    Ivy Insights

The Breathe Focus Repeat podcast, hosted by Brooke, is an incredibly inspiring and thought-provoking show that delves into the world of entrepreneurship with a refreshing and no-nonsense approach. Brooke's boldness and straightforwardness are beyond inspiring, making every conversation not only helpful but also enlightening. Each week, I eagerly anticipate new episodes as Brooke has a unique ability to say exactly what I need to hear at the right moment. Through tuning in, I have gained valuable lessons for both my business and personal life.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is Brooke's authenticity and relatability. She shares her process in real-time instead of reflecting on it in hindsight after everything has been figured out. This approach is brilliant and deeply resonates with aspiring solopreneurs like myself who are navigating through the unpredictable roller coaster of starting a business. The fact that she shares her journey as she goes along makes her insights even more valuable and relatable.

Another aspect that sets this podcast apart is its wide appeal beyond just aspiring business owners. Although I am far from being an entrepreneur, I find so much of what Brooke says deeply resonant because it speaks to universal struggles with change and uncertainty that we all face at some point in our lives. Her candidness and humor make her storytelling engaging and entertaining while also inspiring without relying on cliches.

While there aren't many negative aspects to this podcast, one minor criticism could be the occasional lack of diversity in guest speakers or perspectives. It would add another layer of richness to hear from a wider range of entrepreneurs from different backgrounds and industries. However, this does not diminish the immense value that Brooke brings to the table with her own experiences and insights.

In conclusion, The Breathe Focus Repeat podcast is an essential listen for any business owner or anyone seeking inspiration to take charge of their life and work. Brooke's rawness, relatability, and practicality make her an incredible host, and her insights and storytelling abilities are truly motivating. Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur or simply navigating through life's uncertainties, this podcast is a must-listen that will leave you feeling inspired and empowered.

Steff shares more about the seven types of rest, and why they are all important. She also highlights the need for blank space and reflection as transformative factors in success and life. Steff acknowledges that these concepts may be uncomfortable for some of us. We hold cultural beliefs ingrained by oppressive systems and there are societal barriers to rest, such as capitalism's discouragement of slowing down and the limited understanding of rest beyond sleep. Reflection is also often neglected when we prioritize constant achievement. Rest is often seen as something earned or exclusive to vacations, and society's fast-paced nature hinders intentional breathing. With all of this in mind, Steff aims to challenge societal norms and encourage listeners to incorporate rest, blank space, and reflection into their lives, supporting their mental, emotional, physical, and energetic health.Connect with SteffListen to Steff's podcast: Humaning: https://www.steffgallante.com/podcastFollow Steff on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/steffgallante/Take the Self-Guided WorkshopThe Pathway to Sustainable, Values-Aligned, Impactful Business http://bit.ly/nobusinessrulesWhat would be different if instead of just listening you had the support to show up differently?Book a free call with Brooke and let's see how we can work together https://passionandprocess.hbportal.co/schedule/5e90bfdd0a3fd40ea459ae2aor Join me in Transcend Your Dichotomy Training Camp http://bit.ly/transcendyourdichotomy

While you can't really shortcut growth, taking action is necessary to gain traction in your business - whether that's making money, learning new things, or just completing necessary tasks. However, when faced with discomfort, we often make up reasons why we shouldn't bother taking action, which ultimately hinders our growth. To break out of this cycle, Brooke suggests challenging your thinking and trying the opposite of what you would usually do. By doing that, you may find that the perceived difficulty of a task is simply a story you tell yourself to guard against feelings of inadequacy.
