We're all called to have territory in the Kingdom—a business, city, people group, or cause where we serve as first fruits and resource others. Graham Cooke explores how God is shifting us from network-focused ministry to geographic apostolic vision where entire cities can be transformed when we embrace the truth that other churches matter. Discover what it means to live from your present into your future rather than from your past into your present, and how this conversation with God about your territory is more urgent than you might think.Key Scriptures:+ Luke 6:38. Have you ever felt invisible — like your prayers were bouncing off the ceiling, and even God had gone quiet? As our daily prayer and devotional remind us, In those moments of deep loneliness or misunderstanding, it’s easy to believe that God has forgotten you. But Isaiah 58:9 offers a promise we can cling to: when we call, the Lord answers; when we cry for help, He says, “Here am I.” Rachel Wojo, host of Untangling Prayer, shares a personal story of feeling isolated after a painful workplace conflict. The tension left her feeling unseen and rejected, not only by her coworkers but even, for a time, by God. Yet when she brought her hurt and bitterness honestly before Him, everything changed. The situation didn’t resolve instantly, but God’s presence brought peace. His silence, she discovered, was not His absence. The Hebrew word for “answer” in this passage means to respond or pay attention. That means when you pray, God is not distracted or distant. You have His full attention. Even when you can’t hear His voice or sense His hand at work, He is near — fully aware of your pain, your prayers, and your needs. If you feel forgotten today, take comfort in this truth: God sees you. He hears you. And when you call, His loving response is always, “Here am I.” Today's Bible Reading:“Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.” – Isaiah 58:9

Darkness wins thru exhaustion. Locke and Hobbs were on it. Rebelling against despair. The invisible agreement between power and the people. Obedience as virtue. We choose the chains we wear. Freedom requires maintenance. Do we owe those who no longer keep their promises? Democracy is staring at the corpse of it's promise. Who will speak the truth when it costs something? If you are interested in the Daily Bible Devotional, you can find it at the links below:Amazon - (paperback, hardcover, and Kindle)YouTube Video Introducing the ContentFeel free to reach out with any questions: emersonk78@me.comI Peter 2Peter urges believers to eliminate all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander. Like newborn infants, they should crave pure spiritual milk so they may grow in their salvation. He describes believers as living stones being constructed into a spiritual house, with Jesus as the chosen and precious cornerstone. Those who believe in Him will never be put to shame, while those who reject Him will stumble. Peter reminds believers that they are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and God's special possession. They are called to declare His praises and live honorable lives among nonbelievers. He encourages submission to authority and urges servants to endure suffering for doing good. Christ is presented as the ultimate example of patient endurance and sacrificial love. By His wounds, we are healed.  We are taught to live differently because we belong to God. As His chosen people, we must rid our lives of harmful attitudes and actions and yearn for the truth of His Word. We are being built together as a spiritual house, with Jesus as our cornerstone. When we trust in Him, we stand firm. Even when the world rejects us, we know we are valuable to God. We are called to reflect His light through our choices so that others may see His goodness. We must live honorably, respect those in authority, and show patience even when treated unfairly. Christ suffered for doing good, and we are to follow His example of love, humility, and trust in God's justice. Almighty God, thank You for challenging us to grow in respect to salvation. Help us live as Your chosen people, holy and set apart for Your purpose. Teach us to lay aside all sin and to hunger for the truth of Your Word. Thank You for establishing us as Your own, grounded in Jesus Christ, our cornerstone. Give us strength to live honorably and bring Your glory in every situation. When we face injustice, help us respond with patience and trust in Your perfect justice. May we follow the example of Christ, who suffered for us and showed boundless love. Thought Questions: Why is it crucial to put away malice and envy in order to be nourished by the word and to taste of the kindness of the Lord? As part of the temple of God, a member of His chosen people, what are your responsibilities in that special role and family?  Why must you keep your behavior excellent among non-believers? When that is hard, how does Jesus's life and choices inspire you?

Right off the bat, Wells goes into a full-blown rant about the current state of our world… Spoiler: it's in shambles. The government can't keep their sh*t together, and churches won't help a fake starving baby get formula. What TF is happening here? The shutdown leaves Wells with some BIG questions: Why are TSA agents government employees? And, what will happen if flights stop before Thanksgiving? “God forbid it's Pop-Pop's last Thanksgiving.” Meanwhile, Brandi's confirmed that the holiday shoppers are out in full force, and finding a formal outfit for an insanely tall man (AKA Matt) is basically impossible. To add to their long list of current complaints, DWTS really dropped the ball with their celebrity judge pick (justice for Alix Earle), and J-Lo wasted Wells' time with her sci-fi flop, Atlas. On the bright side, Wells introduces us to baseball's most chaotic legend, Rube Waddell, Miley snagged a Grammy nomination, and Dirty Grandpa turns British for Wells' new show Sweet Empire—a show you don't want to miss. The Poco a Poco Podcast with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal

Episode 271 - Fire, Desire, Theosis What do you really hunger and thirst for? As the friars continue through the Franciscan Lent, they dive deep into the Beatitude: "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied." This conversation is about holy desire, the kind that burns, refines, and draws us closer to God Himself. They unpack what it means to let go of lesser hungers, to purify our desires, and to rediscover the fire that leads to union with God. From St. Francis' radical poverty to our own longing for holiness, the friars remind us that this journey isn't about doing more, but actually about becoming more like Him. Join us as we learn to hunger for what truly satisfies, the very life of God alive within us. It's Witness Wednesday! A sharp history student, Cole, wrestles with the resurrection, truth, and his own conscience—then a Hebrew Roots believer named Carlos questions Easter, church tradition, and the name “Jesus.” Segment 1 • A thoughtful agnostic history major explores the reliability of Scripture and the resurrection. • Todd walks him through manuscript evidence and eyewitness testimony. • Can Christianity stand the test of history? Segment 2 • The conversation turns from intellect to conscience—lying, lust, blasphemy, and guilt before God. • Justice and mercy collide at the cross as Todd explains how forgiveness is possible. • Will Cole see his need for grace? Segment 3 • The tension rises: evidence vs. surrender. • Todd reminds Cole that the Christian faith is intellectual, but it's not JUST intellectual. • Todd urges Cole to respond before it's too late. Segment 4 • A self-described believer rejects “Easter,” insists on “Yeshua,” and blends Hebrew roots with Christian faith. • Todd probes what's behind the name debate and where saving faith truly rests. • Can focusing on details make us miss the gospel itself? ___ Thanks for listening! Discerning spirits, the nature of God, glorious sociality, the timing of the Second Coming, eternal marriage, and plural marriage. In this pivotal lesson, we jump into the deep end of Restoration doctrine, covering Joseph Smith's most profound teachings on the nature of God, our eternal potential, and the covenants that bind us forever. Summary: This episode explores D&C 129–132, revelations containing foundational and high-level doctrine for the Church. D&C 129: Discerning Spirits. The Lord provides "three grand keys" to distinguish a resurrected being, a righteous spirit, and the devil appearing as an angel of light. This section emphasizes the eternal reality of the body and the importance of discernment. D&C 130: Eternal Knowledge and Timing. Joseph records several "items of instruction," including the promise that "whatever principle of intelligence we attain unto in this life, it will rise with us in the resurrection," providing an "advantage in the world to come." He also recounts the Lord's gentle command to "trouble me no more" about the timing of the Second Coming. Crucially, we learn that the "same sociality" we enjoy here, "coupled with eternal glory," will exist in the world to come. D&C 131: The New and Everlasting Covenant. This section reveals that in the celestial glory, a man "must enter into this order of the priesthood [the new and everlasting covenant of marriage]" to obtain the highest degree and have an eternal "increase." D&C 132: Eternal Marriage and Law. This essential revelation lays out the foundational law of eternal marriage, which must be "sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise" and entered into by revelation through the authorized servant. We discuss the stark difference between marriages that "have an end when men are dead" and those that lead to "thrones, kingdoms, principalities, and powers." We also examine the difficult topic of plural marriage, seeing it as an Abrahamic test given by command to "restore all things." Call-to-Action: What kind of "knowledge and intelligence" are you working to secure for your resurrection? Share your study goals in the comments! When life feels mundane or unfulfilling, it’s easy to seek joy and satisfaction in circumstances, possessions, or people. But as our daily prayer and reflection on Psalm 37:4 reminds us, true joy is found not in what we have, but in who we have — the Lord Himself. In this reflective devotional, Emily Rose Massey explores what it really means to “delight” in the Lord. The original Hebrew conveys the idea of being soft, pliable, and dependent — a heart that takes pleasure in God alone and trusts His ways above all else. To delight in the Lord is not a suggestion, but a command — one that calls us to find our ultimate satisfaction in Him. As we do, something beautiful happens: our desires begin to change. The more we enjoy and depend on God, the more our hearts align with His. Our ambitions, affections, and prayers begin to reflect His will instead of our own. When we take joy in God for who He is — not just what He can do for us — He fills our lives with peace, contentment, and purpose. Even in seasons of waiting or monotony, delighting in the Lord draws us into deeper intimacy with Him and reshapes our hearts to desire what truly matters. Today's Bible Reading:“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” – Psalm 37:4, NKJV

In this Bible Story, we witness the tragic yet noble death of James. He would be the first apostle to become a martyr, and he would not be the last. As persecution of the church increases, so does the risk of imprisonment. Yet death is no match for Jesus, nor is it a threat to those who believe in him. This story is inspired by Acts 12. Go to BibleinaYear.com and learn the Bible in a Year.Today's Bible verse is Acts 12:7 from the King James Version.Episode 227: As men and women ran from burning buildings to escape death, they were captured by King Herod and imprisoned. These Christians were the only thing standing between him and power. James, one of the Lord’s twelve disciples, remained in the city preaching about the restoration that Jesus brings. While he was preaching, Herod sent guards to kill him where he stood. A public death sent a message from Herod that he is King, not Jesus. But this persecution could not stop Jesus or His followers. This week, Jake and Bob explore how inner healing is rooted within the tradition of the Catholic Church. Drawing from the Catechism, they discuss the three expressions of prayer—vocal, meditative, and contemplative—and how each form is incorporated within the inner healing process. Far from being a psychological exercise, inner healing comes from a deeply relational encounter with Jesus and restores the whole person so we might live in deeper communion with Him.   Key Points: Inner healing prayer is deeply rooted in the Church's tradition The Catechism identifies three key expressions of prayer: vocal, meditation, and contemplative. These are all at the heart of the inner healing process Healing comes from an encounter with Jesus and is not a result of a mere completion of steps  When we pray, we need to engage our hearts instead of simply repeating words God is always present when we pray, even when we cannot hear His voice Inner healing often requires us to patiently cooperate with God's timing. He knows more about the mysteries and vulnerabilities of our hearts than we do   Catechism Paragraphs Mentioned in the Episode: Vocal Prayer: CCC 2700 Meditation: CCC 2705 - 2706, 2708,  Contemplative Prayer: CCC 2709 - 2710, 2716    Connect with Restore the Glory:  Instagram: @restoretheglorypodcast  Twitter: @RestoreGloryPod Facebook: Restore the Glory Podcast   Never miss out on an episode by hitting the subscribe button right now! He praises God for granting an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and reserved in heaven. Trials and suffering are depicted as means to refine faith, which is more precious than gold. Peter emphasizes that salvation has been foretold by the prophets and revealed through Christ. He urges believers to live holy lives, fully setting their hope on the grace to come. As obedient children, they are called to be distinct from the world and to live in reverent fear, knowing they were redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. Peter reminds them that the will of God endures forever and that they have been born again through the living Word.  We are reminded in this passage that our hope is not rooted in anything temporary but in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because of this, we can face trials with confidence, knowing that God uses them to strengthen and refine our faith. We are called to live holy and obedient lives, setting ourselves apart from the world and keeping our eyes on the eternal inheritance that awaits us. As we reflect on the cost of our redemption, we are inspired to live in reverent awe of God. We have been born again through His living and enduring Word, and we now have a purpose to live differently. Each day, we strive to reflect His holiness in our thoughts and actions. Gracious Lord, thank You for a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We praise You for the inheritance that is kept in heaven for us, pure and everlasting. Help us remain strong through trials, knowing that our faith is being refined and made more precious than gold. Teach us to live holy lives, set apart for Your glory. May we walk in reverent fear, always remembering the great price You paid for our redemption. Let Your Word grow in our hearts and guide our steps daily. Strengthen us to live in obedience and to love one another sincerely. Thought Questions: What has God's mercy and power accomplished for you? Specifically, what is the promised “inheritance”, and how does it guide your life? How do you “prepare your mind for action, keep sober in spirit, and fix your hope completely” on Christ's return on a daily basis? Why is the love of brethren such a central part of living the Word and honoring the sacrifice of Jesus? How do you do this when it is difficult?
