkt en slimme internationale connecties daarbij kan niet tegelijk roepen dat arbeidsmigratie een groot gevaar vormt.De zeer diverse vraag naar talent, menskracht en ook tijdelijke inzet daarvan is de belangrijkste oorzaak van migratiestromen. Wie daarop wil navigeren, zal de ruimte voor arbeid, banen en de vraag daarnaar moeten sturen. Dat geldt eveneens voor de opleidingen voor zulke banen en kansen daarop. De discussie over migratie is er dus een over werk, economische kansen en hun keuzen en beperkingen. Ook GroenLinks-PvdA en andere progressieve groeperingen kunnen dat niet negeren, waarschuwt De Haas. En de Italiaanse premier Meloni en in Hongarije Orbán laten cynisch zien hoe bij hen op dit punt anders gehandeld wordt dan gepraat!Ten derde is er de legendevorming rond emigratie uit arme landen. Feit is dat in het Westen vooral mensen uit opklimmende landen hun plek vinden. Van Mexico tot Turkije, van Marokko tot India. Vaak veel groter is de migratie tussen landen in the Global South.Hein de Haas vertelt hoe hij al decennia in de Todra Vallei in Marokko de realiteit van deze ontwikkelingen volgt. Migratie en werk elders zijn heel rationele, doeltreffende acties van juist de betergevormden die elders aan de slag kunnen. In regio's met grote conflicten of natuurrampen in Afrika vluchtten de armste en minst opgeleiden vooral naar buurgebieden. Ideeën bij D66 en vele jaren van Silvio Berlusconi voor een soort Marshall Plan voor Afrika om mensen van migratie naar Europa af te houden, zijn dan ook een denkfout. Eerder gebeurt het omgekeerde.Ten vierde klinkt ook al decennia dat 'de integratie is mislukt'. Cijfers over de bloei, kennisniveaus en ondernemerschap spreken zeker ook in Nederland andere taal. Uit de historie blijkt trouwens dat deze redenering al sinds halverwege de 19e eeuw klinkt bij elke nieuwe stroom arbeidsmigranten. De Haas wijst op segmenten onder migrantengroepen die bij hun integratie in laagwaardig en onzeker werk blijven steken. Daar moet en kan met doelgericht beleid rond taal en baankansen bewust gewerkt worden aan integratiesucces. Kritische geluiden op dit punt van de Britse minister Suella Braverman of bij ons Dilan Yeşilgöz bewijzen ironisch genoeg vooral dat de integratie allerminst mislukt is. Als migrantenkinderen vereenzelvigen zij zich immers met de bekende klachten!Zeer te spreken is De Haas over initiatieven als de staatscommissie-Van Zwol, die op dit moment de demografische veranderingen op lange termijn onderzoekt en daarover met een rapport komt. Want: ”De gouden regel hier is coherentie van beleid. Mid Bedfordshire has elected its first Labour MP since the 1930s, and Tamworth also swung towards the Labour Party. Here are my notes on the cycle I mention.* With the intention of making the world better, we deny obvious reality (race doesn't exist, men and women are the same, trans women are just like biological women, it's not too late to stop climate change, we can buy our way out of global collapse, etc.);* We silence and shame anyone who openly questions these narratives: fire professors who say there may be innate differences in math skills between boys and girls (Larry Summers), cancel culture, deplatforming, etc.* Control acceptable language: force us to use weird pronouns and respect whatever identity people claim, Latinx, “non-men,” “people with vaginas,” n-word, c-word, etc.* This creates a huge market for anyone willing to speak these forbidden truths. But it's very risky. So who steps up?* The already wealthy (invulnerable) Berlusconi, Trump, Murdoch. Those with nothing to lose (Fuck the Police), punk, early rock. Podcasters/comics (insulated from economic impact). The wounded (Tate: “I get bored too fast. I need to be distracted. I need to be stressed at all times.
