Upon officers' arrival, the house bore no signs of a struggle, but rather the appearance of the missing women being abducted. All personal property was left behind including purses, money, clothing, cars, keys, cigarettes, and the family dog. Stacy McCall and Suzanne Streeter had graduated from high school the day before their disappearance and were last seen at approximately 2:15 a.m. on June 7, 1992, when they left a graduation party in a nearby community en route to the Levitt/Streeter home at 1717 E. Delmar, Springfield. It appeared as though they had arrived at the residence because their clothing, jewelry, purses, and vehicles were still at this location. Levitt's car, purse, keys, etc., were left at the residence and it appeared as though her bed had been slept in when friends and police arrived to check the residence. Sherrill Levitt: 11-01-44, 5', 110 Ibs., brown eyes, short bleached-blonde hair, naturally curly hair, longer on top and short in the back. Sherrill Levitt has a thin build and has freckles on her neck and upper chest area. Stacy McCall: White female, DOB 04/23/74, 5'3", 120 lbs., blue eyes, dark blonde hair to the middle of her back with sun-lightened ends. She has freckles on her face and a dimple in the middle of her chin. Suzanne (Suzie) Streeter: White female, DOB 03/09/73, 5'2", 102 Ibs., brown eyes, straight bleached-blonde, shoulder-length hair, large teeth with no dental work. She has a 3-1/2"' scar on top of her right forearm and a small tumor in the left corner of her mouth which gives the appearance that she has something in her mouth. With the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and numerous other law enforcement agencies, an extensive investigation into the lives of the missing women has been conducted with no positive leads concerning the reason for their disappearance or their location. On June 7, 1992, 18-year-old Stacy McCall, 19-year-old Suzanne Streeter, and Suzanne's mother, 47-year-old Sherrill Levitt, disappeared from their home in Springfield, Missouri. The night before, after attending a graduation party, Stacy and Suzanne changed plans several times, ultimately deciding to spend the night at Suzanne's house. When friends checked on them the next morning, they found the house unlocked, with no signs of struggle inside. All three women's cars were parked strangely in the driveway. Oddly, Sherrill's purse contained a significant sum of money, and her cigarettes were left behind, despite being a heavy smoker. The house received lewd phone calls, possibly a prank. Robert Craig Cox, a suspect with a criminal history and connections to the area, claimed knowledge of their fate but was never convicted. Speculation and bizarre theories persist, including a controversial tip suggesting the women may be buried beneath a hospital parking garage. Today I am discussing the disappearances of Stacy McCall, Suzie Streeter, and Sherrill Levitt, also known as “The Springfield Three.” On June 6, 1992, Suzie and Stacy graduated from high school. That evening, they attended a few parties, then went back to Suzie's house to spend the night. The next day, the girls planned to meet up with their friend, Janelle, so that they could go to a water park in Branson. But when Janelle called Suzie's house in the morning, no one answered. Hours later, Janelle went to Suzie's to see if everything was okay. When she pulled up, she saw three cars parked outside: Suzie's, Stacy's, and Sherrill's. Janelle looked around the property and didn't see any sign of forced entry - the only thing that really seemed out of place was a broken porch light. Inside, the house looked just as tidy as ever. All three of their purses and sets of keys were found, but no one was in the home. Soon, more concerned friends and relatives, including Stacy's mom, showed up at the house. Eventually, they realized something was very wrong. They called the police to report all three women missing. For the last 30 years, the Springfield Police have poured countless hours into investigating the disappearances, but all three remain unsolved. A reward fund of $43,000 has been established for the location and prosecution of the persons responsible for the abduction of the three women. For this episode, I want to revisit two missing persons cases that have just recently had their anniversaries. The case of Suzanne Streeter, Stacy McCall, and Sherrill Levitt has haunted the once quiet, sleepy town of Springfield, MO for 30 years. On June 6, 1992, Suzanne and Stacy became Kickapoo High School graduates. They'd spend that evening celebrating with friends at several different graduation parties. The two childhood friends would retire to Suzie's and her mother, Sherrill's, home on E Delmar St. The next day, June 7th, the three women would be reported missing. Anne Roderique-Jones is creator and host of "The Springfield Three," a popular podcast examining the case of the disappearance of those three women and how it affected the community as a whole. Anne grew up in Springfield, Missouri, and was just 12 years old when these disappearances rocked her small town.
