Deb shares insight on forgiveness, grief, social justice, gratitude and saying YES. She reminds us that what the world needs most is for us to be awake. Rev. Deborah is the founding minister and president of Inner Light Ministries and The Motivational Institute. A life-long social justice activist, Rev. Deborah is the successful co-litigant in two landmark cases in California – one set precedent for the inclusion of sexual orientation in the state's Civil Rights Bill, the other defeated the challenge to legalizing domestic partnerships. A voice for compassion, equality, and reconciliation, her primary focus has been on coalition building, conflict resolution, public policy development, and cultural sensitivity awareness. She holds a vision of Oneness, beyond creed and doctrine, and feels particularly called to heal the sense of separation between those adhering to conservative and progressive ideologies. Rev Leon Campbell has been the Director of the Agape Youth and Family Ministry at Agape International Spiritual Center since November 2004. Agape has one the largest spiritual youth communities in the country. The ministry services over 1,000 children per month. He has developed a comprehensive youth curriculum featuring original programming encompassing self-expression, creativity, spiritual practice, sacred rituals and service projects for youth of all ages. Rev Leon recently served as the Youth Program Director for the Mind valley University four week summer program in Pula Croatia. He established Agape's first week-long eCamp. This one-of-a-kind Summer Youth Camp and Festival, located at Cedar Lake Camp in Big Bear, California, Rev. Leon established the Agape Youth and Family Artist in Residence program, a six to eight week workshop in which professional artists from the Los Angeles area offer instruction in a variety of creative modalities, culminating in a performance or exhibition. His work with youth education continues as the Co-Executive Director of the Agape CDF Freedom School, a summer literacy program that partners with the well-respected Children's Defense Fund to engender a love of reading and healthy lifestyle habits in the children of our Los Angeles community. He co-partnered with CosmiKids, Inc. to establish national conferences on transformational parenting and teaching, recruiting leading edge speakers and facilitators on various subjects such as learning styles, educational innovations, autism and enlightened communication. Rev. Leon is the Director of the Inspired Authentic Men's Ministry. Dr. Campbell received an honorary doctorate degree from the Agape University in honor of his years of service as a leader, spiritual practitioner and educator, as well as a member of one of the first classes of Agape ordained Rev. Evelyn Thompson-Hilbert graduated from University of Southern California (USC) with a BS in Public Policy and Development. She received her Professional Spiritual Practitioner License at the Agape University of Transformational Studies and Leadership in Los Angeles, CA in 2000. She was co-Director of Agape's Peace Ministry for three years where projects included participation in the Season for Nonviolence, a film festival and community summit focused on the Forgiveness Councils in South Africa with the South African Consulate. Rev. Deborah L. Johnson is the founding minister and president of Inner Light Ministries, an Omnifaith outreach ministry dedicated to teaching the practical application of Universal Spiritual Principles to all of life’s circumstances.  She is also the founder and president of The Motivational Institute, an organizational development consulting firm specializing in cultural diversity serving the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Her clients range from Fortune 500 companies to community based organizations. She is a dynamic public speaker, known for her ability to bring clarity to complex and emotionally charged issues. A life-long social justice activist, Rev. Deborah is the successful co-litigant in two landmark cases in California – one set precedent for the inclusion of sexual orientation in the state’s Civil Rights Bill, the other defeated the challenge to legalizing domestic partnerships.  A voice for compassion, equality, and reconciliation, her primary focus has been on coalition building, conflict resolution, public policy development, and cultural sensitivity awareness. She holds a vision of Oneness, beyond creed and doctrine, and feels particularly called to heal the sense of separation between those adhering to conservative and progressive ideologies. Her groundbreaking work has been featured in numerous books, magazines, radio, and television programs including Conversations with Neale (Neale Donald Walsch) radio show, Shambhala Sun magazine, Showtime TV’s Black Filmmaker Showcase production Jumpin’ the Broom, the film God and Gays: Bridging the Gap, and ABC Nightline. Rev. Deborah is the author of the The Sacred Yes and Your Deepest Intent of the Letters from the Infinite series, as well as Living the Sacred Yes: Affirmations for Action.  She is co-writer of several songs on Singing the Sacred Yes by Valerie Joi. Wherever she goes, her message is always one of possibility, inclusion, empowerment and transformation. Rev. Deborah is an inductee into the Board of Preachers of the Martin Luther King Jr. Chapel at Morehouse College which honors clergy for their lifetime work in social justice. She is a leadership development trainer for the Network of Spiritual Progressives, founded by Rabbi Michael Lerner and the Tikkun Community, Cornel West, and Sister Joan Chittister. Rev. Deborah is a member of the Advisory Council of the Association for Global New Thought. She is also an original vision core member of the Agape International Spiritual Center in Los Angeles founded by her spiritual mentor, Michael Beckwith. As an advocate for continual and lifelong learning, Rev. Deborah is a faculty member at several institutes of higher learning: UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Business Executive Leadership Diversity Training Institute; Pacific School of Religion; Holmes Institute of Consciousness Studies; and the Agape University of Transformational Studies and Leadership. She is also an Advisory Council member in the Women’s Studies Department at Brandeis University. Greg Johnson, President and Founder of L.O.V.E. Living Our Vision Everyday Foundation, began serving youth in high school as a counselor for the Youth Education Program for junior high school students. Mr. Johnson earned a B.F.A. from the University of Florida, a Master of Arts - Human Services: Executive Leadership from Liberty University in Virginia, and a Degree in Spiritual Counseling from the Agape University in Los Angels, California. Mr. Johnson has assisted in developing numerous curriculums for the advancement of our children for youth conferences, summer camps, and group homes. Mr. Johnson has served as a mental health counselor in private hospitals in Chicago, Illinois and as an Administrator for group home facilities in Northern California. L.O.V.E. Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization serving disenfranchised youth in Los Angeles, created to inspire and empower adolescents to consistently live a life of divine vision and purpose. The L.O.V.E. Foundation’s mission is to liberate adolescents with a message of love, community, vision, and faith. We work with young people in various environments they face such as homelessness, the child welfare system, the juvenile justice system, and school systems with festivals, events, workshops, supplementation of resources and support, and unconditional love.
