This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-E, presenting the best music from female producers and DJs. Helping me Draw The Line,, with her guest mix in the second hour, it's Rebecca Gough who's from Manchester in the UK and is now based in London. She's inspired by Mathew Jonson in the way he uses tracks by Gary Newman, Kraftwerk and Legowelt in his DJ sets and his use of Prophet 5 Synthesizers in his own productions, creating the sound Rebecca loves to use in her own music. She's also inspired by Dixon and his 10/12 hour sets which incorporate dance, deep melodic, afro and techno in ways that inform Rebecca's own DJ sets. She's done DJ mixes for many radio shows & podcasts and played at London clubs such as Orange Yard, Egg and many others. Bside Incoming: Hannah D We are hoping you had a very Merry Christmas and that you're not missing a big festive party too much, because this week's guest has really got us itching to be back on the dance floor. She's a top class selector with a real passion for her local scene, born into a musical family with strong early influences, and always pushing herself down new and exciting avenues on her journey of musical discovery. We proudly present Hannah D. With a musical passion pumping through her veins Hannah is a longtime supporter of her thriving local music scene in Brisbane. From enthusiastic punter, to music journalist with 6AM AT THE GARAGE and the now-defunct Pulse Radio. She co-founded The Space Between Us with Emma Stevenson to promote local talent and friends from the scene before evolving the project into a well respected record label and artist management company. "The signing of all local acts did not happen consciously whatsoever - it came about purely from not feeling the need to branch further afield to hear great music” - Hannah D After several years of promoting the talent of her friends and putting the local artists of Brisbane onto the map, they returned the favour by inviting her to play the supporting slot with DJ Slyngshot… it must have gone well because she never looked back and is now considered up their with the city's best, having shared line-ups with the likes of Floating Points, Legowelt, Francis Inferno Orchestra, Octo Octa, Eris Drew and Hunee. This one is a very welcome return to an episode of strictly electronica, getting things moving with some italo and hip house, before settling in with progressive hypnotic house and extraterrestrial electro breaks. Enjoy! São Paulo is arguably one of the most forward-thinking cities in Brasil when it comes to underground music and night life culture. Warehouse parties like Carlos Capslock's have been going for almost a decade, while smaller spots like listening bar Caracol are catering to intimate and discerning crowds. DJ and producer Davis is firmly embedded in the music scene there, running his reputable ODD party series which brings together both local names and international artists including the likes of Courtesy, Daniel Avery, Funkineven and Legowelt. In May he added a label arm, ODDiscos, which has just marked its second release with an EP from local producer and ODD resident Vermelho, backed up with blinding remixes from Tolouse Low Trax, Sphynx and Khidja. We invited him to take control of this week's Wednesday Alternative mix which he gladly accepted. Recorded in the city's aforementioned cosy spot Caracol, the mix is a segment of a set he played in the warm up for Lena Willikens...

Roll up, roll up, roll up! Strap yourself in as Glasgow via Perth is about to get down... Craigie Knowes is a record label which has amassed a reputation for furious club cuts purpose built for the dancefloor, all with a smile and the shake of a hand. Since 2015 the label has released a prolific array of music from the likes of Dj Overdose, Deep Space Orchestra, Natureboy Gold, Textasy and more. Beyond this they have also released two stellar compilations in support of the charity War Child of which the likes of Legowelt, Shanti Celeste, Move D and Yoshinori Hayashi all supported and featured. This is an imprint with a distinct sense of self and a humility which can sometimes be hard to find within dance music and the associated culture. We here at Ransom Note are firm supporters. The pair have stepped up to deliver a heavy hitting mix designed to make you move.
