#MenschMahler - Die Podcast Kolumne - podcast eins GmbH

Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

This week, our goal was to "unmask the deception" in Aaron Solomon's 911 call (with the help of the brilliant Paul Maillardet from the Peter Hyatt Statement Analysis team). 911 calls are often a lifeline in emergencies, connecting distressed individuals with first responders who can provide assistance.  However, some 911 calls require a trained ear to detect a lack of integrity or truth. Thanks to the diligent work of the Statement Analysis Team, major red flags have been brought to light in this episode. Why did police not pick up on these three years ago?SHOW NOTES:https://www.hyattanalysis.com/https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-get-justice-for-granthttps://www.change.org/p/please-help-me-investigate-the-mysterious-death-of-my-son-grant-solomonCONCLUSION NOTES:1.     Did the caller prioritize Grant's plight?    No 2.     Did the caller facilitate the flow of information to help Grant?   No3.     Did the caller show empathy towards Grant?   No4.     Did the caller indicate for subtle blaming of the victim?  Yes 5.     Did the caller distance himself from Grant? Yes 6.     Did the caller describe the attempts to save Grant?  No 7.     Did the caller ask for help in saving Grant?  (instructions, guidance) No 8.     Did the caller address Grant's current state to better help responders? No9.     Did the caller indicate for candor in this call?  No SOME NOTES ABOUT THE BEHAVIOR OF THE CALLER:He has a need to explain, repeatedly, that he does not know how this happened is unexpected while his son is in such danger. Constantly: blaming the car , blaming the victim, blaming the infinite possibilities, delaying by invoking God and not demanding help is not the way to save your son's lifeDISCLAIMER:The following podcast episode features commentary and insights from a team of statement analysts. I was so excited to interview the author Louise Beech, as I've not only read all of her books, both published and unpublished, but she's a dear friend too! It took many years and many rejections for Louise Beech to finally get a book deal in 2015. Her debut, How to be Brave, got to No4 on Amazon and was a Guardian Readers' Pick; Maria in the Moon was described as ‘quirky, darkly comic and heartfelt' by the Sunday Mirror; The Lion Tamer Who Lost shortlisted for the Popular Romantic Novel of 2019 at the RNA Awards and longlisted for the Polari Prize 2019; Call Me Star Girl longlisted for the Guardian's Not The Booker Prize and was Best magazine's Best Book of the Year 2019; I Am Dust was a Crime Magazine Monthly Pick; and This Is How We Are Human was a Clare Mackintosh Book Club pick.  Louise's memoir Daffodils will be released in audiobook 1st April, exploring a shocking family suicide attempt and a difficult childhood. Nothing Else, her eight novel, will be released 23rd June. Today we are going to explore writing a memoir and how that impacted her... Some key points from our interviewHow even though she felt like she had been broken in the past, she's not unbroken as she was never truly brokenHow she reversed her decision in writing her memoir after her mother jumped off the Humber bridge and miraculously survived How she wanted to look back over her difficult childhood, childhood trauma and the challenging relationship with her mother to make sense of it and possibly retrieve some of her deeply buried memoriesHow growing up with a mother that has a narcissistic personality disorder shaped her into stepping into a mothering and nurturing role from a very young ageHow she knows that even though her mind has deeply buried memories around childhood sexual abuse, and she can't currently access them, her body knows and remembers the traumaHow from a very young age, writing has always been a therapy and escapism for her.Hosted by Madeleine Black, the show will share stories of all the amazing people Madeleine has met on her own journey as an author/speaker and these stories will heal, motivate, inspire and bring hope when they share their wisdom and knowledge with her.She really believes in the power that comes when we share our stories, that in fact we are not story tellers but story healers. Tune in to discover what helped them to stay unbroken and together we will discover that none of us are broken beyond repair. You can find out more about Madeleine, her story and her memoir, Unbroken,  from her website: https://madeleineblack.co.uk/Watch via YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/c/MadeleineBlackUnbroken You can listen to the full extended series of incredible stories on https://podfollow.com/unbroken-healing-through-storytelling

On April 24, 2021, my dear friend, Heidi McLaren joined me and our fellow campers around the proverbial campfire to discuss her lifelong journey to creativity. While Heidi is no stranger to creativity—she was a poetry writer when she was a teenage girl, and, as a new mom, had a business sewing kids' clothing, and now she bakes and cooks amazing meals for her family—she's only recently tapped into the more painterly side of her inner artist, and has discovered her love for sketching, watercolours, and acrylics. We have an intimate conversation about those scary moments staring at a blank canvas, we talked about the sadness that came at the end of her 100 Day Project this year, and we talked about things that are no longer serving us that need to be let go of in order to make room for things that lift us up and fill us with joy. This conversation is sure to inspire anybody looking to incorporate more creative play into their day. Tina Earnshaw is a make-up veteran, having either designed the make-up or worked on principal actors on - wait for it - Titanic, Emma, Mama Mia, Shakespeare In Love, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Hamlet, and many, many others. She's been nominated twice for an Oscar, and is revered within the industry for her ability to create a classically beautiful face: think perfected skin, enhanced eyes, and full, pouty lips. Her work makes the individual features of an actor pop without applying what appears to be an awful lot of make-up. It's quite the feat.In this episode, Tina talks about her early make-up influences, how she came to work initially in Max Factor and then for the BBC, before deciding to try her hand at films. She also tells anecdotes about some of the people she's worked with, detailing Kate Winslet's eyelash curling meditative moment, and Pierce Brosnan's despair at his dog dying. Her stories are all told with Tina's trademark warmth, which I suspect may be part of the reason actors are said to find her company such a tonic when on set.Tina last year launched Tina Earnshaw Brushes, and hers are truly brushes of very high quality that have clearly been designed with a make-up artist's meticulous attention to detail. The No6 eyeliner brush, No4 slanted brush, and No2 blush brush are particularly stand out.Tina's product mentions include:- Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner- Fracas by Robert Piguet- Le Dix by Balenciaga- La Prairie Skin Caviar Concealer Foundation in Honey Glow- La Prairie Light Fantastic Cellular Concealing Brightening Eye Treatment in Shade 10- Armani Eyes To Kill Mascara- Kevyn Aucoin The Eye Pencil in Basic Brown- Kevyn Aucoin The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in MediumBeauty Full Lives is hosted by Madeleine Spencer, produced by Charlie Jones, and with artwork by Sung Lee. 21/11/2017 Reconnexion Âmique : « Connexion avec les enfants d'aujourd'hui » No4 avec Magali Magdara Dans la continuité des séances de Reconnexion Âmique, nous vous proposons, Stéphane et moi, un nouveau programme qui peut se vivre indépendamment ou à la suite.
