We first met Steve Lee on a raucous trip to Croatia a few year's back and we have been avid followers of his work as Project Club for some time. A stupidly talented producer, his output on labels such as Is It Balearic?, Need Want and Tusk Wax are nothing but essential. His Balearica night in London reads like a who's who from the underground left field disco scene attracting regular visits from Idjut Boys, Phil Mison, Johnny Nash, Coyote, Paul "Mudd" Murphy, Soft Rocks and more. He recently launched his new vinyl only label Above Machine, under which guise he presents this mix, now on it's fourth release with a corking EP from Almunia which is topping the more discerning charts everywhere you turn.
