It's one of the biggest lessons I've learned on my journey, and one that I'm continuing to practice. It doesn't come easily to most of us as we've been brought up in a world / society that wants instant successes + quick fixes, but it's not the truth of our realities, as that's not how things work, but it's what we expect.
