This episode discusses stalking, domestic violence, and intimate partner homicide.**As January marks Stalking Awareness Month, Kat introduces us to Dominique “Nique” Leili - a devoted moom navigating a troubled marriage—& a victim of escalating control & surveillance that ultimately turned deadly.  In 2011, Dominique disappeared in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Months later, her remains were discovered in a wooded area, and suspicion quickly focused on her husband, Matthew Leili. What followed was a deeply unsettling case marked by recorded jailhouse phone calls, conflicting accounts from their daughters, years of legal appeals, and a defense that framed Dominique's murder as a mystery—despite substantial evidence presented at trial. In this episode, Kat takes us through the case & reminds us all that stalking is not a “lesser” offense. It is a documented predictor of intimate partner homicide.  This is the hill Kat will die on, y'all!
