    Alex is based in Philadelphia, and after leaving Drexel University early, he started building websites for businesses. As he was freelancing, he had a deep desire for a community as he worked. Indy Hall has become a staple in Philadelphia and has grown to hundreds of members.     Rand Fishkin dropped out of the University of Washington in 2000 to work full-time at his mother’s small business marketing firm as a web designer. In 2004, he created the SEOmoz blog, which, over the next decade, became the world’s most popular community and content resource for search marketers. In 2007, Rand became CEO of SEOmoz, Inc (now called Moz), the software company he co-founded with his mom based on the blog’s success. Over 7 years as CEO, Rand grew Moz from 7 employees to 134, revenues from $800K to $29.3mm, and traffic from 1 to 30mm annual visitors. He raised two rounds of funding, led three acquisitions, and a rebrand. Rand stepped down as CEO in February of 2014 during a rough bout with depression and left the company 4 years later. He remains chairman of Moz’s board. Chelsea Bancroft, who is a travel blogger and Instagrammer based in Austin, TX worked at Oracle when she decided to quit and move to Australia and travel while being an Au Per for a family. While she left home to travel, she started a blog to share with friends and family. Although her blog was growing and she was living the international life that many dreams about, she missed home and wanted to get to a job. She moved back to Austin and started working as head of social media with a successful auto dealer in greater Austin, Roger Beasly Automotive, which has 5 locations. She has helped build their brand online for over three years while still running her own personal blog that has shifted to more local Austin content. Chelsea has worked with travel brands like W Hotels, Fairmont Hotels, and Westin Hotels and brands like Amazon, Outdoor Voices, Bumble, and ESPN.     Shayda Torabi is the Texas Cannabis Queen, which is not an easy title to carry in one of the most conservative states in the US. Shayda is the co-founder of RestartCBD, a blogger and Instagrammer for her personal brand, WithShayda, consults for other Cannabis Startups, and even recently started her own podcast, To Be Blunt. Before jumping into the Cannabis business in 2018, she thrived in tech as a manager in marketing for WP Engine. As she traveled for work, she started her food blog and Instagram, Dinewithshayda. As her following grew more and her interests went beyond just food, she rebranded to WithShayda. As she worked full time at WP Engine, she worked with major brands on her blog like Amazon Prime, Buzzfeed, Outdoor Voices, and more.
