That old sneaky, subtle pride will block up your blessings! It's pride that will cause us to run ahead of God to make things happen.  Pride can morph into comparing and competing with others instead of functioning in the spirit of true collaboration.  It can show up as needing to be seen, puffed up and validated externally based on works instead of simply being who you are in God. One thing I do know, God is not going to give you something (business, career, project, etc.) if it is going to kill you. The biggest lie ever ---- The Only the only way to get over someone, is to get under someone else,”   A complete lie that has created untold and unnecessary pain and suffering. We are at the end of the month….The first month of the year and it's time for a check in. How well did you function with all those goals, dreams, and plans?  Did you lay a good foundation of thought and strategy beforehand? Often, we experience a lot of emotional turmoil and instability because we do not feel seen. We feel that no one really sees us and gets us. Or because we have been through so much trauma and drama, we don't feel safe. Pursuing purpose, showing up authentically, being “out there” and putting yourself “out there” seems very scary and unsafe.  Being in community and connecting to other people – unsafe. Drake had it right in his hit single “In my Feelings” back in 2018... as women we know very, very well that we can get caught up in our feelings when it comes to a man (can I get an amen?)  But we can also get “in our feelings” from things that happen and don't happen in our day to day lives… such as “They didn't return my call… I only had two likes on that post.  Still no sales.  No one signed up for my course.  My manager/friend/boyfriend/sister/son/daughter got on my last nerve today.
