How do we deal with the unexpected in our lives? Something is happening; our cards are in the air, and we must decide what to do. How do we pick them up? We are responsible for what is in front of us. Treat it not as a nasty joke but as a game. Pick up the last one; where does it go? How do I pick up the unexpected challenges in my life and deal with them? We can pick them up individually; otherwise, we get overwhelmed. When we can't find which way to go, be flexible and ready for the next thing to drop. What do I do now? Flexibility is the key. Discover how to be flexible with everything, including what is happening with our bodies. Remember, it's your choice what you do and how you pick up the cards on the floor. Look at what we chose and where we want to go. We have the power in some way. If we stay flexible, we will find a way to do things differently; we can choose to change it's our choice, our mind. As long as we accept responsibility for our choices and do not blame ourselves, we can find unique ways to live our lives. Drop judgment of ourselves; when we sit in judgment of ourselves or others, we close down, and then we can't change. We are here on Earth to make choices. 52 pick up is a great concept. We are here to experience and pick up the cards we have thrown up in the air. A whole process is happening. Jill says that even though she has had so many health challenges, including cancer. She picks up the cards and always finds humor in situations. Humor gives us joy, and laughter heals powerfully. Jill always finds going to humor lightens everything. Do what we do with appreciation. We can get lost in what we have to do rather than appreciate it. Whatever we can do to make our earth walk lighter and happier for ourselves and others is the most beautiful feeling.

You can do all the therapy in the world and become as self-aware as you want, but if you don't learn to accept who you are to your core -- even the "negative" things about yourself that you don't like -- then you will never be at peace with yourself. Today's epi covers 8 major truth bombs that will help you work towards self-acceptance: Your judgement of others reveals what you haven't accepted about yourself The things you see as "good" or "bad" about yourself are actually neither. That's just how you've been conditioned to see it! You can reframe core negative beliefs about yourself into positive ones There is a HUGE difference between intellectualizing yourself and letting yourself be who you are!! The voice inside your head is not you -- it's your ego and you can talk back to it baby Taking down your facade + embracing vulnerability = freedom There is not a spotlight on you and nobody is judging you more than you Embrace the cringe and stop taking yourself so seriously I am so proud of this one Wrestling Fam. Give it a listen
In past episodes, Jenny has talked about practicing self compassion and ways that we can do that. But there are other areas in our journey that go along with that like bread and butter - and she's here to give us the lo-down. Topics like negative self talk, invalidating ourselves, and being unaware of how our body responds to our environment are all obstacles in our path to mental and physical wellness. In today's episode, Jenny brings our awareness to how we can over come those obstacles, and how we can heal them into habits that work for us instead of against us. Are you ready to feel better? Ever found yourself caught in an unrelenting cycle of self-judgment as an entrepreneur or high-performer? You're not alone. This episode tackles the often-overlooked aspects of entrepreneurship - the weight of self-judgment. We shed light on common mistakes that entrepreneurs make and discuss the harmful impacts of perfectionism. We emphasize the need to understand and accept that we are always learning, and that no one is perfect. We also delve into the importance of utilizing our life experiences as a continuous learning process, rather than a measure of success or failure. Tune in to listen to this week's episode. Today we have an incredible guest, Tobi Pearce - tech founder & ex-CEO of SWEAT, investor, and now an advisor to other founders. Tobi's inspiring journey from homelessness to finding success through fitness and ultimately a $400 million dollar record-breaking sale of the massive SWEAT app - all before his 29th birthday - is full of inspiration and wisdom beyond his years. He also happens to be the partner of one of my dear friends, Rachel Dillon, so check out her episode below. On this episode, we talk about hitting rock bottom and finding purpose through pain, if business and passion really need to align, why timing is everything, why the best leaders have the experience in the game to make better decisions, learning from failures, how Tobi saw an opportunity in the female fitness market, values and qualities in relationships that change after finding success (yes, he was a multi-millionaire sleeping on an air mattress), becoming a parent, dealing with self-judgment and criticism, why achieving your goals actually makes things harder, sitting in stillness and learning to be alone with your thoughts, why being unrelatable makes your circle tighter, and more. There were so many parallels in my own journey through business, fitness, and learning about changing relationships along the way. Regardless of where you are in your journey or career, whether you are an entrepreneur, work for a business, or are simply trying to find your future purpose, this episode is for you. This episode of Rule Breakers' takeover features Naomi Finkelstein, a weight-neutral Yoga Therapist, Health and Wellbeing Coach, and licensed Be Body Positive Facilitator. She speaks about the connection between our approach to self-care practices and entrepreneurship.Naomi discusses how entrepreneurs and business owners have a tendency to look at what successful business owners are doing and think that we should follow suit if we want to achieve the same level of success.Instead, Naomi believes that we should approach self-care and entrepreneurship from a place of deep love, rather than fear. This would mean being connected to our own values, desires, and interests, rather than being attached to our weight or looking at what others are doing. If you'd like to be part of the Rule Breakers' Crew and get on the path to a sustainable values-aligned business, head over to brooke-monaghan.com to learn more!Connect with NaomiVisit Naomi's website: www.naomifinkelstein.comFollow Naomi on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/well_rounded.wellness/Take the Self-Guided WorkshopThe Pathway to Sustainable, Values-Aligned, Impactful Business http://bit.ly/nobusinessrulesWhat would be different if instead of just listening you had the support to show up differently?Book a free call with Brooke and let's see how we can work together https://passionandprocess.hbportal.co/schedule/5e90bfdd0a3fd40ea459ae2aor Join me in Transcend Your Dichotomy Training Camp http://bit.ly/transcendyourdichotomy

Self Judgement is how conditioned mind keeps control over your life - Cheri Huber After having a bit of a meltdown this weekend over impending perimenopause(details in the podcast).. I got to thinking about self judgement. I realised a few things Self judgement is in partnership with "should" It means that we are also judging others -how else do we create the comparison? Self judgement can only be created, maintained and amplified through the context of the definitions we choose to hold (I most definitely explain this inside the podcast!) Let me tell you, I hold gold medals in several Self Judgement categories so I am well rehearsed in The Model of self judgement. I understand how the thoughts pierce your brain with their claws, clinging and scratching inside your head. I know how it feels to drag those feelings around in your body, walking in to rooms feeling like you are wearing a neon sign that says "I don't fit in here". I know what it's like to wake up with the first thought being that of self hate and self judgement right then would seem positively luxurious. I also know how it feels to make peace with self judgement and to change the model to self acceptance and self love. In this episode, my intention is to provide insight, hope and options to help you do the same. From my heart to yours.. Did you know that the "Judge Not" command was to stop you from "Self-Judgement"? Because self-judgement blocks the "life" that is within you and releases "death". Jesus said: "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you". This is judgment according to what “we know" and not according to what "God knows". This is called judgment according to the flesh and not according to the Spirit. How we see, matters! First we must see ourselves according to how God sees, then we can also see others the right way. This is “grace”. ONLINE COURSES & MEMBERSHIPS

I talk a lot about Project You v Project Baby. One aspect of Project You is letting go of self judgement. Stopping being hard on yourself. In this episode we explore how you can do that and have more self compassion on this fertility journey. Get in touch: www.thefertilemind.net russell@thefertilemind.net About the Show: I help women and couples remove psychological blocks to getting pregnant. Based on my and my wife's 10 year fertility journey and the work of my clients I believe too many couples have IVF unnecessarily and that the success rate of IVF is unnecessarily low. We can see how much our mind and emotions played a part in our fertility journey and when we found a place of peace without giving up that's when the magic happened - we conceived naturally against all odds. I help me clients do the same - remove psychological blocks to getting pregnant naturally or getting the successful IVF outcome they so want. When I ask women what having a baby will give them they usually say a sense of completeness, love and purpose. It's our fear of not having these things, a fear of not being enough, worthy that tends to be behind our fear of not having a baby. These limiting beliefs have usually been around since an early age and infertility shines a spotlight on them. Many of my clients have strived for success in their life whether career or other things. That approach doesn't work for fertility. In fact it puts tension in the body which decreases their chances of success. The podcast is short dose of insight, giving women and couples new perspectives that allows them to see their fertility from the ‘inside-out'. To see help them let go of their insecure thoughts and feelings and connect to their innate wellbeing that knows they are enough and OK whatever happens. This moves having a baby from being a 'need' to to a desire. It takes the pressure of the process and their mind and body relax into it's natural flow state. Stress can impact the delicate balance of hormones required for a successful pregnancy.

Have you ever wondered when and how your self-judgment started? You weren't born with an inner critic, but there 100% was a moment of birth of this negative inner voice in all of us. August is National Wellness month and I wanted to do something special. I believe one of the biggest blocks to living hella well is our inner critic's death grip on our thoughts and actions. Every week this month, we'll be diving deeper into what is the inner critic and where it comes from, how it's unknowingly affecting your life, how to work with your inner critic, and helpful tips on ways to silence/calm your inner critic. This week's episode focuses solely on the birth of the inner mean girl that keeps you thinking you're not enough. We'll discuss the survival strategy tests we create to prove we fit in or are worthy, where the inner critic comes from, and some journal prompt questions.
