This week's guest was very entertaining and a delight to have in the studio: Charlie Hill-Smith - filmmaker, thespian, failed comedian, cartoonist and the list goes on. Charlie hails from Tanunda, South Australia, and his life changed forever when he went on exchange to Indonesia as a school-leaver, forging enduring links and opening his eyes to the people and politics of the region, eventually heading to West Papua and a hiking trip led by Dani guides where he got to meet the oldest farmers in the world. Charlie has led a colourful life, from starting Adelaide's longest-running comedy club, The Rhino Room, to spoofing as a food critic. He is currently launching Crime Scene Australia, a revisionist, gonzo comic book, in collaboration with 3CRs own Robert Thorpe. You will enjoy hearing some of Charlie's story and we thank him very much for being our guest this week.Crime Scene Australia - Edition One launches at Wolfhound Cafe, 386 Brunswick St, Fitzroy, 6pm, Thursday December 1st 2022Charlies Youtube channel is called The House of Red Monkey

It was a great pleasure to recently interview Joe White with a special guest cameo from his mate and fellow comedian with a very bright future Denmark's very own Daniel Nielsen who has been the warm-up act for Joe at the Adelaide Fringe. Joe has won the Fringe World Best Comedy Weekly Award for four years running, he's appeared on Australia's Got Talent and has also appeared on Sam Mac's Virtual Pub Quiz on Sunrise last year with yours truly. We discussed Joe's show ‘Ethiopian Still Not Hungry' which he's been performing at the Howling Owl at the Adelaide Fringe with special guest appearances at The Rhino Room and Phat Cave and we also learnt how his tough upbringing led to him getting the passion for comedy. Thanks so much to Joe and Daniel for their time, to the team at Podbooth for putting the fantastic video together and our partner Anytime Fitness Glenelg.

Ratings and reviews help with that, but nothing is better than a personal referral, it'd be rad if you would share the show with even just one woman who you think might dig it. Never forget, "Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage." Keep moving forward and until next time I hope you enjoy the ride. Forever Forward! xo ~C
