The Joe Rogan Podcast is Back on the Cutting Edge of Public Debate. Joe Rogan has long been accused of selling out and sitting on the fence by many voices in the independent media, however he has finally drawn a much needed line in the sand. But how far will he go? We'll soon found out, however it's been a good start. The interviews with Jack Dorsey and Alex Jones have made the Joe Rogan Podcast at the cutting edge of public debate again because these two discussions were probably the most important ones you'll hear this year, especially due to the reach the podcast has. After watching them, the question that each person needs to ask themselves is which side are you on? Truth or lies? Free speech or censorship? Decentralisation or centralisation? And freedom or control? However, I put it to Joe - are you going to continue to be on the forefront of discourse on truth and freedom, or are you going to shy away again? Self-Hypnosis & the Soul - Illuminate Conference Presentation by Phillip J. Watt

Play Episode Listen Later Feb 6, 2019 50:57

Meditation is self-hypnosis. Or better put, self-hypnosis is a type of meditation. Instead of switching off the egoic light like in some meditation techniques, it uses the ego to navigate through the subconscious infrastructure to rewire the neurological pathways and redesign the conceptual apparatus. That’s why hypnotherapy is so successful in rapidly facilitating change. With your full attention and focus, you will relax into a light, medium or deep trance. In fact, it’s an altered state that all of us enter every single day, such as daydreaming or relaxing in front of the TV. Hypnotherapy uses that trance state to facilitate healing and growth. It is scientifically and clinically proven to help with so many challenges in life. It is also more successful than traditional therapies, such as psychotherapy and counselling, because it works with both the conscious and subconscious mind. It is highly effective for weight loss, pain relief, curing migraines, quitting smoking, and overcoming anxiety, depression, grief, stress, sexual functions, insomnia, fertility problems, IBS and phobias, as well as many other mental and physical issues. It can also optimise confidence and performance, as well as enhance psycho-spiritual development. The ironic thing is that hypnosis is a trance state we all go into and out of each day. Daydreaming, reading a book intensely, lost in the TV, driving without paying conscious attention to the road; they’re all examples of trances. It’s exactly why advertising works so well, because when we’re relaxed in front of the TV the message slips straight past the critical faculty of the conscious mind and directly into the subconscious. In that light, every single one of us CAN be hypnotised to some degree. We can also learn to go into deeper states too. Therefore, it is NOT a trophy to have ‘too stronger mind for hypnosis’. Why? Because trance states can be extremely potent for reorganising the mind according to our wishes. And remember, the science and medical research is clear; meditation, hypnotherapy, self-hypnosis and other focus based states are phenomenally good at changing our neurology and other physiology. Therefore, it’s powerful for changing our psychology and emotions too.

Say Goodbye to 'Dry July' and Hello to 'Flawless August'

Play Episode Listen Later Jul 29, 2018 38:24

Flawless August is designed to upgrade our lives; it is simply recognising ways we could improve how we treat ourselves, including our human family and natural systems too, and then acting on it. See below for a list of ideas and ideals. This article was written just after the ‘Blood Moon’ eclipse began in Australia on July 28, 2018. For some people it is just an astronomical event when the moon is imprinted with the earth’s shadow from the sun, and for others there is astrological symbolism and energetic meaning to it too. From the latter point of view, lunar eclipses in general symbolise facing thyself. They reflect ushering out the old and bringing in the new, on both personal and collective levels. This can be a painful process at times, because serious change is usually a challenge for most people. However, this blood moon represents reflection, healing and change, particularly regarding the ageing fracture between the masculine and feminine. This isn’t just on an external level, but also internally too. After all, we all have both energies inside us, which unfortunately most of us haven’t integrated. Now regardless if you personally believe in the philosophy of ‘as above, so below’, this lunar eclipse was nearly the longest of what is theoretically possible (it went for one hour and forty three minutes of a maximum one hour and forty seven minutes). Therefore, it gave us almost all it could for us to see it (and feel it). In that essence it represents deep reflection, which should encourage us to look deep into our own lives. As noted in this article: “This is a time for us to purge, cleanse, and detoxify.” And how many of us need to take greater care of ourselves? How many of us need to detoxify our bodies and minds? The answer is essentially all of us. Whether it be physical health, mental health, or even just how we prioritise our time, we all have ways in which we’re not just reaching our ideals now and again, but we’re nowhere near them. Many people have heard of ‘Dry July’, where we put down the beer and wine for a month to cleanse our bodies of alcohol. Although we probably haven’t done it exactly this way, the basic concept would have been applied in many manners, including implementing various alcohol-free, dieting, detoxification, fitness and fasting rituals for different lengths over our lives. However, sometimes a grand reboot is required and if we don’t choose to do this consciously our natural growth cycle will always find a way to set us up with the opportunity, sometimes smooth and at others times rough, even if we choose not to capitalise on it. The Birth of Flawless August My partner Nicole co-hosts the ‘Mad Magic’ podcast with me, which is available on iTunes and all podcast Apps (see below for an episode on Flawless August). She is just as passionate as me when it comes to continuously growing and changing our lives. We’ve been practicing meditation, self-administered psychotherapy and other growth modalities for many years, but in recent months we’ve felt like a new wave of self-care was incredibly important for us. The other night we were discussing this topic and at one point I made a cheeky remark about ‘Dry July’, finishing it up with a joke about implementing ‘Flawless August’. The idea seemingly sprung from nowhere and at the time we weren’t serious about it, but after sleeping on it we’ve decided to give it a serious crack. However, it’s not just about alcohol. It’s about everything. It’s about what we put into our bodies, what we put into our minds, and how we behave towards ourselves and the world at large. Therefore it encourages self-reflection, self-actualisation and self-mastery. See https://www.pushingthetippingpoint.com/pttp-home/say-goodbye-to-dry-july-and-hello-to-flawless-august for the rest of the article, with links included.

Website: www.pushingthetippingpoint.com Email: madmagic@pushingthetippingpoint.com Script: Are you confused about how to fix our social system? Don’t worry, we all are! In my last video I presented how our social system actually works, as well as how we treat ourselves in general. And I don’t want to come across like I’m just having a fucking whinge because there are actually some great solutions already designed by people smarter than you and I. What are these potential solutions? Well to begin, we need to put the primary issues on the table for public discussion, otherwise how will people know how fucking dumb our current design is? Alright, so what are these primary issues? Well, we definitely need to purify our food and water supplies, as well as our “so-called” medications, so that we’re not so sick and fat and zombified all the time. We need to disassemble those media monopolies so that more accurate information gets through the propaganda and out to the sleeping masses. We need to dissolve that two party tyranny through Electoral Reform. We need to stop the government meddling in our lives by minimising their reach and power. After all, they work for us, not the other way round. To do that, we’ll need to transform our corporate legal system so that it honours and highly values individual and community sovereignty, in line with the golden rule of course. That would retire a lot of those slimy lawyers too, so it’s a win/win. We also need to abolish the entire tax system and replace it with a flat transaction tax so all those multinational corporations and the ultra-rich contribute something, instead of making the burden fall on the rest of us. That would also retire a lot of accountants too, but nobody likes them anyway. We need to re-localise our economies including how we access our resources instead of believing those free trade scams are actually good for us, when it’s the multinational corporations who benefit from them. We need to make our central banks publicly owned, not privately owned, just like it used to be in Australia. We need to create genuine community banks where all the profits that arise from that cheeky process of creating money out of thin air are invested into social programs and infrastructure. Oh you didn’t know that when you get a mortgage or use your credit card that that money didn’t actually exist prior to you signing or swiping? Yeah, that’s how it works. So I’m pretty sure for the privilege of punching numbers into a fucking computer they don’t deserve all that interest we give them, especially when we can do that ourselves and invest that interest into serving our communities. Another solution to that fucked up con is to adopt decentralised cryptocurrencies. In fact, we should undertake a process of decentralisation in general. We could also wipe that government and private debt to the banking cartels, otherwise academically known as a modern debt-jubilee. And of course, we should seriously consider how we can move from a scarcity-based system to an abundance-based system, so that we actually qualify as a wise and advanced species. So ultimately, there are ways in which we could create a just and honourable future for our children and all life on this planet, but if we continue to think inside the box we’ve been incarcerated in, then we aren’t going to get fucking anywhere. Don’t worry, we all are! For example, many of us are still brainwashed enough to fall for either left or right politics instead of understanding that both major parties work for the same banking, pharmaceutical, media and other monopolies of the upper class. Another example is that many of us have been limited in our programming so that we only fight for one injustice such as sex or race inequality instead of fighting to overcome the meta-injustice where we’re all being royally fucked by the corporatocracy. What’s the corporatocracy? I’m glad you asked. Well, it’s the crony capitalist system we have today where big money controls the big policy of our governments, giving us the illusion we have a democracy. Of course there are little changes here and there because otherwise we would wake up and wouldn’t allow this scam to continue. Oh, this is new to you? Well, you’re not alone. Cos’ we’re all stuck in this insane asylum together! Let’s consider how we’re treating ourselves en masse, shall we. Our food choices are incredibly intelligent. As are our medicinal ones. We consume information from highly reputable sources. We have our priorities straight. We’re really healthy. Totally happy. And have even managed to achieve some sort of peace in our lives! Nah just joking, we treat ourselves like shit. But don’t you worry, it’s not our fault! We can blame the mainstream, I mean propaganda media. The education, I mean indoctrination system. Our amazing but authoritarian parents. Our subtle debt enslavement. The perpetual war-machine. The monolithic corporations, including our Governments ;) That naughty deep state. All those de-occulted secret societies. Or of course, the Reptilians! Because we wouldn’t want to take responsibility ourselves, would we? Ah fuck, I don’t know. It’s gets confusing. So my advice is just respect the wonder of being a fucked up human at the start of the 21st Century. And if we don’t like something about ourselves, or our social system for that matter, then we should probably stop playing the fucking victim and do something about it. In it we'll explore the crazy beauty of being a human at the start of the 21st Century, including specifically focusing on connecting with the many truths of the internal and external realms, ways to beat serious suffering such as anxiety and depression, how to view life reverently and easy ways to become more authentically you, as well as the wide spectrum of potential solutions to societal issues. We'll delve deep into the divide between mainstream perspectives and the plethora of conspiratorial views found in the independent space too. In the spirit of the former incarnation of this podcast, which was called 'Redesigning Society', I'll also continue to interview some of the most cutting edge thinkers and researchers of our current era. There's a few great interviews lined up already, so definitely subscribe either to the podcast or my YouTube channel (Phillip J. Watt) to keep tuned in. We're not real strict on how this develops either; we just want to have some fun, as well as help our audience to make a little more order out of the chaos, and if it grows into something where we can allocate a lot of time to it, then count us in. For this end we've set up a Patreon page (www.patreon.com/madmagic) where for additional content you can support us with a small monthly fee. For the first month I'll also chuck in a free digital copy of my book too (The Simulation), which might encourage a few of you to help us begin building that platform. Okay, that about wraps it up. I hope you get not just a little, but a lot out of it. And feel free to comment or share or do whatever to help us grow. Cheers Seers
