CD 1780 Secrets: Self - Satan - Savior - Part 3#3 The Savior's Secrets (Mysteries of God and the Gospel)*Read Mark 4:11 & 23-25 (KJV) And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. 24 And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. 25 For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath. *Read Romans 16:25-27 (KJV) Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: 27 To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. The Savior secrets are in His Word and when we hear His Word faith comes! And when Faith comes then you and I can live by obedience to that truth that makes us free! Let's finish out the year in the strength of the Lord and let Him prepare us for His destiny in our lives! CD 1780 Secrets: Self - Satan - Savior - Part 1We started the year out with our theme being secrets. As the norm we preached the first several weeks on that subject and then we moved on. But now as we're closing out 2025 which seems impossible we're going to finish out the year with a deeper revelation of secrets that's going to help us in the coming year and our relationships! Bro. Notice how the verse ends that we including the next generation may be able to do all the words of the law! We need to take responsibility for the generation and their actions because of Faith or lack thereof! CD 1774 Are You Minding Your Own Business?Food 4 Thought: stop and think for a moment and see if you can remember how many times somebody has told you to mind your own business! Probably everyone under the sound of my voice has been told that at least once and their life and if you have a more involved personality you probably cannot count the number of times you've been told to mind your own business. But this morning as children of the most high God we have an example from the Lord Jesus Christ to follow. So this morning I asked you are you minding your own business? Not your personal business alone but your heavenly business from your father in heaven? Remember Joseph he was about his master's business when sin came calling and he went running to a righteous God because he was about his father's business! (See Genesis 39:11-12)With that question be an ask Brother Jason is going to put two verses of scripture on the screen that show us that we are children of God and we are to work the works of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ:Bro. Jason: *John 1:12 KJV But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:*John 14:12 KJV Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Now let's turn to the gospel of Luke chapter 2 for our text this morning: *Text: Luk 2:41-52 KJV 41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. 44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. 45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. 46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. 47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. 48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? 50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. 51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.Notice in verse 49 our key thought for this morning Jesus asked a simple question to his parents: wished you not that I must be about my father's business?Q. What is the Father's business? Though this can be subjective I feel like when we're talking about the Father's business we're talking about these three: #1 Love*Read 1 Peter 4:8 KJV And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.*Read 1 Corinthians 13:8 KJV Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.*Read 1John 4:7-14 KJV 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is lSupport the show

CD 1772 Protected by Peace over Problems (Understand our position is our peace!)We understand that the Bible teaches us about faith hope and love and the greatest of all is love! In fact our God doesn't just love He is love! But this morning you and I we need to understand that faith hope and love brings peace into our lives and it's by peace that we have protection! But we'll talk about that in a minute! Right now know that you have peace with God (Romans 5:1-2) and peace from God because of your relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! In the King James version Bible the word peace is listed 429 times in 400 verses! Can you guess what two books in the Bible has peace listed the most? Ironically it's the book of Leviticus with 31 times and the book of Isaiah 29 times. Think about the theme of atonement, substitution, and offering. Leviticus lays out the blueprint of salvation through a blood sacrifice then Isaiah prophesies Jesus Christ is that blood sacrifice!Brother Jason: *Pro 4:23 KJV Keep (GUARD) thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.*Phi 4:7 KJV And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep (GUARD) your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.*Note that verse 7 starts with the word and so there is a qualifier in the preceding verses, we will cover that in more detail later.**Text Eph 2:8-22 KJV 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. 11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.Note verse 13 by the blood of Christ Jesus I can come now to God as my father because of the blood on the mercy seat! Note verse 14 that Christ Jesus is our peace! *Joh 14:1-7 KJV 1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have Support the show

And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee? 21 And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him.*2Ki 2:1-15 KJV 1 And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 2 And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel. 3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace. 4 And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. CD 1768 Having, Holding, Hearing the Holy SpiritPraying in the Holy SpiritDonna and I laid down at 8:00. Went to sleep somewhere around 9:00 then woke up after about 30 minutes. I have took NyQuil and Benadryl, a cold out the salsa still awake so now I took I a amitriptyline. So I'm sitting in my chair praying in tongues. Scriptures:Text: Jude 1:19-21 KJV 19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. From these versus the scripture we see three great benefits of praying in the Holy Spirit: #1 Faith being BuiltNotice in verse 19 they talk about being sensual in other words carnal rather than spiritual! But then the Lord with his word gives us the solution. He tells us to build ourselves up on our most holy Faith. Remember in Romans 12:3 we know that the lord gave us the measure of faith. We know that Romans 10:17 tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. When we consider what Jesus told us and John chapter 14 about the holy Spirit would remind us of things Jesus had said and teach us new things then it's clear that when we start praying in the holy Spirit that The measure of Faith the word was built on causes our soul - our mind will and emotions to be renewed! #2 Living by LoveBut as we see then in verse 21 there is a great extra added benefit as well! Notice he said that we were to keep ourselves in the love of God! Romans 5:5 tells us that the love of God is being shed abroad in our heart. So when we pray in tongues not only does it build up our faith but it puts the love of God to work in our lives. When we consider that first Corinthians 13:8 tells us that love never fails! So just in these few verses of scripture we see the power of living the abundant Life that Jesus came to give us!This is a great benefit in the understanding that Jesus said in John 14:15 if you love me you'll keep my commandments. So in other words we should be able to follow the word of God more closely in truth. This is very exciting when you consider and John 8:31 through 32 and then in verse 36 Jesus teaches about becoming his disciple and knowing the truth that would make us free. He said who the Son makes free is free indeed!#3 Moved by MercyHe tells us to look for His Mercy! That word translated looking means to wait and confidence with patience!Read Luke 1:71-75 KJV 71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; 72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; 73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, 74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, 75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.Notice in verse 72 that God had promised Mercy all through his word through his son Jesus Christ! From Genesis 3:15 to Isaiah prophesying about Jesus 700 years before the fact! So we can be assured of his Mercy. The more that we pray in the holy Spirit the more aware of the fact that because of this Mercy we have fellowship with him and do no longer have to be controlled by the spirit of fear! Note 2 Timothy 1:7 the word of God tells us that God is not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and love and of a sound mind!Support the show

Victoria: 2Co 3:17-18 KJV 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.*Text: 2Co 4:1-7 KJV 1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; 2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.Support the show

CD1760 Truth Tops Terror -A Partial RecordingIt's amazing the power of truth! The Lord Jesus made known that He alone is Truth! He taught us that He came to teach us the truth that makes us free when we know it with daily application!Turn with me to the great book of Psalms chapter 27 and let's see it revealed in the New Covenant!*Text: Psa 27:1 KJV A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?Notice this is titled a Psalm of King David. I know there is much debate about the time frame of this writing. #1 A Psalm is a song or poem used in worship of the Lord God. #2 A king is a person with authority #3 David's name from the Hebrew literally means burning or boiling love! This Psalms points us to our King of kings and Lord of lords in authority. Jesus Christ was burning with love for the lost and that was His purpose for being born of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary. Now let's top all terror by the Word of Truth:Reread: "The LORD is my light" - *John 1:1-5 KJV 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.Notice that that the Lord has always been, He is your Creator and His Light (Jesus - John 8:12 & 9:5) is your source out of darkness:*Ephesians 5:8 (KJV) For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:*Colossians 1:12-14 (KJV) 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:Reread "and my salvation" - notice it not past tense but your salvation is of the Lord of who this is no beginning nor ending! Present tense He is your salvation:*Read Titus 2:11-15 (KJV) 11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. 15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.Note we read in Psalms 27:1: "whom shall I fear":*2 Corinthians 7:1 (KJV) Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.*Read Matthew 10:28 (KJV) And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.Note we read in Psalms 27:1: "the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid". CD 1756 The Lord Exalted and the Devil HaltedBrother Jason please place this verse on the screen:*Revelation 20:10*Text Psalms 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."*Text Phi 2:9-11 KJV 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. That is a wonderful aspiration. The Word of God has several scriptures concerning the Lord being exalted! The children of God are to exalt the Lord among the heathen and in all the earth by the relationship with Him!*Read: 2Co 10:3-6 KJV 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. The devil will whip us every time if we stay in the flesh realm! But by faith if we meet him in the spiritual realm we will win through our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Consider these two verses that the apostle Paul also pin by the Holy Spirit: *Eph 6:12 KJV For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.*1Ti 1:18-19 KJV 18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; 19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:The devil is coming after your faith, he knows that is your way to victory. As the apostle Paul was getting ready to be delivered up and give his life for the gospel notice what he said: *2Ti 4:7 KJV I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:I'll send it you and I are going to have to fight the fight of faith but we will finish our course in victory when we cash down vain imaginations and don't let anything but Jesus the word be exalted in our lives!Support the show

CD 1754 Under the InfluenceChanged:Hateful to Hopeful Coward to Courageous Loathing to LovingPersecutor to PreacherBro. Jason on the screen: *Luke 12:45 (KJV) But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; *Ephesus 5:18 (KJV) And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; In the natural if I drink enough alcohol for it to influence me it changes my personality. I'm very naturally an introvert and uncomfortable and social situations. But with the influence of alcohol in the natural those inhibitions are pushed to the back. So if that could happen in the natural under alcohol how much more spiritually by being under the influence of the holy Spirit can we be changed. We're going to be looking at Ephesians chapter 5 about being filled with the holy Spirit and not being drunk on wine but on the spirits. Then we're going to go to Acts chapter 2 and see how the whole crowd thought that God's people was drunk in the natural! But they were drunk spiritually. In the natural when you're under the influence of alcohol it changes you personally. In my life everything becomes funny, I will come happy when the natural my flesh is never happy. But when we get drunk in the spirit of living God it turns to joy joy unspeakable and full of glory! In the natural it makes me have more boldness to do and say things that I normally wouldn't say. But in the spiritual even more so can the Lord move upon us to remove our inhibitions so we can help other people with the truth of the power of God's Gospel. In 2nd Timothy 1:7 The word of God says that God is not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind or self-control! Don't you love that idea of God's spirit being in you bringing up the word of God which stirs up your faith. We know you have faith we know that we have faith better sin because of Romans 12:3 says that God is dealt to every person the measure of faith! Just like in the natural soon the effects of the alcohol will start to fade! And in the spiritual if you and I don't stay full of the spirit the effects of the holy Spirit working our lives will fade. That's why Paul by the holy Spirit said that we are to continually be being filled by the holy Ghost. How are they recognized as being filled on the day of Pentecost? They got so full that a heavenly language came out and it produced hope in people because there was conviction that there was something better! God has something better for this world than what this darkness is trying to give them! You and I according to the Lord Jesus are the light of the world because he's in us, let your light shine freely! We can look at the apostle Peter before the crucifixion of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ He was bold when Jesus was around. But when Jesus was took to the judgment hall he could not stand for Jesus! A spirit of fear was dominating him was intoxicating him and he denied Jesus Christ as Lord three times! Then fast forward to Acts chapter 2 on the day of Pentecost! When he was filled with the holy Ghost and spoke with other tongues then he stood up with the others and proclaimed the gospel message in boldness and 3,000 souls were saved. What a difference! What is influencing you now at this moment? What is the normal of your life, is it influenced by the Spirit of fear or by the holy Spirit of the living God?Support the show

CD 1749 A False Reality because of a False NarrativeBrother Jason - screen:*Ecclesiastes 3:11(KJV) “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time…”*Jeremiah 29:11(KJV) “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” This means that God has a perfect timetable for everything in creation — including the events of our lives.Things may seem chaotic, painful, or pointless in the moment, but in God's larger plan, they have a place, a purpose, and a beauty.Just like a tapestry looks messy from the back but beautiful from the front, God is weaving something beautiful even when we don't see the pattern yet. “…also he hath set the world in their heart…”The Hebrew word here translated “world” is ‘olam' (עוֹלָם) — which can mean eternity or the timeless. This tells us that God has placed in the human heart a longing for something beyond time — for eternity, meaning, and the divine. What is a “false narrative”?A false narrative is simply a story we believe about ourselves, others, or life that isn't true — but we repeat it so often in our thoughts that it starts to feel like truth. It's not just a single false idea (like “I'm not good enough”), but rather a whole storyline built around that lie, such as:“I always fail, so I shouldn't even try.”“God blesses other people but not me.”“My past defines my worth.”That storyline shapes how we interpret everything — and like a script, we start to live according to the story rather than reality.Support the show

CD 1745 The Message of FaithThe most important message you will ever hear about faith!Boy that sounds like a very bold statement right? But I believe for this time period that we're living in we need to be reminded of the saving grace that comes in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. And that saving grace is at work in a person's life because of faith. So with that thought that's why I say this will be the most important message you've ever heard about faith at least for today! Number one we're saved by faith Number two Faith must grow or in other words faith to faith Number three we must complete our faith or in other words just as we started in faith we must die in faith! *Bro Jason - Hebrews 11:1-3 (KJV)*Text Matthew 9:27-31 (KJV) And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us. 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. 31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.Matthew 20:29-34 (KJV)29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.The two blind menNumber one saved by faith Ephesians 2:1-9 KJVNumber two growing our faithThe King James Version of the Bible offers several key passages on the topic of growing your faith. Rather than one single verse, the concept is woven throughout the New Testament, often connected to other spiritual disciplines. Here are some of the most important verses and passages:1. Romans 10:17This is perhaps the most direct statement on how faith is initiated and grown. * "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." This verse emphasizes that the primary way to develop and strengthen your faith is by consistently engaging with the Word of God—reading it, hearing it, and studying it.2. 2 Peter 3:18This verse provides a general command to believers to mature in their spiritual walk. * "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen." Growing in "grace" and "knowledge" is directly related to growing in faith. The more you know about Christ and His character, the more you can trust and rely on Him.3. James 1:2-4This passage speaks to how trials and tribulations can be a powerful tool for faith development. * "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." Here, "temptations" refers to trials or tests. CD 1728 Fear Bows to PeaceFear is of the devil, and fear brings torment ( see *1 John 4:18). One of the names of the devil is the Tormentor (see *Matthew 18:34)! Many people are bound by fear, and they are in great pain and discomfort! There is a lie to hold them back, but praise God, there's a truth that makes one free!*John 20:19-20 KJVS - 19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.Notice the disciples were bound by fear, but then the Lord Jesus came to where they were with a message just for thrm! He said Peace be unto you! His peace is a direct opposite of the fear they were feeling. It was a fear you could cut with a knife! But even though He had told them peace be unto them, they had to see Jesus' resurrected body for themselves to be able to receive His peace! Notice it's chapter 20 verse 20, so 20/20 vision of Jesus is what brings His peace and drives out the world's fear. Because it says when the disciples saw for themselves what He went through on the cross then they were glad! It's not knowing that yes there was a Jesus historically and there was a cross it's seeing that He went to that cross for you personally! Let's dive deeper on Fear: * 2 Timothy 1:7: "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." * This verse directly states that fear is not from God, contrasting it with the gifts He does give: power, love, and a disciplined mind. * Psalm 56:3: "What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee." * A simple yet powerful declaration of faith in the face of fear. * Isaiah 41:10: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." * God's promise to be present, to strengthen, help, and uphold His people, dispelling fear. * Psalm 23:4: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." * Even in the darkest moments, the presence of God provides comfort and removes fear. We mentioned this verse in the opening but let's study it now: * 1 John 4:18: "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." * This is a foundational verse, indicating that genuine love for God, which is perfected in us, expels fear because fear itself is a torment. * Proverbs 29:25: "The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe." * Contrasts the danger of fearing people with the safety found in trusting God.Now let's get back to the Peace of Jesus Christ and how fear must bow: * John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." * Jesus directly gives His peace, a peace distinct from worldly peace, to calm troubled hearts and banish fear. * John 16:33: "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." * Jesus tells His disciples that they will experience tSupport the show

CD 1729 Goodness, Mercy, Truth*TEXT Psalms 100:1-5 (KJV) Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generationsNote the Lord 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.Support the show

CD 1730 With a Great Ending and not a Great FallBro Jason: *2 Thessalonians 2:3:"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;*Revelation 1:8: "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."The Bible, especially in the King James Version (KJV), provides several examples and warnings about individuals and even nations that started with promise but ultimately strayed and faced negative consequences. These narratives highlight the importance of perseverance in faith and obedience. Here are some KJV scriptures and biblical examples that illustrate the theme of starting well but not ending well:General Principles: * Ecclesiastes 7:8: "Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit." (While not directly about a bad ending, it emphasizes the importance of the outcome over the initial state.) * Proverbs 16:18: "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." (Often, a good beginning is ruined by pride or a change in heart.) * Galatians 5:7: "Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?" (This speaks to those who once followed the right path but were diverted.) * Luke 9:62: "And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." (This emphasizes the need for continuous dedication and not turning back once committed.)Support the show

But those who want to experience the fullness of life must learn how to follow Jesus! When we get to our text we'll see that it's talking about the Jewish people at first but at the end of the chapter we find out that God sent out to the hedges and the byways to reach us the gentiles! So we can apply this to our lives this morning!Bro Jason on the screen:*Luke 19:10 (KJV) For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.*John 10:10 (KJV) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. The Greek word "zoe" used here is often translated as "life" but carries a deeper meaning of "absolute fullness of life". Text Luke 14:1-11 (KJV) And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy.3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?4 And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go;5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?6 And they could not answer him again to these things.7 And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them.8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.Note verses 10 & 11! In verse 10 because if humility Jesus says go up! Then he says by humility comes exaltation. With that being said let's look for a second and third witness!Submission by humility allows God's Exaltations:See James 4:10 (KJV) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.See 1 Peter 5:6 (KJV) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:Support the show

As soon as he got on and was successful he was to send for them. It was a long time before he succeeded, but at last he got money enough to send for them. The wife's heart leaped for joy. She took her boy to New York, got on board a Pacific steamer, and sailed away to San Francisco. They had not been long at sea before the cry of “Fire! fire!” rang through the ship, and rapidly it gained on them. There was a powder magazine on board, and the captain knew the moment the fire reached the powder, every man, woman, and child must perish. They got out the life-boats, but they were too small! In a minute they were overcrowded. The last one was just pushing away, when the mother pled with them to take her and her boy. “No,” they said, “we have got as many as we can hold.” She entreated them so earnestly, that at last they said they would take one more. Do you think she leaped into that boat and left her boy to die? No! She seized her boy, gave him one last hug, kissed him, and dropped him over into the boat. “My boy,” she said, “if you live to see your father, tell him that I died in your place.”That is a faint picture of what Christ has done for us. He laid down his life for us. He died that we might live. Now will you not love Him? What would you say of that young man if he should speak contemptuously of such a mother! She went down to a watery grave to save her son. Well, shall we speak contemptuously of such a Saviour? May God make us loyal to Christ!Source: Anecdotes and Illustrations of D. L. Moody, D. L. CD 1716 ImportanceAs I was walking and praying in the spirit, this question came to me very clearly: is what 's important to you also what is important to God? We need to stop and be still in the Lord's presence and ask him if we are self-centered or savior centered!Q. What is most important to God? A. Simply stated what is most important to God is a revelation of his love for his creation! That love is what brings his mercy, forgiveness and justice into our lives! *Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.*1 Corinthians 13:13 (KJV) And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. * 1 Peter 4:8 ( KJV) And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. *1 John 4:7-11 (KJV) Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. So it's very important to God who is the God of love for us to receive his love first! Then we can love him as Jesus taught in Matthew 22:37 through 39 and we can love others as we love ourselves! That is the utmost importance to the Lord God Almighty and everything that we desire should stem from his love. Make his love our number one priority! The key to becoming more Savior-centered and less self-centered is to continually seek God's will and allow the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts.Support the show
