Human society is more connected than ever. Between mobile phones and internet applications, we can connect with each other instantaneously, around the globe. And more traditionally, the United States alone is home to nearly 4 million miles of roads, structures which, for many of us, have only served to enhance our sense of connectedness to the cities we live in, to our families and friends, and to the larger world around us. Yet, these same roads that connect people have the opposite effect to the natural world, extracting an extreme toll on the plants and animals around us, and in many unexpected ways. And roads and highways are just the tip of the iceberg. Join us as we unravel the many complex dimensions of wildlife connectivity while revealing the surprising toll that human activity has inflicted on the movement of species. Hello and welcome to this enlightening edition of The Flaghunters Golf Podcast ! My name is Jesse Perryman and it is my pleasure to bring you these two great instructors to talk about Golf Instruction, MORAD(Mac O'Grady Research and Development), setting the record straight about the man himself, Mr. Mac O'grady. Mathew Belsham is from England and got his teeth cut in the instructional space via Homer Kelly's, "The Golfing Machine". Mathew also spent twenty years along the side of Mr. O'grady while teaching many clinics with Mac. Notably, Mathew has taught some of the better European players the likes of Alex Noren, Robert Rock and Charlie Hull of the LPGA Tour just to name a few. Justin Tang is a teaching pro at the Tanah Merah Country Club in Singapore and is well-versed in "The Golfing Machine" as well as MORAD. Justin is considered one the best instructors in the Orient and works with some of the best young talent in Europe and Asia. In this Episode, Mathew, Justin and I discuss learning, teaching and Mac. With Mac, we talk about his massive influence in todays instruction that largely goes unnoticed. We also try to change the narrative around Mac because he's been painted negatively by the media when he was on Tour. Mac has been very generous with his hard earned information and we feel it's time to tell the truth about Mac. A big thank you to Mathew Belsham for reaching out to us to set the record straight so we can celebrate Mr. O'grady in the right way. Also, a big thank you to Justin for arranging this very important discussion. Enjoy this Episode and send out a Thank You to Mac for his massive contribution to our Game !
Robert Rock has played on the European Tour for 20+ years, but arguably most impressive is the fact that he now continues to compete AND coach other players including Matt Wallace at the same time. He discusses how he prepares to teach while teeing it up himself as well as what went into ousting Tiger Woods in the final pairing of the 2012 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. Hint – he was thinking 'Don't be the guy that shoots 85!' The veteran also shares what it was like playing with Rory McIlroy while he was still an amateur.

Jens och Johanris / ros / kontakt: jens.vagland@gmail.com See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

The group, in part led by Robert Rock, Yale School of Medicine class of 2017, engaged in a curricular reform project within their institution. Their commitment progressed from what began as a student lead health justice elective course to a comprehensive health justice curriculum for their medical school that's further supported by an interprofessional student group for health justice.
