As October rolls on, the votes came in for "Disney's Spooky Buddies," 2011's Halloween themed entry into the surprisingly large "Buddies" franchise. This direct-to-video entry features talking dogs, poor acting, a weak script, and terrible editing. Make sure to vote for our next movie on our Instagram page: 3minmoviereviews

In this climactic Please Make This Minisode, our top two Air Buddies movies face off against each other to see which is the best in the series. Will it be Air Buddies (2006), the movie that started the franchise with vaguely European villains and sexy wolves? Or will it be Spooky Buddies (2011), the Halloween horror with terrifying old men and petrifying farts? Who will win the crown?? EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
Alex and Briton talk about a horror movie and revisit [REDACTED] while Tyler learns the true meaning of family.Find us on iTunes and Spotify, online at herecomethesequels.blogspot.com, through email at herecomethesequels@gmail.com, and on Twitter at HCTSequels. It's the penultimate showdown before we crown the winner of the Air Buddies bracket and the competition has never been more fierce. First in this round we have Santa Buddies (2009), in which Puppie Paws learns that his father will someday die, the father of dying child unsuccessfully tries to haggle, and we learn for the first time of Christianity. Will it stand up to Spooky Buddies (2011) in which a warlock rides his staff like a surfboard, we learn more about God, and (I can't stress this enough) a dog farts on a demon until it dies. Who will win in this round of The Bracket Buddies? Who knows because ANY/EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
The Bracket Buddies are back with the end of the first round. This week, your hosts Liz and Spencer watched Spooky Buddies (2011) and Treasure Buddies (2012). In Spooky Buddies, our five heroes fight an evil warlock that rides his staff like a surfboard, scream at a normal old man, and fart on a demon dog until it dies. And in Treasure Buddies we find out why people like dogs better than cats, meet an adorable camel, and bring Egyptian artifacts BACK to Fernfield. Who will win in this round of The Bracket Buddies? Who knows because ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!
On this episode, we talk about one of the most upsetting movies of all time: CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST! We take pride in being the only people to have ever asked the most important question: Is CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST better or worse than SPOOKY BUDDIES?
Your hosts Sara (@SaraSorrentino), Ale (@Sick__66), and Shak (@ShakExcellence) extend the spooky season celebrations with Spooky Buddies, the spin-off/sequel to the Air Bud and Air Buddies franchises. Now, make no mistake, this movie is bad, there’s no hiding at, it’s very bad. Hear the Seequels gang make the most of this movie and stay tuned for the big twist as the one who suggested they watch the movie is revealed!
Your hosts Sara (@SaraSorrentino), Ale (@Sick__66), and Shak (@ShakExcellence) dive straight into hell(world) in this spooky episode. They discuss the eighth installment of the Hellraiser franchise, Hellraiser: Hellworld. It turns out this meta-sequel was too much for one host, and we’ll let you listen and find out who, but if you’re a fan of the podcast you can figure it out. Don’t worry, if you’re too creeped out by this just wait until they watch Spooky Buddies.
Your favorite spooky buddies Alex and Briton talk about some more spooky movies, though unfortunately the actual Spooky Buddies remains on the to-do list. Also Tyler is gone. Probably hunting vampires or something cool like that.

We discuss whether 2011’s puppy-centric romp, Spooky Buddies, deserves a spot with Hocus Pocus and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown in the Halloween movie canon, or whether it deserves to be pushed into a magic mirror, never to be seen again. Also, Geena Davis’ efforts on behalf of representation in children’s TV, the lifespan of owls, and the unrealistic expectations set by Mom Tiger.
Dishing Disney - Bride of Boogedy It's October and time to get SPOOKY! Last year we watched Mr Boogedy, and this year it's time for the full length sequel, Bride of Boogedy. Spooktober is here and with it, we have the spookiest curse we could think of - our first AirBuddies movie! Jeff Warlock, a hellhound, "Frankendude", and a fart to kill a ghost-demon-dog - this one has it all. Will we survive Halloween when we're stuck watching Disney shlock?

Spooky Buddies (2011) is our latest foray into the world of talking dog movies. This one has the buddies (and their kid owners) being menaced by a warlock and the Halloween Hound who want to let all the evil out of the thing and then the things will thing. It’s a G-rated nightmare. In the […]
In this episode we discuss Spooky Buddies and movies that are so bad they're good with the help of our friend, Steph!
On this episode, we talk about SPOOKY BUDDIES, a horrifyingly dark Disney spinoff of that movie where a dog plays basketball, as well as WILD ZERO. Also discussed are...no, you know what, I was gonna bring up other stuff we talked about, like how much we love the band Guitar Wolf, but we mostly talk about the existential horror of SPOOKY BUDDIES, the most brutal movie we've seen yet on this podcast after nearly 300 entries.
