• You know, basically my life, it started out as a little bit traumatic, not consciously though, which is really what messed me up for the rest of my life. So I was adopted. And just that alone really created trauma and issues in my life, but I couldn't consciously connect those memories with a feeling with an emotion within myself, because I didn't consciously remember. As a baby, you got taken away, and then, you know, you were monitored. You weren't really, you know, loved on for the first couple of months. So I had to figure all of this out through my shadow work that wow, I really started out this life in a traumatic way because I started out, you know, having these abandonment issues. (02:30)• So I was still trying to self-soothe through drugs and alcohol throughout all of this, even though, you know, I was so successful on the outside, like winning awards and living this extravagant career life as a business person. You know, but I was still inwardly, I was hurting really. When I left the real estate industry and joined, I became a president to a mental health gym. That's really when I dove into biohacking. I had already experimented along my journey with a little bit of biohacking here and there, but I was using it in a negative way. To try to bring my brain back from the parties. After, you know, a whole night of drinking and drugs, I would use bio-hacking tools to sharpen myself back up. (06:05)• If you're being chased by a lion, boom, your body will go into fight or flight, you'll be able to pick up and run fast because the blood is going to your extremities. You know, your pupils dilate, so you can take in more and you're basically just running away from a threat. The problem is these days is that people are stuck like that, their bodies are stuck in that response. So now it's impossible to basically heal yourself because your gut completely shuts down when you're in fight or flight. So if you're eating and you're in fight or flight, you're not absorbing that nutrition, you're not taking really anything from that meal that you're eating. You're not thinking consciously you lose 30% brain capacity when you're in fight or flight. (13:27)• You know, you can really tell the people that have done the work, done the deep shadow work. Because they'll literally come from a place of no judgment. It's very difficult for me now to really be angry at people because I understand where that comes from, you know, even the trolls and these people, these haters. I just, honestly, I feel kind of bad for them because their pain runs so deep that they have to express it outwardly to other people, and that's deep pain within itself. Because if you've done the work and you've addressed your issues, you can't really spit that negativity upon other things. It's almost impossible because you don't have it inside of you. Wayne Dyer says the best, What happens when you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out, what happens when you squeeze a lemon? Lemon juice comes out. What happens when you squeeze yourself? • First off, I've been in this business since... Well, I've been on the internet since 1994, and I've worked early on creating businesses, so in 2004, I started teaching podcasting, and prior to that, I helped people get into TV shows, radio, things like that, and there was so many people that had something that they desperately wanted to share. But there was such a limited amount of space. When you try to go into television or movies or anything like that, there are not a lot of spots available, it's like everybody was clamoring to get there. But then when I saw the internet, it's kind of opened up and there's this opportunity for everybody to have a place to speak... To share the message. Their truth. So one of the things that I did was I created FMG Radio and Podcasting Network, and that was in 2004, the first time I created it, and started really bringing in people to really hone in what their message was and find that true power within themselves to be able to share that. (02:46)• When you think about when you're speaking to people through your podcast, that's what you're doing is like the tonality of your voice, the resonance, how you're speaking to people, when you have that confidence in your voice. That way when you're talking to people, they actually are picking up your energy... We're all intertwined energetically. Everybody in this universe is intertwined, we're able to be fed information. When Einstein talked about relativity, and he would talk about black holes, a lot of it was a theory before, but now they know it's true, and then they start looking at electro-magnetics. Electromagnetic waves is what causes that interconnection between all human beings and actually every object, everything in the universe. But what they found is around the edges of the black holes runs this electromagnetic waves, and so it's interconnected. So, think about how every soul, every being, every plant, everything is connected, throughout the whole universe. (06:39)• What you're talking about is emotion, every cell of your body has vibrational energy within the cell, and so when you have things that have happened to you, like trauma, things that traps that emotion into each cell, the vibration of your voice will be different. So once you open up the trauma, that emotion, and release it, your voice will actually change. When I was younger, my oldest son, he passed away, and my voice changed automatic, it just got really deep, like a man. And I'd go to the doctor and they were like, I don't know what's wrong with you, my voice was just like a man's voice. But my emotions, it triggered something in the vibration of my body because when you speak, it comes up your larynx, you have these vocal cords, they vibrate to be able to have the sound come out. So when the vibration of my body changed, the vibration and my vocal cords changed, which then changed my voice. Once I was able to kind of go through the emotions and clear a lot of that out, and my voice came back to normal. (11:17)• Because when you're sitting there thinking, what does this person want to hear? It's not what you're saying, it's the intention behind what you're saying. So what's your intention? I think that you need to look at that first. When you start putting your message out there and you have that intention in mind, and you think about these people that you want to connect with, and it's like, what is it that you want to help transform for them? • Number One: You have to actually decide to shift the sh*t right? Enough is enough in the cycle, because if you don't like where you're at, then change it. Decide that you're actually going to take the action to change it... Because if you don't, then you're not going to ever change, and that's just the reality of it. If you can't make the decision to actually change, then you're not going to change, and that's really not what you want. So, dig deep and realize that you want to change, to make the decision. (02:07) • Number Two: Tell me what you want, what you really, really want. So, you actually need to know at this point. Make a decision, know what you want, and focus on what you want. That may take a little bit of time to work on yourself to figure out what you really want. (02:54) • Number Three: Pause, observe and redirect. So if you're finding yourself trying to focus on what you want, and then you start to become aware like you're having negative thoughts, or you're saying you can't do something, or having negative self-talk, you're saying something that goes against what you want. To see what you're wanting to focus on, then pause, stop yourself, observe it, become aware of what you're saying and doing, and then redirect yourself. Because you know, it's going to happen, especially in the beginning, you're going to find yourself drifting to that old programming. But that's what we're learning to do, or learning to shift that sh*t, so it doesn't keep happening. So, you're going to pause, observe and redirect. Then you're going to commit. (03:22) • Number Four: Committing to daily discipline. To commit to daily discipline, to actually take that step to shift, and that's where it becomes a habit. All of a sudden, it's going to shift where you're having more of what you're focusing on. I know you can do that daily discipline, commit to it, to becoming a disciple to yourself, becoming discipline. And form a new habit. (04:17)• Number Five: Stay in the present moment. Be intentional on that. That's what happens when you pause, you kind of stop yourself and you observe, you actually do take yourself back to the present moment. So just know that you have the power to choose that, and you have the power to choose that now. You can take your power back, and it's something that you have to do every day. So, every day, remember that you can do these. Number One – Decide. Number Two – Know. Number Three - Pause. Number Five: Stay Present. Know the direction that you want to take your life and know that you have the power to create your reality. You've got this, I believe in you. Now go believe in yourself. • Yeah, and so it's about loving yourself enough to know your value and to leave your situation when you know it's not good for you, or not getting into a situation that you know is a huge red flag. There's a couple of funny memes that I've seen that are hilarious one is perfect for Valentine's day, because this guy is holding a dozen red flags and she goes, 'Oh a dozen red flags, I love him so much', and then there's another one where he says 'Good morning beautiful'. And she says, 'Take me off rotation'. (8:05)• When that happens, I think is a very important to know what to do. So I think a lot of times people don't do anything because they don't know what to do, they either cut bait and go or they don't do anything. So I think the important thing is to tell people what do you do at that point. Well, that's where communication skills come in, you have to know how to open your mouth and speak. And you know what? It may be a little scary to communicate with someone, especially someone you only just started knowing. I'm like, Listen, first of all, you have to have healthy boundaries. And you have to know what those are. If your boundary is, I need to be respected, like say someone stood you up on a date or something like that. That's probably a boundary. You carve out your time for that person, they decide the last minute they're not going or something, and they act like it's no big deal, that's a red flag. And it's something that needs to be addressed now. (12:40)• There's so much integrity in realizing, Okay, we're not a match. I tell people, 'You're not dating to make it a match, you're dating to see if it is one, and so even when you go through break ups and such, and I've had episodes about breakups, sometimes you complete a relationship and it's about the two people realizing, Okay, this is not working, this is not going to be... We're not compatible for whatever reason, and sometimes they're very difficult. But as long as you do look and realize, Okay, there's lessons to be learned from here in this relationship, and you take those to heart and you go on in the future and say, Okay, now I know what I need and what I want, and hopefully the other person does too, and you help each other grow... What is better than that? I mean, that's what we all want to do. So you're not forcing it to be a match... I think some people get in a relationship and think I have to make this work, I have to... I have to... And they're just like, beating their head against the wall. What's the point of that? (19:33)• I was married for 20 years and you were married for a long time, we have an our story from it, right? We have our experience from it, so do our spouses are ex's. They have their story and what they learned from it, neither is wrong or right to be honest. It's what we both needed. But whenever I was married, my life felt like, my soul that like, I was like dead. So I felt like my life was being sucked out of me, and I don't blame that on my ex, it's just the relationship wasn't meant to continue. He didn't suck the life out of me, it was the relationship that was no longer serving me...or him. And so I had to make the decision, I had to be strong enough and listen to that gut feeling, listen to my inner voice saying, 'You are not supposed to be here anymore, get out. • Now, when we get into things like depression, it's helpful to go and look at the biggest, most common things that are happening in our country and the way that people are struggling with digesting protein... I know that sounds weird to go, Wait a minute, you talk about the depression and you're taking about digesting proteins, but why it's important is all of those happy hormones that all the medications they're trying to act upon? They're trying to act upon serotonin, trying to act upon dopamine, they're trying to act upon norepinephrine, and they're trying to keep these happy hormones artificially high in the brain. Well, one of the questions for me, to them is, Why do we need to artificially keep them? Hey, why don't you have an ample amount of those in the first place? And that's why people need to understand that those are derived from essential amino acids. (03:07)• Okay, so how do you fix it is your question. There's different tools out there to do that, a lot of it is lifestyle changes, eating smaller amounts, making sure, of course, you're chewing your food, really chew your food, not drinking too much water with your meal, because that will dilute the stomach acid, making sure that you have enough zinc, because zinc is required for stomach acid production, so you can do a zinc test... In our clinic, we have a taste test, so you can take something zinc sulfate and you hold it in your mouth, and what you taste kind of helps determine whether you have appropriate levels of zinc in your body. Yeah, and fasting is actually a really good way to help heal your digestive system as well, because we're constantly... We have this unconscious faith that anything we put into our mouth is just going to be magically turned into all the nutrients that we need to sustain life, and it doesn't work that way. (09:04)• It's a limiting belief, and that happens. And it happens in all kinds of situations, right? Like a kid tries to do something nice for their parent and the parent was in a bad mood that day, and when they made this great gift and they present it to the parent... The parent was like, Whatever, I don't want that right now. That left an impression on that kid, that giving gifts to people is bad, right? So, now we've got to figure out, Wait a minute, that was just a one tiny little situation, but it impacted you because you were young and impressionable, now we're going to balance it out. (18:57)• One of my healthcare heroes always says that justice and health includes access to and knowledge of all the options, and I don't think number one, that people definitely have the knowledge of the options, and that's my mission to get out there and then they access... Not just access and the means of they have McDonalds, but then there's also a store right there next to it that has a healthy option, but access through their community. If their community is setting up mental barriers to keep them from having access to a belief that's gonna get them healthier. We have a situation where we have more drive-through restaurants and fasted restaurants than we know what to do with. Exactly. So, I guess we just have to keep sharing our message and be bringing education and awareness. • You were talking about love before we jump on and recorded, and I was thinking about that, the fact that... What I love about it is when you love something or some person, you benefit from it because you get to feel the love, right? That's sure. They might get it, they might be benefiting from it, but because you're putting yourself in that position where you're getting to feel it, you're winning already. That's the best thing about love...I agree, love is a very good thing to feel. (04:07)• When you start thinking about what you were and you see it from a fresh perspective, it's so hard to look back because you want to help that person you know, because you know what you know now, and you think, Oh man, they struggled through so many things and yes, it was a period of my life. I was transitioning, I think, between elementary school and middle school, and I gained a ton of weight over the course of a winter, eating a lot of sugar, and I didn't even realize. I guess it hadn't happened until I went back to school and we were in a bit of a gym class situation where we had to run down to the certain pole and run back and remember running and being passed by who I thought was the kid who was overweight in class, and he passed me like I was sitting still. And then it was just this big moment where I kind of looked down and realized that I was the big kid, I was the fat kid in school. (06:05)• The interesting thing about nutrition in general is it's a young science, so we're still kind of discovering and understanding as we go, all these pieces, and I'm always trying to distill things down to irrefutable facts, because it's one thing to know it for yourself, to have that experience and know that sugar is no longer a part of my life because it doesn't do anything for me. It may do a small thing for me, but the cost to me is so much greater than the benefit. But to help somebody else understand that's the journey of that, that's so hard sometimes because you have to understand where somebody's coming from, you have to figure out why would they be interested in hearing this in the first place, what do they want to solve? How can I communicate this to them? And so I find this with all the different things, every new little pearl, every new little secret that I find I want to share with people. (10:50)• Here's where I always want to make a point about placebo, if you can get some placebo effect in line with something that's truly healing, somebody will do it, right? Why wouldn't you use that power... We don't want to think, Oh, it's just a placebo? Well, yeah, it is, but it works. So that's what I love about nutrition and education, so when I found out that, there's a Dr. Walsh, and in his books here behind me on the wall, because I give it to almost anybody who has depression. He looked at this for 35 years, he looked at 30,000 different individuals who suffered from depression and anxiety, and he looked at millions of labs, and by far, he said, the most common biochemical problem we found is a zinc deficiency, so who would think? No one would think, Oh, I'm depressed, maybe I need more zinc. • And I think it's part of the process too. We have to learn to identify ourselves in our environment, but then as we grow up, we start to realize a lot of those programming, they aren't what we were truly brought here to express, so we do this process of peeling a lot of that off to reveal who we really are. Yeah, and I think that that's really cool because that is what we're here to do is just to discover that truth. But some people never do. And I think that that's why you and I are here to help people awaken to the truth. (02:14)• If you did that in your career and in your relationship and in your personal growth, how does that feel? Yeah, I think that that is a lot to process because you can look at your last year and have a lot of regrets and hate yourself, and that's not good. But maybe just look back at it and be like, What could I do now? That would make fulfillment better. But like you said, Love what you already did, love the whole last year, and just know that this year is going to be just another part of your development, opening up and flowering. Like you said, and discovering that authentic self. (06:26)• And I guess for some people, maybe they just want to keep doing the same thing every day, all day, and maybe that's what their mission is, to do in their experience. But then for the other people that are having a longing, they really seek more and desire more. Yeah, mix it up a little bit. I started doing that more last year, and it does really make a difference, you're like, Oh, I didn't even know I'd like to do that, and... Oh wow, I didn't even know that existed. That reminds me of what you focus on, you really do see, it's so cool because that can be with everything. Definitely, and some people really do love where they're at, people are really living with the thing they have set up, and I have all the honor in the world for that, that's a beautiful place to be in. And for some people, it lasts a really long time, and some people, that's a fleeting experience. And so I think that's a beautiful thing to cherish too, but yeah, if you are on a journey of, Hey, I want to do something different, or I need some change in my life or I have been in repeating patterns, there's just a lot out there. Like I said, just bring the curiosity along and go on a journey of synchronicity. (09:50)• If one thing's going to go up, something else is going to go down. So to prepare for that, by being okay with those helpless moments for a minute and trying to reap their beauty too. Exactly, yeah, because when I say no pain, no gain, and you really do fall to your knees to rise back up, right? And so I totally agree with that. You got to kinda break that all down and get pushed, and then rise up again, and then maybe fall down again and rise up because your just learning to walk again, right? Well, my favorite thing that I feel that people don't realize in this world, you and I have talked about this, is that the heart muscle is just like any muscle, if we want to grow it strong, we have to be willing to do the exercises of love and expansion, and also the pain of the heartbreak. That's just like the pain of... If you're doing weights every day, you actually rip those muscles in order to grow them, in order to make them stronger and longer, and by using our heart muscle in our life and really putting our hearts into what we do, whether it's a person in a relationship or a job, or our workout. And if something fails, or we get hurt, that's also part of the growth, we actually are sort of wanting to grow in that way, and I know that's a tricky one for some people, like I don't want a heartache, but in a way we do. • I mean, if you go around eating crap food and junk food and foods that aren't very nourishing to your body, then you do gain weight. You become how you feel, you become what you're eating... I say how you feel, because maybe you don't feel that great about yourself, so you're eating things that aren't so great for you. Your choices that you make outwardly reflect how you feel about yourself inwardly. So mind yourself, be careful what you eat. Obviously, we all know that. Why don't we make choices to feel like crap? Because we don't feel good, right? So what do you need to do? You need to work on yourself, you need to start finding ways that you feel good about yourself, find ways that you can love yourself. And the more you love yourself, the more you're going to become aware of taking care of yourself. (03:34) • So we get to choose, you get to choose, I get to choose what we see, because guess what? The power is within you to decide, you can change it all, to have it all. And what I always like to talk about too is that ignorance is not bliss, and knowledge is power. Because whenever you are becoming aware, that's key, that's key to waking up to find that power within. But if you don't decide to become disciplined to discover yourself, then you're just going to stay in the same spot that you are in right now. And if you're in a good spot, that's awesome, but you can always rise higher, right? We're here to just keep a ascending, to keep rising up, keep it coming, our best version. And everything that we go through each day that can ignite us, can shift us, can take us down that path to become that true, wonderful higher person. (06:00) • We were not taught this, we were not taught this in school as children. And now a lot of people are discovering this truth, and I think that's super cool that we're living in this time where people are realizing that we're creating all this stuff, we're creating all this chaos too, because we have chaos within us. And also to push us to wake up, to awaken to the truth. So, the thing is that we can all change everything together, if we would just realize that it all comes from within and that what we imagine creates the images in our actual world that we're in right now together. So if we can imagine what we truly want, know what's in our heart, tap into what's in your true hearts desire, connect to God, connect to source, feel that, know it, believe it, connect those two. Then we are going to project it into our reality together. (09:53) • Let go of that old programming sh*t, because it's just not who you're meant to be. If you're suffering, if you're not living your true purpose, if you're not enjoying the moment, if you're not in the now, if you're not doing any of that stuff and you don't know what you're capable of, please go down the path of self-discovery, Ask and you shall receive, right? Ask for guidance, ask for doors to be open, ask to show you the way. Okay, you will be guided. Believe and let go and ask and receive, and let's change it all to have it all. • I love so many things, I love being in this closet for one thing. So fashion is one of my things, and that's what inspired me to create the Coaching Closet. When I was going through coaching certification because, well, for one thing, I shared an office with my love and he works out of our home too, and I was like, that's not going to work when I'm doing one-on-one coaching with people and get into some pretty serious topics. And they don't want to be talking about that in front of somebody else. Yeah and he just chimes in and says, can I offer you some advise? And there like, who's that? And you say, I don't know, some random dude that's in my office. So I was like, Well, this is my favorite room in the whole house anyway.(3:05)• That's good that you recognize it. I do, it's all about awareness and recognizing there's a problem. Yeah, I had to do that when I had to get readers, accept that my eyes were no longer perfect and I had to get readers and that was really quite... It's still challenging. You accept it, I had to get trifocals. So yeah. It's alright, I got cute ones. As long as you get cute ones and you rock it, you accept that it's going on and you just rock it out the best of your ability, then you're good. Yeah, I can do without, but I obviously see so much better with them. Yeah, definitely, it's like Christmas miracle. (10:22)• Okay, so speaking of shopping, like who's doing Black Friday? There was Black Friday all week, there's today's small business Saturday, and then Monday is Cyber Monday. Well, this is probably going to broadcast later, but that's when we're recording it. I mean people are going crazy with their sales. They are, it's like... They have them all the time now. It was pre-Black Friday all week, and I got some really good deals before Thanksgiving. I was like, Wow, this is amazing, so I got a lot of Christmas shopping done. And if you want something, you can get a really good deals. (22:42)• I was talking about how Victoria is one of those friends I ask for advice, and she doesn't always tell me what I want to hear, she sometimes is like, Wow, what about the other person? Or what about when I ask relationship advice? And so that's a good thing because it helps me self-reflect and see my part and then see that person's perspective, and that's what we all need to do in our relationships. See what is our part, and what I say in coaching is, What's your 3%? And that's really the only way we can change the world, a lot of times recently, I was just talking about this with my family, people like to point the finger and other people, and they're really accusatory, and that just doesn't get us anywhere. We want to change the world, we need to look at ourselves first, like what can we do to help community? To change our world? To change your communities? It starts with this and our little fear of influence and then rippling out, it's a ripple effect, but it has to start with you. • And I know that that can happen because when you don't have the eyes to see the good and the bad, then you will not appreciate it. But honestly, when things happen to us that are not that great, it actually pushes us to become great, right? It pushes us to be our best. I don't know about you, but when somebody comes into my life or an experience comes into my life, I might get like upset or depressed or something like that might happen. But then man, it just ignites me. Like it puts that flame inside of me. And sometimes you need to cry. Sometimes you need to have that emotion from inside of you, to push you. And it just fuels your fire, right? To appreciate that when you have those encounters of people that trigger you or people that push you, that's good. I may not feel that great in the moment, but it's a good thing. It's a really good thing. Especially if you become aware that that's what's happening, that this person came into your life, or this experience came into your life in order for you to see the direction you need to go to get pushed into becoming your best version. (03:47) • You know, I love Rumi and so I'm going to read it to you. It says gratitude is wine for the soul. Go ahead and get drunk. I just think that's kind of cool because I think we should get so drunk that you see the good and everything that comes to you. You know what I mean? Like get so drunk with gratitude. Think about like you're grateful for your home that you have, no matter what it is, you know, be grateful for the car that you drive, be grateful for your job. Be grateful for your family. Be grateful. If you have water to drink, be grateful for all the little things. Be grateful for the air that you breathe. Be grateful for the eyes that you can see with. If you have eyes to see with, if you have ears to hear with, be grateful for that, be grateful for your mind. Be grateful for your thoughts. Be grateful for everything that comes into your life. (04:36) • When you think about it, you're like, why is this person in my life? All they do is cause me chaos, but they're not. They're bringing out the best in you. So be like, what am I learning from this? They're just playing their role. They're playing their role. They're playing their part to push yourself, to get up and do what you came here to do, you know what I mean? And so just appreciate it. I'll be like, man, you're really pushing me. You are pushing me. You are pushing me to rise the up. Right? So my message today is to just be grateful and thankful. And the more that you become grateful and thankful, even though you think your life sucks, or you think that you don't have everything that you should right now in this moment, shift that and you realize that you do have exactly what you need right now. (05:51) • I get to help people in my job. I get to provide for my daughters. I get to be out in the world, having experiences. I get to meet all kinds of people. And you know, for that, I'm grateful. Am I running around all the time with no time? Yes I am. But I'm still thankful for it. I'm thankful because I know that I'm in the place that I'm supposed to be because I followed my bliss. I followed what ignited me, although it's not exactly the most perfect situation. I'm still finding gratitude in it. And I'm still finding joy in my heart for it. And I'm just so full of joy right now. I'm so full for all things that are coming into my life and it doesn't always stay there. But, I feel like I could just explode sometimes because I get so joyful and I get so connected to that power. • And so if you find yourself comparing, wherever it might be, a success that you think that somebody else is having, or body image too, or maybe you view their life as happier. I don't know, only you know that that's a shutout within yourself, and so I just encourage you to love that part about you and to realize that you are beautiful just the way you are. Number three, your intuition will never fail, if you learn to listen. (3:42)• if you don't want to be where you are, then make the decision to not be where you are, you are. The only reason you are is because you desire to be. That is something that I'm dealing with right now. And maybe you are too, but that is the truth, we create our own reality, and it might be based on something from your childhood, something that you were taught and that you don't realize is keeping you from fulfilling what you really want to do, and becoming aware of that is key to be able to break through those upper limits. And like I said, I am really in the trenches of that right now, going back to childhood stuff, realizing that there are some things that are being uncovered there that are playing out still in my reality today, just an old story that I need to re-write and I'm in the process of doing that. So definitely know that you can break free from your old stories too. (5:41)• And sometimes it's not easy to do. It takes discipline and dedication, and it's not going to happen overnight, right? And that's the one thing that I really want to share with you is that sometimes you're going to slip, sometimes you're going to fall back. It's like whenever you're trying to work out or you're on a weight management program, then maybe you slip back a little bit, just try not to beat yourself up so much and realize that it's a process and you're uncovering some stuff here. You're trying to fall in love with all parts of you. Some things are being shown and sometimes it can make you have some emotions come up. And that's okay. You feel all the feels and work through those emotions. (8:22)• We're not here to be lost in fear and negativity, we're just not meant to do that. We're here to have human experiences and to wake up and realize that we do not have to live in fear. I love that saying, that I've seen on an image before, where fear is false evidence appearing real. It is because it's just something that we make up, something that you make up in your head, I make a ban on my head and we just tend to say, what if this, what if that? And it's not even true. And we get so consumed with the fear and the negativity because of the society that we live in, but we truly can turn that around, but we need to know that it's a process, and to be gentle with yourself. So falling in love with yourself is a process, if you're not already there. • What if you actually believed that you could just do it, what if one day you just said Fck it, and you decided to change your story that you tell yourself? What if you decided to go in another direction than everyone else? What if you listened to the inner voice, or saw the signs that opened up your eyes? What if you started dreaming wide awake? What if you stopped comparing yourself to others? What if he started saying nice things to yourself? What if you asked to see truth? What if you started making healthier choices? What if you realize that your life is precious? What if you really knew and believed that you had the power of God within you? What if you took that power back? What if you stopped judging others? What if you practice kindness? What if you decided to shift that sh*t and change your thoughts? (2:17)• I've seen, it's so important for us to really question all these things and to really think about it, we're only here in this moment, now, in this lifetime, what we do does matter, what we think about, does matter. How we treat other people matters. It all creates matter. Our thoughts create our reality, your thoughts create your perception, which then creates your reality. So, if you want to change what you're seeing, change your thoughts, change your words, we were created by the word after all, so it's pretty powerful what you actually verbalize into the universe, into the world out here that we live in. (4:55)• And so I wrote this other part that says with imagination, I'll get there. Our imagination is crucial to our creation, the images that you have in your imagination will appear in your reality. So what if you don't imagine anything? What if you imagine everything? It's time to wake up. Wake up and start asking to receive and see, humanity needs you. (5:52)• Just do it. Just wake up and realize that you are the magic pill, you are the one. We all are, we're all collectively the ones, it's time for us to come together and to unite and to put an end to some of this insanity and chaos that is an our world right now. Anyway, that's my message for you today. To just say, what if, and to ask those questions, and to go within and to find that true power and take it back. • We have the answers within ourselves, but we tend to look outward for those answers, and we seek advice from so many other people. But what we don't realize is that the people we seek advice are on a different journey, while it's okay to talk about things with other people. It's also best to probably sit with yourself and to ask yourself those questions and to see what comes to your mind or what plays out in your reality, what synchronicity happens. Or the things that you start to observe because you asked to see certain things or you are seeking something, then you find it, right? (1:43)• And I've kinda touched on this before, but it's really been weighing on my heart lately to talk about it a little bit more in depth, because it's like we ask other people for this particular advice, but then they give us advice, but it's based on what their reality is right? So even though we are in this world together, we're not in the same reality, and we don't have the same perception because we each have our own upbringing, we each have our own things that we were taught that are true or not true for ourselves, but it is what we were taught. The key is really to listen to yourself, to follow your own guidance and your own intuition, and I'm not saying not ask people stuff, but just do know that it isn't necessarily going to be the best advice. Because they're telling you based on what they would do. (2:33)• Are you trying to create that in your reality based on that you think that you're supposed to do this? Because other people are doing this, because society thinks you should do it? Or, are you doing this because you want to? You know what I mean? Because you desire to… So that's the questions I have to ask myself. Whenever I'm making decisions, it's like, Okay, how do you feel about that inside… Does it ignite you? Does it bring peace to you or am I pushing it? Am I trying to make this happen based on somebody else's beliefs, based on somebody else's journey, based on what I've been taught, so that's where you really have to know thyself, right, because when you know thy self, then you can feel and be able to be in tune with what's right for your personal path, and it's just been really such a cool experience to finally see that for myself and to be like, It's okay if you don't do a certain thing that other people think you should do. (5:29)• And if you don't know what that is, that's where you have to start spending time with yourself, because if you're always following the leader, you're always following the guidance of other people, then maybe you're living in their shadows and you're not truly seeing who you are. So, you gotta take that step to find out who you are, right? If you don't know... I didn't use to know that, I'm slowly still discovering that because I've always kinda lived in the shadows of other people, and I don't regret it, it's fine, it's just part of my process of this life and part of my experience, and now I'm just kind of realizing that I'm just kind of discovering who I am and what ignites and just lights me up. I'm starting to take different risks to do different things that I didn't know I would even be doing. • Everybody has their own own way that they're going to go through what they need to go through in order to find their way back to themselves. You just have to let it play out and be supportive and not so judgmental and not projecting what you think they should do because of your perception and what you would choose to do because you might not need what that person needs. In whatever particular situation they're in, whether it be a relationship or a job or anything, you just might not... You might not need that, but they do, to jot them, to wake them up to who they truly are or to see the shadow within themselves. (4:14)• I didn't understand all the projections and what people say and the triggers and how that's a shadow within me and how relationships help us see the things that we need to see about ourselves as individuals. And it's there for that purpose, to help us grow and sometimes push us, and honestly, this particular relationship was like the final piece that I needed to really help me to go within and find that power and belief and love for myself. I had already gotten to that level of where I love myself and I had confidence and I felt really good, but there was just that one little piece left, (7:04)• I've learned what I need to learn, I'm okay, I can break free now, I can walk away and I'm okay, and he'll be okay, he will finish out his path, his journey, exactly how he needs to. We came in to one another's lives to show us what we needed to see. You either see it and integrate it and move on to the next level, or you break free from that moment or that relationship, and you repeat it again, until you get judged again to try to go within, to see it again, and you keep doing it over and over until you finally, like me in this particular situation, because it's not my first toxic relationship. (10:19)• My message today is just how I dated an alcoholic, or why that happened. I have zero regrets about it, I am thankful and grateful that I went through that experience and I care about this person because he played his part in my life, and he showed me what I needed to see in order to rise up and become more whole and to love myself even more, To realize who I truly am, so for that I'm grateful and it allowed me to attract the new person in my life that is on the frequency that I'm on now. If you're in an abusive relationship or a toxic relationship, know that you don't have to stay there, that you can learn what you need to learn and then break free when it's the right time, but just trust the process and realize that you brought that into your life and that you can also release yourself from it. • And I didn't even really understand what I was feeling. I just was like, Okay, I can no longer go to seminary because I'm really confused at the time. I have no idea what I just learned or why, and I have no idea what to think anymore, I just kind of checked out. To be quite honest, I was just like, Okay, I'm done. There were some things going on in my life too, I just became pregnant with my first child Grace, and I just stopped going to seminary and I honestly stopped going to church, I stopped doing a lot of things, and just kind of went in a different path, and then I found my way back. (4:02)• Many things that are not necessarily true, about who we really are, about who you really are. It's time for a lot of us, and maybe it's your time, maybe it's not. I do really believe that we're all on this, our own paths. We're all doing this together. But we are on our own journey, our own path, our own time, I can't force you to wake up, to awaken to your truth, I can only tell you my story, and the fact that, I know there is a lot more out there than what I've even discovered. I can only see what my level of awareness is, and the deeper I go, the more I go within, the more I go on that journey, the more I listen to my intuition, the more I'm guided, the more I ask to be shown, the more I ask to have eyes to see and ears to hear, then the more that I will. The more synchronicities that will happen, the more things that will just appear, that we're always there. (6:20)• It's my hope that if you're seeking for your purpose or for what this reality is about or what your soul is about or what your mission is, or any of that stuff, then you're being called to start going on that journey, you're being called to maybe unlearn some of the stuff that you've been taught because your identity was given to you. Between zero and seven years old, you're shaped, and your inner self is who you are, you aren't that identity necessarily you don't have to stay there at all, you can go in a completely different direction, change your entire identity. The way that you do that is by going within and meditating, praying, asking to be shown things. But if you just keep saying, Well, that's just the way I was raised. Well, that's just who I am. Well, that's just... Nothing will ever change on this on that, then you will stay there, you will be on this or that, that identity will always be your identity. (7:50)• It is so imperative for all of us, and humanity, that we find our way back to ourselves, to the kingdom of God within us, so that we can change this reality collectively together. And Billy and I kind of touched on that. We didn't get to go totally deep into it, so I highly encourage you to go start looking at his stuff. Go start looking at whatever you're being guided to, because it's going to take you on that path of discovering your truth and it's going to ultimately help change the reality for all of humanity and that's what we need. That's what we need to happen. Because as you know, it's getting a little crazy out there in the world. But you gotta collapse old systems and old programming realities, you gotta do all that in order to create the new... And that's what we're here to do. • We have to really re-learn to find it. First of all, who we truly really are, it's not what they've given you and told you who you are, it's who you discover that you are, and it's important for us to do the research, for us to each take our own individual trip, their own journey to inner space, and that's going to come through a research investigation study. Everybody's got special gifts and talents and even passions in this journey that others don't have. (2:00)• I had an epiphany at age 7, I said, Wow, there's nobody coming to save me, I'm going to have to save myself, that was my exact thought. I realized from that moment forward that anything that I wanted to do, anything I need to achieve, it was going to take action and energy on my part. I was going to be the one to put the energy exchange into the system to get the result that I wanted, and if I didn't do that, I would be stuck in the system or the place where I was. I couldn't afford to complain about it because I left myself there. (7:42)• The Bible was supposedly written by different people in different books, but I really wanted to find out, was this written in real time or was just put together much later? I found it much later, that it was written between 180 to 900 AD, and it was written by the phoenicians, followers of Hermes. They were just collecting wherever tidbits of scriptures and in the scrolls and papyrus that they came across that were collectively putting this stuff together into this book. Much later, the Council of Nicea came across it and they orchestrated it into this, what they call a canonized Bible, where they took things out and move things and changed words and phrases around by accident and on-purpose, and mis-translated some words, that were very important by the way, and kind of cultivated it into their own control system book. (9:25)• I've been through ups and downs, highs and lows, I had a lot of money and lost at all too, I've done everything. So all those things are there for us to become better teachers, so we can actually relate to everybody on every single level. There's not one person out there, I could talk to the highest level of quatum physics, and the way I can talk to Mishio Kaku, have a conversation with him for hours, and I can go talk to somebody that's living in a low class income neighborhood on Section 8, and I can sit there and have a great conversation with them for many, many hours. I can talk to a homeless person, I can talk to a middle class person, a wealthy person, it doesn't matter who it is, on every level, I can contribute and I can be on their level, sincerely, not fake, but sincerely, because I've experienced everything from depression to highs and lows, being married, being divorced, having kids, I've done it all. (14:50)• I don't chase money, I chase my passions, and because I chase my passions, abundance is the side effect. I want people to understand that spirituality and manifesting your financial abundance goes hand in hand, and that anyone can do it. Whatever abundances is for you, There's a different levels of abundance for everyone, Everybody's got a different meaning of abundance in their brain, some people it's having billions of dollars, but those people do a lot in the world, and for some people, just having all their bills pay without having to stress and worry. It's about relieving our stress and finances. For me, it's not about chasing money, it's about buying my freedom, (19:51)ABOUT BILLY:Billy Carson is the founder and CEO of 4BiddenKnowledge Inc, and the Best Selling Author of The Compendium Of The Emerald Tablets and Woke Doesn't Mean Broke.Mr. Carson is also the founder and CEO of 4BiddenKnowledge TV, a new conscious streaming TV network, and is an expert host on Deep Space, a new original streaming series by Gaia. • And I knew even as a kid, airplanes would take a long time across the horizon. So I started investigating and researching aerospace the next day and went to my elementary school, Rambo Park, took on all the Encyclopedia Botanica's on Interspace, and I literally started that day researching into aerospace and technology. So technology and aerospace came long before the ancient civilization stuff, and then from there, because we were so poor, where I grew up in Miami, I had sold all of my toys dooor to door, just so I can have a couple of dollars in my hands, and I told my mom, don't buy me any more toys, just get me books. (8:39)• I kept researching aerospace technology, and eventually I started realizing correlation between aerospace and advanced tech, or what we call advanced tech, and what appeared to be ancient construction sites were on the planet. The more I dug into it, I started realizing and getting into ancient tablets and realizing that these people were more advanced than us at one point. They were talking about some of the same things we're using today, they had back then, so I realized that we are just another cycle of civilization trying to build back up again. (11:39)• Downloads are real, as you know, and we all get information from the ether that comes directly into our bodies, and DNA receives information on a Wi-Fi, that's real science, peer-reviewed science. We receive and send information directly from the DNA into space time and back down again, and every thought that exists and ever was thought, exists in spacetime all around us. It permeates the entire energy grid because distance is an illusion, you can download all the years it took me to get this knowledge, you can download that in one minute directly into your body. So the time that you start versus the time I started, we can all be on the same playing field, because consciousness doesn't see time, It doesn't see past president, future, it's all at once, and because the Akashic Records are real, because every thought exist in space time, because it leaves the skull goes out into the ether with the data on it, which was the thoughts, you can grab all those thoughts and bringing it into your body. (19:57)• They're looking externally for everything, we've been taught and everything is on the outside, and so we look externally, we even want to blame outside exterior things. One of the biggest downfalls of religion is that it gives you this exterior entity to blame all your wrong doings on, so you blame everything on Satan, the devil, and then you go, Well, I can get away with this because all I have to do is just repent now I'm going to be forgiven anyway. And so again, that's more exterior of gratification or what ever you want to call it. And so we're programmed to keep searching outside and requiring outside to take care of instead of taking responsibility for our own thoughts and our own actions. (22:11)• The chaos really is, people are full of trauma, and we're so full of the trauma and it fills up inside the body, just like you're filling up a glass of water, and when the water gets to the top of the rim of the glass, if you keep putting more water, what happens is, it spills over. The trauma in chaos in our body, it works the same way, so as we have this trauma, as we have all this chaos in our bodies, it begins to fill up, and when it gets to the top, it spills over into our exterior reality. • I was just kind of lying to my bed, thinking about things, and I don't know if you ever get like this... I don't know, lately it's just I know I've discovered a lot of truths that I didn't know before. And it's made me really blissful and happy and free. But then there's also this process of... Have you heard of the Death to Ego kind of thing, and your inner child? I've been working with my inner child type stuff, and honestly I talked about this before, I didn't really realize that a lot of the trauma that I went through as a child affects me now. (1:24)• There's so many messages in the movies like Interstellar, The Matrix, I even watch Jupiter ascending. There's a lot of messages in that, I could go on and on with the movies, and it's fascinating to me. I love going back and watching them with the eyes that I have now... I just felt like talking to you for a minute about just having that pain body in the house sometimes when we rise up and we go through an up-leveling that we're going to experience this and we're also going to experience things coming into our reality. (4:40)• If someone is making you jealous or someone's making you angry, are someone's making you... Whatever, if you're getting an emotional trigger from it, then there's something going on with you. And if you're projecting on to those people, then it's about you and that's when you need to stop and say, Hey, why am I doing this? What's it about? And if we could all understand that relationships are about that, we call in what we need. I'm thankful for what happened because now it's making me really get down on my knees again and go within and get my power back. (9:02)• Maybe I can help you take that first step to start that journey, to go within, to go look at some of your inner child stuff, you may not even know what that is, go research it. If you feel called or led to do that, if it's your time, it may not be your time. I always say there's different actors or different roles in movies, there's even just extras, it's like we all have our time here, we're all here on earth together serving our purpose, and if it's meant for you to hear or to see something that's off, then you'll hear it at the time that you're supposed to hear it. If we could all understand that everybody's on their own path, we're just here to serve and to love one another and to learn from one another, the world would be such a better place if we could all just realize that we're all in this together. • I went to the Baptist church with my friends, because my closer friends went to the Baptist church, so that's where I ended up going because I wanted to hang out. And honestly, I was kind of in love with one of the coaches, Coach Roger's, which is kind of funny, but I was really obsessed with him. (1:60)• So quickly in my mind and just the reality that I had just changed, it changed what it felt like in an instant, but it really wasn't. It was because I had been doing so much seeking and so much... just like different bottle studies or volunteering. I was doing a lot of different things in the spiritual world, and so it kind of just felt like it happened at once, but it was through my daily activity. (2:59)• I even actually started looking at Buddhism at one point. I started looking at a book called beginner's book of Buddhism, and it was very interesting to me. I was like, Oh my gosh, I want to be a Buddha, because it was very cool. And I always thought I was going to go to hell if I looked at anything about the Buddha, because I thought... Honestly, I thought Buddhism was, I bow down to the Buddha and then I thought I would go to hell. (6:27)• I discovered something else, it's like you keep discovering new things, the more that you ask to see... I always say, have eyes to see and ears to hear, and when you do that, your level of awareness increases. Some of the things that you may have looked at in the past, if you look at today, you've changed, your eyes have changed, your ears of changed, you can hear different things, and so based on what you become aware of. I just think that's so cool, because now I look at stuff and I'm like, Oh my gosh, that is so amazing, and I didn't even see that before, but I see it now. • I used to look at people and think, Why do they wear those clothes, why do they show on their butt, or why are they showing their breasts or, why are they doing that? But you know what, I did that because I was projecting, because I felt insecure about my body, my body image. (2:20)• I was feeling insecure when I saw people wearing clothing like that, and so that was just me projecting my insecurities, as a shadow within myself, that I've now learned about and I have been working on loving all parts of me and loving myself exactly as I am, and if I want a different body image, I create that. (2:37)• The next time you're out and you question why somebody is wearing a certain outfit, or why they have their hair purple, or why they have a nose piercing, or have... I'm trying to think, why they do whatever they do, then you're judging them. (3:42)• We're all here having a human experiences, we're all just embracing ourselves, trying to find ourselves, and I think it would be way more fun if we would just stop freaking judging one another. • Okay, and at that point, it was literally just a couple of spots again, the armpit and on my hands, and we're about to move. And so I was like, Yeah, sure, okay, whatever. And I'm not like a medicine person, I don't even like taking ibuprofen, so putting groups and creams on my skin. (2:37)• They can get it at 60, and it can start with one spot and it never moves and it stays the same for years before it rapidly spreads and it's crazy. It's Vitiligo Awareness Month, and I've been going back through photos and it's crazy to see photos of myself, even like six years ago, even from last year, my patterns have changed so much even in a year. And then I think is what's interesting is then the part with no pigment, then we'll start getting pigment in it, I feel like when I get the Sun, which is interesting. (5:44)• I like that because one thing you said about the reason why you wrote the book is to bring awareness, especially even for kids. Because when I was a child, there wasn't anything like that, so I thought there's something really wrong with me, and so it definitely may be even more insecure. But now that you have such a cute Book out there to explain it, even children that don't have it, parents buying that book to allow them to be able to bring awareness to their child. (9:01)• No matter what your journey is, no matter what you've created in your reality that it's there for a reason. Once you can step outside of thinking it's so wrong and step outside of that and realize, it's actually so right. And it's exactly what you needed to do. Write a book or whatever it is that you are called to do. What you are inspired to do? • When you just have that passion and that excitement, that bliss, and you're just running towards that goal and you're just like, I'm doing this, and you just totally believe in yourself, then you can see yourself doing it. (3:32)• You bring yourself back down to what your subconscious belief is, and it's really fascinating to me to learn that and once you become aware of it, then you can unlearn that you can re-train your subconscious brain, and that is cool because then you can now consciously start to consciously seek that into your life. (4:13)• Let's say you have a dream in your heart, you had this excitement or a desire to do it, and then all of a sudden your heart and then your mind is like, No, you can't do that. You're not capable of doing that. That's not true. That's when you don't let your mind out beat your heart, and that's when you bring them together because you need to realize that whatever that excitement was, there's a reason you got excited about that. (6:53)• So what you want to do is, you want to take that belief and you've listened, and you know what it is that you want, then you imagine it, you visualize it, you see it play out in your mind, and then you want to connect your mind and your heart, connect by visualizing, you have the heart, the feeling, the belief that you can do it, so you connect it. • I used to look at my skin and just be like, Why can't I just be normal? Can I just have normal skin where I could just wear shorts and not have to wear spray tan all the time and cover it up, I never felt comfortable. (4:07)• So the day she left me, it left me, the vitiligo, the stress and the anxiety and the hatred and the discussed and the sadness, it just left. And from that moment on, I've just embraced it and thankful for it now because I can help other people realize that sometimes we get lost in our minds and we think that something are so terrible and it's really not. (5:34)• Many things that we compare and look at in our society has an image that we all tend to think the way that we be, but it's not necessarily the truth, each of us is the truth. And so that's what I'm here to share with you, if you're having some issues or you think that there's something wrong with you, just know that there's so much more right with you. (9:02)• Guard your mind, focus on what you want, try to love all parts of you and embrace what you can't change. Enhance what you can, and just really try to take those steps daily to live a happier, more joyful life by loving yourself. And then what's going to happen is when you start doing that, then you're going to start taking more steps in the direction of more confidence. • I guess to be shown signs or messages or however you hear your intuition, God universe, whatever you might want to call it. However you receive that. Then you can ask for more guidance, and one way that I've found that I get more guidance is just by having meditation or prayer and asking for help. (4:42)• Actually, what that's about is following your illuminated path, your guidance, your bliss, what makes you happy, what you're feeling at peace about. It's going in that direction, and then realizing that you don't really need outside things, you don't need necessarily outside advice to make big decisions. (7:13)• So, I just flat out ask. I want a divine direct message on what I should do. And then I went to a party the next day at my friend's house, and she just looked at at me, and it was like a few hours into the party, we were in the pool, and then she looked at me, and she was like, Victoria, I had a dream about you last night. And I was like, Oh, you did. And she's like, Yeah. I had a dream that you had your book called You are the magic pill, and you were doing a podcast. (8:47)• That was like the ego or my old story popping into my mind, taking control of me, and I was just like, I can't do it, I can't. And I just started crying, I was crying so hard, like ugly cry, you wouldn't even believe it. I just kept crying, I don't know how to explain to you, I don't know if you've ever felt like that, but it was just like my whole body was just overtaken by fear and just lack of belief for myself. (10:30)• I had to let go and just let the inspiration flow through me and let the message come through me, and so that's what I did, and I ended up recording 10 episodes and one night I stayed up like all night. So I'm just here to tell you, if you are on a journey and you feel like your path really isn't illuminated, you feel like you don't know what direction you want to go in, just be still and listen and take control of your thoughts and listen to your heart, and tap within to that power within you. IN THIS EPISODE:• Life can be like a roller coaster ride, we go up and down and experience all kinds of emotions. If we could just let go more, then we would experience the moment and realize that everything is going to be okay. (2:18)• I think that most struggle because it's part of our experience, we grow up, we get taught things, and then we don't really realize who we are. We're not taught who we are, we're taught who to be, we're not taught to think for ourselves, and so we lose that connection within ourselves. (3:36)• I've had complete joy. But then also, each time I up-level or each time I go through an inner healing from some of my childhood stuff, it brings those shadows out, and so I have to love all parts of me. I then have to go through that process, and I have to pull myself back out and reconnect. (4:52)• Remember to look around and have compassion for those that right now are not okay. I think if we could all do that, then our world would be such a more beautiful place. IN THIS EPISODE:• I thought by having sex basically, that that would bring me love, and in all honesty, every time that I did have sex, it was me thinking that I was going to be with this person and that we were going to be in love, and that if I did this, then that would create that love, and as you probably know how the story goes... (2:07)• I know that when I experience those relationships are those moments of intimacy, and then it just leaves you with still that void and you don't get anything out of it and accept disappointment and more void. I guess at the time to regret and guilt and shame, all those terrible things that we tell ourselves associated with sex. (3:33)• I'm here to tell you, is that we each have our own journeys and just because your journey is not the same as my journey, or the same as somebody else's, doesn't mean that it's a wrong journey, it means it's the right journey for you. (5:33)• I'm just speaking from my experience that I used to think those thoughts about myself, and I no longer do that because I know that it's made me the person I am today, and I'm really looking forward to actually experiencing that now that I love myself. IN THIS EPISODE:• Why do I always get triggered when someone says something to me? Because when someone says something to you, it's not about you at all. It's about them. (3:15)• Someone said something to me about me being too thin, and called me a name actually too. And this person wasn't intending on making me upset or triggering me or anything like that. And honestly, when this person said it to me, I didn't get super triggered. But I did get like, Oh wait. Why are you saying that to me? And then I had to step back and realize it's about that person and not me. (4:55)• I think that if we just would truly let people live their lives authentically, or just allow people to live their lives and they would actually be able to be authentic, I think that we're taught so much bullsh*t lies about what we should be and how we should think how I should dress, how we should just be 247, what kind of job we should have, what kind of house we should have, or we should have this amount of money, and you should never do this. (9:34)• We're human, right? I'm just becoming more aware of it, so I'm calming down, and I'm looking at myself more and realizing that I just need to let people be themselves instead of maybe giving unsolicited advice, if somebody asks for my advice that I'm going to base it on what I know about them, and ask them. What do you have a piece about? Where do you see your life? What it brings you joy, what brings you happiness? And what do you want in your life? IN THIS EPISODE:• So a lot of people think you can't love someone and let them go, but the truth is, with our divorce rate, obviously that's not the case, and relationships do end. It's not because of a lack of love, many times it's because of the toxicity of the relationship and is it healthy anymore? Many times it's just people realize that it's not good for them to stay and they have to give it up for them to love themselves the most and for them to be healthy. (1:28)• Many times, if you could get to a point in your life where you just don't feel like you even know who you are, because you've become an extension of this other person. Like, who is Richele? I got to a point where I was like, What do I even like? Because I don't know, I'm just an extension of this person, I'm his wife is... I'm their mom. What do I like? I don't know, I'm just an extension or I'm only allowed? That's a really key word there, I'm only allowed to do these certain things. (4:17)• That's where you get into power and control, where one person holds all the power and the other person, it's like you're dimming yourself down, you're giving your power away, you're not speaking up for yourself, and you're living in fear, and you're walking on egg shells and you're just like, Okay, you're just really doing anything you can to avoid triggering that person into anger or rage, and that's a huge red flag that you are in a very toxic situation. That's when it's like the relationship going way down. (6:39)• Until I started getting sick, I really just didn't want to leave. But yeah, it does happen. So if you're in that position and you're like, What's wrong with me? Why am I sick? And your relationship isn't good, you might want to consider that it's your stress level, it's the relationship, so that needs to be a red flag as well. (13:26)• Yeah, I'm at a level of self-love that I never had before, and I just love teaching people that. That's where you have to start, and it just brings tears to my eyes, it really does. It's an honor to help people. It really is. To absolutely love it. It's just my passion. (18:19) ABOUT RICHELE BATT:Richele is a coach, YouTube TV host and soon to be podcaster. IN THIS EPISODE:• And that's basically saying that there are meridian systems running through our bodies which are energetic highways, so with acupuncture and acupressure, you're working on the endpoints of the meridian system to balance your energy and to create flow in your body, and it helps and heals. (4:10)• When you do tap, typically what you do is before you start, you kinda rate yourself on a scale of one to 10 to say the stress that you're feeling. You're feeling a little stress, maybe something that's going on at work, so you're going to rate your stress on the scale of one to 10, like, Oh, I feel like I'm not a nine right now, you're going to do a round of tapping, and at the end of it, you're going to rate yourself again, and that's the real quick way to see if you went down a number. (6:18)• You don't even have to know anything about it, to be honest. You could literally just learn the Nine Point, super easy to learn. Like I said, I have a YouTube channel you could even see this on, there's an intro to tapping video on there. My YouTube channel is Jillian Laudano. But you don't even need to know the back story. You don't need to know the history. All you need to do is tap on the points, it's so easy and instant, whether you realize it or not, your body starts to calm down. (8:38)• But when you start to become aware, you start to discover that, Hey, I'm feeling this way, but I can control it, I can go within, and I can utilize tools like this to help bring me back to that connection and to calm me down. Because the world we live in this moment, sometimes we do have a lot of chaos or anxiety or stress coming up and even from childhood trauma and things like that, that we haven't really uncovered or revealed or hasn't been shown to us just yet, but we're having that happen subconsciously, we're still having those feelings. (15:47)• I invite everybody listening, if you want to really feel good, try out one of those types of tapping videos on a positive taper, just so motivating and inspiring, and you just feel like you could feel your whole energy shift instantly. And that's why it's so important for people to know. Because it's like sometimes you get stuck in this place. Or even like you just don't even realize that you can shift everything, you can change it all. IN THIS EPISODE:• As a child, I just felt always, I don't know, that I didn't belong, and that I just never felt like a part of the group, and that one made me sad. And so I had some sadness and anger, and even when you look at some of my family pictures, I have this look on my face of just sadness. (2:46)• I just wanted toshare that with you because it's been on my heart. And I know it's kind of serious, but the world we live in today, there's a lot of fear, a lot of anxiety, a lot of just hopelessness, and I just want you to know that a lot of us feel that way. And a lot of that can be dealt with. If you go back and you look at maybe what your story is. (4:59)• That yearning feeling. So the best way to fix that is to meditate and pray and to go within and tap into that power within us and search your own heart and come back and get connected. And then, where you can bring back that joy, that's where you can bring back that oneness, wholeness, and feel inspired. (6:11)• What's going on? Be in that moment, get inspired, and then go back with in and reconnect, and then keep doing that. So the more that we can just become aware, it's just all about awareness and realizing that we're just here to have these wonderful human experiences that are filled with all kinds of emotions. But eventually, I do believe that we can have more of a balance. IN THIS EPISODE:• I would like to think that I've changed a lot since my divorce, and I think that, and I speak to that, not only through the Divorce Over 40 community, but also on my personal Instagram, about what I believe is a need for all of us to really self-reflect as well as kinda go through this self-discovery, or this rediscovery process, as we kinda call it. (2:47)• It's really helped in navigating someone through their divorce journey, whether they're in the middle of it or they're coming out of it from a healing standpoint, and I think that a lot of us is when we get divorced, we feel like we're on an island, and the circumstances that we're experiencing are unlike any others. And some of them are very toxic and painful, and sometimes some kind of breeze through it, but nonetheless, when you hear stories of other people that have gone through the same situations as you did, it's kind of like an aha moment where it's very therapeutic for people. (6:08)• And so what I've tried to do is, at least, I pass along whatever wisdom I can when it comes to data on how to approach it and make it something that's a little bit more positive and fulfilling than just all the negative stuff that you keep hearing about, and how people get easily triggered by behaviors of people that they're talking to. (8:46)• Even though you're more open to having a day just to get to meet someone, I think you still, at the same time, tighten your filter a bit to say, I'm protective of my time, and if someone isn't aligned with me, I don't want to waste my time on that person. And so I think there's a lot of benefits from taking that stance and dating. (13:25)• Here are the four or five things that are absolutely non-negotiables, it could be religious, what your faith is, and whether or not that aligns to someone. It could be stage of life. As an example, when I first started dating after divorce, I was dating a lot of younger women, and many of which had never had kids, and I learned pretty quickly, I don't want kid. My youngest graduates in a year from high school, and I don't want to raise kids for another 20 years. and so that became a non-negotiable for me for in that I don't need to be dating women that are looking to have kids. IN THIS EPISODE:• And you know the thing is, I would say with scars, there's all different types, and there's emotional scars that we've been through, there's physical scars that everybody can see, which maybe is easier for me because they see it. Emotional scars people can't see and they don't understand the pain, you've been through. A physical scar, you wear around and they see, Well, she survived something. (5:19)• When I stood in front of a mirror, a long story short, and I was like, guess what? This is me in a bathing suit, I'm pale, I don't have any make-up on. When I get really pale, my scars turn purple on my legs, and my father said he'd never even really seen it, I'd been covering it my whole life. He told me that last night, he said, I didn't really notice that, you're really good at it, you're really good at hiding it. (8:09)• When you focus on what you think is so wrong with yourself, then you lose what's so right. And I just believe that whole-heartedly. Because for myself, I lost a lot of joy, I lost a lot of fun times because I didn't want to wear shorts, I didn't wanna go to the lake, I didn't want to go out in the sun. It's like I limited myself and I didn't enjoy my life. (11:25)• I dated several guys and I was always looking. I thought my purpose was to find my perfect match. I was looking everywhere and I wanted children, blah, blah, and it occurred to me I have to be able to bring into the situation what I'm asking from a situation. That was the first thing that occurred to me. Secondly, what occurred to me was I had to love myself. It was not until I loved myself. I looked at myself in the mirror and I was like, You know, you're good looking for these reasons, because you're a good person, because you're good, you don't have to be a beauty queen or Miss Arkansas. But when I started loving myself, I actually volunteered for Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Eliza is my little sis, and seeing her world and seeing what she goes through, and then comparing it and realizing how lucky I was and realizing the capacity I had to do things for others and to stand up for them and not be ashamed and just truly focusing on myself, then it came to me. I met my husband. (17:23)• People want to see your weaknesses, you think that people want to look at you on Facebook and Instagram and all those things and say, Oh my God, our life is perfect, and blah blah. That's not how people connect, that's not how people love you. They love you when you're honest and you're like, I'm hurting, or this happened to me, and you can relate on that level. And that is a true friendship, that is something that lasts forever. IN THIS EPISODE:• Why did I choose to say that to myself? That seriously is jacked up. And I'm just saying, please don't do that, don't do that to yourself and rob yourself joy like I did. If you do have that negative self-talk and aren't truly in love with yourself, then make a decision like I did, to say enough is enough. (2:54)• Tell ourselves every day, the same story over and over, until it gets to the point that it becomes a habit. And habits are hard to break, but not impossible. The strength to cut yourself loose is found within yourself. Stop looking for someone to help you rise up, nothing will truly save you, accept you. (4:15)• It was overnight, all of a sudden it was like I saw myself, I became aware of who I truly am, and all of the negativity just faded away. It was no longer a habit because I broke that habit, I decided to take daily action. (5:25)• Try to pull yourself up, try to look at the good, try to find the good, try to see your good, and eventually, if you do that long enough, it's going to shift. Your perception is going to shift what you're seeing, you're no longer going to see that negativity, you're going to see the positive things about you, and it's going to be such a beautiful experience. IN THIS EPISODE:• Basically, I got married at 19 because I didn't know who I was. I didn't believe in myself. I bought into the fact that I would never make it out of my own. That I would never be anything. And that this is what I should do. (3:00)• We have these experiences that happen in our lives, and then when we make those choices and we have things happen, then that allows us to have that contrast and then we're like, Okay, I'm not going to to do that again, I learned what I needed to learn. (4:48)• If you just kinda let other people guide you, let other people determine your future, take a pause and think about that and really feel what's going on in your body, and if it feels right, that's great. But if it doesn't feel right, and you feel like you've been inserted into somebody else's life or into a job, or into whatever it is you're doing, that you feel like that it doesn't feel like you belong, or it doesn't feel like what was meant for you. Then take a pause and think about it. (7:39)• So we all need to just go within, you need to search within your own heart and go that path, go that narrow path, and that is where you find your bliss, that's what you'll find your happiness. IN THIS EPISODE:• And I have this question, I've often thought about this and was really funny as I wrote this four years ago when I was still married, and I understand that more today than I did back then, I wrote, does it mean until someone actually dies, or could it mean if you feel the life sucked out of you, like you are dead, and I think that that's what it means. (3:34)• I just knew I had to get married and then one day, start a family. I had no idea what that really meant. I do know now. And so I think when you're on this journey, make sure to listen to that inner voice, if you notice red flags, pay attention, pay attention to those red flags, if you feel it's the right direction to go, then go for it because it's part of your journey. (5:51)• It's going to work out in the end. All things work out the way that they should. And if you go along your life and you realize that you know that everything is going to work out exactly as it should in your life, then you can have a greater piece and happiness. (6:33)• And when you become aware of that and you see that all things are not about just having that relationship in your life forever, then you realize that you're just learning from that person, and then you can see all those things and go through that process of becoming whole yourself. And that's another episode to get into more of that process. But just to introduce that to you, that that's what we're here to do, is to become whole and to come to love ourselves so we can reflect that back into the world and change our reality together. IN THIS EPISODE:• It was a magical date, and I thought, Wow, this guy is so funny, I really like him, and then we were supposed to get together later that night, but conveniently, something came up... Okay, right away. My body was like, Girl, something's off. (3:00)• Have you had red flags before? Do you listen to your body? Do you listen to your intuition? Do you listen to AKA, also known as your soul speaking to you? Do you actually listen or do you just disregard it? (3:47)• I'm thankful for it because it pushed me to really realize and to always know that I am speaking to myself, I'm trying to warn myself and to be aware of that and to listen to my inner voice, and to act on it and to not be such a nice person, and to really stand up for my worth, stand up for what I want. (5:29)• I don't think any of it was a mistake. I have no regrets, I don't know about You, but I've had friends that say, Oh, you move too fast. Or, you did this, or you did that wrong. I'm like, No, I didn't. I did exactly what I needed to do, I followed my heart. I didn't listen to my intuition, but you know what, I wasn't supposed to at the time. (7:05)• If you're with someone that doesn't really do it for you, or you feel like your life is being sucked out of you, then move on, get off of that train ride and move on and have another experience and see where that one takes you. (5:15)• Look at others and see, Wow, that person's awesome. Look at what they're doing, if it triggers you, then maybe you see yourself doing that too, maybe you desire to be doing something like that, then go down that path and explore it.
