The Mental Health Empowerment Network is here to send a positive message of recovery and hope.
Hi guys, This episode is for those of you who want to just drift into peace and harmony. Allow yourself to settle into the healing love of the universe and become a conduit for unconditional love. In this scared space, you are safe and you are held. Go well. You can find more about what I do through my website: www.henryjohnstone.uk
This meditation is for those of you struggling with difficult emotions, when we hold on to emotions they cause us pain. You can develop attachments to them as you might want them to be something other than what they are. this meditation encourages acceptance, peace and harmony with all your emotions allowing you to let go of all of your attachments.
Hi guys, I have been asked to release an episode where I try ASMR whispering. On this episode, I'll talk you through a really important breathing technique, and how to hold space and diffuse arguments effortlessly. I take you through why each argument you have is your inner child calling out to you to be healed. If you have a suggestion for me to read and whisper in ASMR please head over to my website: www.henryjohnstone.uk and submit a request.
Hello Deep Peacers. You may remember I published a show with some of my own poems some weeks back. I thought I would publish another show with some listener poems.
This beautiful meditation will take you to a place of deep peace and relaxation. If you are experiencing anxiety today this meditation will allow to detach from it and observe it and dissolve it. As you allow yourself to drift deeply into deep peace and relaxation. If you want to learn more about Henry and his rapid change therapy, head over to: www.henryjohnstone.uk If you have a certain meditation you would like to hear please email Henry at henryjohnstone.uk@yahoo.com. Until the next time, go well.
Hi guys, Welcome back for another special meditation. This meditation is really going to help you feel the gorgeous healing love of inner peace and connectedness. Often times we feel we need to be something, or we need to do something, or worse? that what we are doing and who we are is not enough. When you do this you drift further away from your innate perfection and beauty that radiates inside and out. You are and you always have been enough. You can find out more about me and the work that I do for my clients here: www.henryjohnstone.uk
For this episode, I asked some parents to ask their children if they wanted a story readout on the air. I got through two fabulous entries! I received two stories submitted by Florence and Harry from Solihull. If you would like your child story to be read out on the podcast please send a document to: henryjohnstone.lifecoach@yahoo.com
Welcome back for another very special meditation. Today I want to invite you to connect deeply to gratitude and love so that you expand your inner world. You will experience the release from anxiety, frustration and even sadness and connect deeply to your abundant well of gratitude and love. You will give more because you are more, you are expansion.
This meditation is here to relax you deeply and peacefully into a safe space. Where you will ease the pressure of anxiety and allow yourself to feel freedom, joy and peace.
Another dose of Alice in Wonderland for you all. Things get a little more difficult as I have to create accents, which I'm afraid to say all sound the same... I think. I'm having a lot of fun reading this and its the first time I've ever read Alice in Wonderland and I'm rather enjoying it. If you have got a suggestion of what I can read next please let me know! henryjohnstone.uk@yahoo.com
Hello again. You know what this podcast is proving to be very therapeutic. I'm getting a lot of creative flow from recording. I hope the last few eps have been good for you to listen to. With my guys being busy I thought I'd record some poem reading, and I discovered a vault of when I used to write out my dreams and very surprisingly the seemed quite well written so I read them out too. how terribly self-serving of me. if anything I promise they will relax you. Until next time. H x
Recently a very good friend of mine asked me to read him some Alice in wonderland. So I did over the phone on a recording. He loved it so much IU thought during lockdown I would continue to read to and for him. Apparently my voice is quite soothing and during lockdown, if you might find it relaxing to listen to me a read this story then join us. Make yourself comfortable and relax. If you would like to suggest a story or a poem for me to read, please send your suggestions to: henryjohnstone.lifecoach@yahoo.com Love you all.

For the next ten days, this show will be releasing a show a day in support of mental health awareness day that starts today! In October 2019 equal engineers.com published a survey: Masculinity in engineering 2019. In a workforce that is 89% men, this survey is one of the first of its kind. Have you been given a mental health label? Are you happy with it? Have you heard the talk about why they're maybe not such a good thing? This short little episode I'm going to share with you why: You are not your label. Your label is limiting just how magnificent you are. You can live outside of the box your label wants to put you in. Message me at henryjohnstone.lifecoach@yahoo.com and let me know how you experience your mental health, the impact it has, how you feel. Human to human lets connect.
Welcome back warriors! Thank you all for joining me for the podcast drive to create awareness around suicide prevention. It's been a week filled with honesty, openness, inspiration, love and brotherhood. My guests and i have covered a huge range of topics all in the service of men who struggle. We do this because we care, we do this because we believe in the bonds of brotherhood. We believe in you! Masculinity is at an impasse, where we go from here is up to us, boots on ground men. We have a responsibility to reach and reach out. Jordan B Peterson said that men respond to responsibility because within that here is a sacrifice. What are we sacrificing? We sacrifice our own inner dialogue that we can't make a change that we can't make a difference. We can brothers we can all make a difference. Thank you to you all for listening, supporting and sharing. Let us move forward! This episode brings back Kyle Shutic where we talk about what perhaps is one the foundations for suicide prevention. Letting people know when we're not okay, and that its okay to not be okay. We share love and brotherhood with you today. Find Henry here: If you've been listening a while or it's your first time. Welcome back Warriors! We are nearing the end of this drive to raise awareness around suicide prevention. We have had some incredible chats about what we can do to turn the tide of male suicide, how to support men with depression, anxiety, ptsd and trauma. We have been elevating the conversation so that we reach the men who need to hear the message. We have promoted men's groups, men's workshops, men's retreats and men's workshops. We've covered and delved into what can be done with a boots on ground approach to Men's mental health. We've discovered simple solutions to a complex task. It is not the fault of the NHS by the way, but rather it is our responsibility to connect and create a community for our fellow man. Our friends, boy friends, husbands, fathers, strangers, friends of friends and old friends and more. A brotherhood of men helping men. That is the key and it is something we are not powerless over. Jordan Peterson talks about men's desire to take responsibility, this is your responsibility right now today to unite, reach in, reach out and connect.Today I welcome Andy Grant, successful entrepreneur, podcast host, campaigner and all round good man! We're talking today about feelings and how to feel, emotional intelligence, emotional security, vulnerability as a man, how feelings are going to help you get the hell out of shit pit you feel you're in. We talk about how you can teach yourself to be unafraid of where your feelings might take you, and to harness the power of the reliable source of empowerment on the planet: Your feelings. If you've been listening a while or it's your first time. Please subscribe, rate and leave a review. Welcome back Warriors for day 5 of suicide prevention awareness. This episode i welcome Andy Elwood1 Now Andy and I share something similar. We both run workshops and retreats respectively to help men. Andy uses his trusted Landrover to help men bond in community whilst working on these magnificent machines. As you know I run Metal work to do something very similar. It was a pleasure to have Andy on the show as he shared his own experiences through mental health, military service and now service to those who struggle. We talk openly about how there's something primal about getting our hands dirty, doing hard graft and getting stuck in. When men get together like this, bonds are made, community is created and brotherhoods are formed. If you've been listening a while or it's your first time. Please subscribe, rate and leave a review. Welcome back Warriors! For day 3 of suicide prevention awareness. This episode I welcome two titans and veterans of the show. We have the incredible Tiffany Werhner and the mighty Brian Cardoza. This show is all about having an empowering chat about Mental Health, masculinity and at this moment suicide in men. Together we are the strongest force for change. Now some of you may disagree with what we are about to say, but my guests believe as I do that the dialogue around Mental Health needs to shift forward. Men are dying at an alarming rate, something somewhere isn't working. This episode is all about the courage problem in Mental Health, and why calling people courageous for speaking out may be doing more harm than good. We touch upon trauma and abuse, depression and anxiety, suicide and suicide ideation. It may sound incongruous but we also share some laughs. This is sensitive topic but, we need to start enquiring into what's not working so everyone of us can educate ourselves and make a difference As ever I am here if you are struggling and need someone to reach out to. You are my brother and I see you! You need never apologise to me for feeling the way you do nor must you ever suffer in silence. I've compiled a list below the details of numbers, emails, website, groups, charities that will all help you if you are struggling right. Just scroll down to find the. Welcome back Warriors for day 2 of suicide prevention awareness week. For everyday of this week I'm releasing a show in support of those who are struggling today. This show i welcome back Joel W Hawbaker. Where we chat about 9/11 anxiety, as it's the 9/11 anniversary today it felt appropriate that we cover some of wider after effects it had on our psyche. We chat about the church and the christian perspective of suicide. How does christianity approach it? Is it stigmatised? How can you reach out or allow someone to reach in? If your community isn't supporting you how can you find one that does? How hope is going to keep you going when keeping going in the most painful thing to do. What is a Mythopoetic approach? How can men benefit from a brotherhood? How can aggression be used to empower transition? Recovery from addiction? Firstly is it possible? There are many schools of thought and practice when it comes to recovery. You may have heard of a higher power, or god mentioned if you've ever come across the anonymous rooms. On this episode we go one step further and delve deep into what an actual conscious connection with God is like and how it helped our guest in the most unexpected of ways through her recovery. Think "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari". We also delve deep into addiction as a spiritual illness, psychic corruption and why putting things down to 'being under the influence' alone may be leading us to miss out on a profound spiritual experience.
